I have stayed at this hotel several times before, but this as my first sampling of the new 'Chill 96' bar/café arrangement. I regret I have to record my disappointment with the food service available - the evening meal was reduced to the base 24-hours menu owing to 'chef still being trained - a Management failure.

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of manchester. Ideal for transport links, shopping and entertainment. Downside was the breakfast. Very poor compared to other ibis hotels I have stayed in.

There was an obscure technical problem with my WiFi connection halfway through the stay. Both the receptionist and then the manager went out of their way to resolve the problem, eventually calling Accor technical and brokering a solution. I was grateful and impressed, again, by the service standards at ibis.

Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Impressive, since it’s located in the city centre. Staff was pleasant and the communication was perfect (I had to contact the hotel twice before my arrival). The breakfast was OK for Ibis standards, I just think that they should offer some fruits...

Just had a great long weekend in Manchester - the Ibis staff were all so friendly and nice. Breakfast was included in our booking but was missed on the IBIS booking but was soon rectified when we arrived. Room at back of hotel - fairly quiet location. Would stay again - didn't use the bar however - because even at 1/2 price they were more expensive than wetherspoons and some other local places but the on site facility is available.

I stayed in a double bed room facing the main road. It was slightly noisy during rush hours but did not intervene my sleep. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. It is definitely good value for money.

We stayed 5 nights in the hotel and was really plaseant, excellent location and very clean. Sasisfied and definetely will reccomand Value for money and staff is helpful. we travelled in January and was quite cosy.

The hotel is well situated, less than 5 minutes on foot from St Peters Square Station. A central line for Metrolink. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. There are several restaurants near the hotel on Portland Street

Had an excellent stay very nice rooms and bathrooms. Great service and help from staff. Great food and perfectly located for seeing the city and Panto. Fairly quiet and close to shops and other restaurants.

poor set out food area breakfast very poor seating area busy -poor check in area cramped poor staff poor food service poor room cleaning service very poor overall a poor stay, not good value for money, bad experience

Lovely renovated hotel at a very central location. Breakfast is continental but you can upgrade to a English for £2 extra. Continental was fine and no big queues as mentioned in previous reviews. We were there from Monday 'til Wednesday, so it might be busier during the weekend. We asked for a room off the main road so we didn't need to use the earplugs that were provided by Ibis. Only thing was that during the second night the bathroom started smelling like the sewer. We would definitely come back if we visit Manchester again

We've stayed for 2 nights in this hotel and another night in Ibis Leeds Marlboro street and in both hotels it was advertised that parking was included. We were surprised when we got there that NONE of both hotels actually had parking: they told us that there was public parking available nearby, but of course by our expenses. That's misleading information and if I knew it, I wouldn't have booked these 3 nights since for the extra expenses on parking we could've gone to far better hotels.

The hotel was great. Most of the staff were very friendly. The hotels location was perfect, close to all the attractions walking distance to most places. Car parking is expensive and the hotel has not parking.

The hotel is in the centre of town near to the Bridgewater Hall and the Royal Exchange. It is clean, welcoming, comfortable and not too expensive. The new twin bedrooms work very well and the newly done up ground floor is more comfortable than it used to be.

Good value city centre hotel, Ibis remains best value hotel chain for clean comfortable well-located budget hotels in most UK cities. Book via Topcashback for a further discount! Easy to find and convenient parking at Q-Park Piazza below hotel also discounted by 30%

Sentral, clean and simple hotel. Stayd for å weekend and it had everything i need in a Hotel. I've stayed there before and there are new rooms. The breakfest usunt that great but there is sevral place too eat near bye. I will always check out this Hotel in the future for hjelp rooms.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere in a conveniently located hotel. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Breakfast was fine and the 24hour bar was useful if you were out late. As the hotel is situated on a major road, rooms at the front of the hotel could be noisy but the hotel did provide ear plugs !!! although we didn't find them necessary.

Recently modernised hotel....really lovely now....GM very friendly, always interacting with clients. Didn't have the breakfast, but believe this is being changed very soon, quite likely will try it on our next visit.

We’ve stayed in this hotel last time in Manchester and that’s why we returned here,It’s a nice hotel with nice staff,Bar is great even though a bit pricey for red 🍷😱the 2 for one cocktails 🍹 made up for it though👌The breakfasts either cooked or continental are superb,The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk to the High Street and the Northern Quarter Area And Piccadilly train Station about the same.We will certainly use this hotel again when we visit Manchester again❤️

On the 2nd morning of our stay we entered the breakfast area to find the area full of what looked like delegates waiting to leave. But we quickly realised they were themselves there for breakfast. Not enough seating, everybody trying to get to the buffet selection while navigating round holdalls, bags and backpacks. The selection which was scattered from one end of the bar to the other was having to be continually refilled which your 2 members of staff tried hard to keep up with. You provided one 4 slice toaster where everybody patiently had to wait there turn, most gave up and left with bread, then queue again for meat or cheese. I myself waited for the toast only to find the lovely artisan bread that you so proudly told us the morning before that was freshly baked and delivered to the hotel every morning was nowhere to be seen but replaced by a ordinary white and brown. In the end we left .
