The hotel offered a full English breakfast from the buffet on arrival very few tables to sit at for breakfast and no buffet for hot food. The staff at the hotel were very helpful even with no reception desk it felt like walking in to a bar, other people were also not impressed as the web site stated a full English breakfast was available and confirmed on the reservation

Good location, easy walk to a variety of tourist spots. Well located to train station. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice relaxed pub downstairs wjere great coffee could also be had. Comfortable room and clean too.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast a bit disappointing mainly due to the cramped space where it was set out. Staff very helpful although service in the bar slow on Friday evening. Noisier rooms at the front of the hotel. Very narrow beds in the twin room."

Travelling for business is never that much fun but I walked in to the Ibis on a very wet Manchester night and the young lady insisted on running off to get me towel before checking me in. (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) Its the small things that make a big difference.

This hotel is a good budget option for Manchester City centre, it offers comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, with basic hotel services. The rooms have a modern design, with a desk and power outliets, a comfortable bed, TV, simple open wardrobe and a bathroom pod. There aren’t any safes in the rooms or ironing facilities, these are available, but not in the rooms. The bathrooms are functional and very clean, the showers are fantastic. Lots of hot water and great water pressure. The common areas of the hotel are limited to the lobby and coffee bar. The large reception desk is gone, replaced by hotel staff with tablets. It’s fine, and check in was very fast and efficient, but the unusual layout often means people are trying to squeeze past to access the breakfast buffet while others are checking out and it can get crowded. Breakfast was fine, a continental selection of cereals, fruits, cooked meats, pastries, etc. You can also order a breakfast bap of sausage, bacon and egg for 2 pounds extra. The seating area is small and can get very busy. In general, I’d say this is a good option for short stays or for business trips given the great location and no-frills approach.

Rooms look ok and beds are comfy but it gets so hot in the room and you have no control over the air conditioner unit. I did call reception but they said they couldn't do anything about it and recommended that I opened a window. This was Manchester on a Saturday night, I genuinely could hear one one vomiting outside the hotel, so loud. I mentioned it at checkout and the member of staff was not bothered.

After many nights in various Ibis hotels this one is memorable but not for the right reasons. The entrance reception and breakfast area all adjacent to the lifts is very badly designed. May look good but doesn't work with the chaos this bottleneck causes. The hotel unfortunately suffered a water outage. No water for a while and when restored only cold. Not the best morning shower. The hotel is adjacent to construction works which start early. This is temporary and I'm sure in time the hotel will be up to usual Ibis standard. Apart from that Good location for Manchester central with 5 minutes walk. Several restaurants close by.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is located near the city centre and handy for the tram. Had a good stay. Its a continental breakfast but still quite nice and filled a hole until lunchtime.

Great location with access to city centre and nearby Tram stop. Friendly hotel always staff on hand to help. Rooms comfortable even front room on main road was quiet. Good continental breakfast though seating limited due space.

Decent brand with faulty key cards. Ibis are a decent brand with recurring problems. If you put your room key near your mobile phone, it ceases to work and you have another trip to reception to recharge it. There can be a smell of drains in the room, if it has been vacant. The new room decor and tv is an improvement.

Average room - urine like smell obviously on walking into the room. Reported to cleaner who's first language wasn't English, she just shrugged her shoulders. Otherwise the service was good, location perfect and checking in/out was easy. Love what they have done with the open reception.

The hotel staff were wonderful! They made our stay comfortable and welcoming. The hotel itself was in a great location! It seemed clean but had a really bad smell! We were all itching during and after our stay. We had two night.

We booked this hotel for one night, but unfortunately it is still undergoing refurbishment and we were not told in advance, although the room was still clean and the comfortable the reception area consisted of a tiny check in desk surrounded by boards covering the refurbishment areas and if we wanted to eat and drink we would need to use the hotel next door, I'm sure it will be really nice once it is all finished though so we would probably stay again

We used the hotel as an overnight stop on our return from Scotland. We were a little disappointed to find renovations going on and the bar, breakfast and restaurant not available. This was not on website or made known when we booked. I feel that it should have published better or a room discount given

Really good hotel for the price. We were going to Parklife and we're just looking for a simple hotel for cheap. Breakfast was included in our deal which was really good as most hotels charge extortionate price for breakfast. Only thing i would say is the hotel was under renovation while we were there so there was no bar/restaurant etc but we were directed to the novotel hotel next door so it wasn't an inconvenience at all for us. Overall really happy with the hotel and really central location too!

Good central location to get out and about by public transport around the city and to explore the area and to Cheshire and Lancashire. Added to this the Manchester Marathon line up started outside the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and very Helpful, nothing was to much trouble Hotel was very clean, single beds a little on the small side, but saying that very clean, breakfast was very good. would recommend this hotel to anyone,

Service, locations, cleanliness, breakfast, all the things I look for when booking were excellent. Infact the customer service was better than excellent, they surprised us with balloons in the room after I mentioned it was my gf's birthday while we stayed in the hotel.

Centrally located, very convenient for the meetings I had in Central Manchester. Room clean & comfortable & slept well despite being on a busy road. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. Good value for money.

Great place to stay. Great service from the beginning to end. Excellent wifi, breakfast and location. Recommended to all of those that are looking to not stay at the hotel all day but to go outside all day long.
