Helpful, friendly and efficient staff; clean and comfortable room; excellent breakfast; very convenient for public transport, including Scotrail's Charing Cross Station which is about five minutes walk away. The walk to the City Centre took me about fifteen minutes. A short bus ride or a leisurely walk will take you to the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery which is just over a mile away and very well worth a visit.

I needed to find a nice clean, efficient, and well run hotel for a nightly stopover in Glasgow. The Ibis was perfect. The check-in was 2 mins. I had a pleasant drink at the bar, then a quick shower in a pristine bathroom, although it was small it was perfect, as cleanliness is important for me. The breakfast selection was very good and in no time at all I was off on my next journey. Checkout was not necessary.

The bed was very comfy. I had early check in and late checkout which was fantastic. Ideally situated in the city . Some great restaurants beside the hotel. Had breakfast in the hotel which was lovely. Will be staying again

Lovely clean and modern room, very friendly and polite staff.this is our second stay and would definitely stay again ,very central to main shopping, theatre and bars and restaurants also close to train stations

It was a fairly clean, cheap and cheerful property, we stayed in a twin room which was a food size, the bathroom had a wet room but the drain wasn’t great so it flooded quite easily, and the bed had only one pillow which wasn’t the most comfortable. Breakfast had a good amount of variety and a great coffee machine which is good, but I wouldn’t rate the cooked breakfast, probably a 3/5. Staff were not very attentive and upon arrival we were waiting to check in for a while after being told to wait because two of the staff were chatting away.

The staff were excellent, the room was clean. There were some noisy neighbours next door on my third night staying at the hotel. I know this can be a problem in hotels. After 10-15 minutes the noisy guests seem to disappear. Thank you.

Excellent location with plenty of shopping and eateries near by. Tidy communal area basic but functional and clean bedroom. Very accommodating staff and the early check in and late check out are great additions for those travelling.

Very clean and well kept rooms, fantastic breakfast available, and a bar in lobby to relax in after dy out and about. Very friendly staff. location was a few street back from the main shopping area but was easily walked

Very comfortable bed, functional toilet, all throughout clean, WiFi fast, great british and continental breakfast for what you pay, friendly personnel and overall atmosphere. I cannot ask more for the amount I paid.

we use this hotel very often and have never been disappointed. It is within easy reach of the city centre and within a 20 minute walking distance of SECC and Hydro. Breakfast is good and sets you up for the day.

A very pleasant stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the price was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent and very convenient for the city centre. Would be ideal for anyone attending a show at the Kings Theatre.

Was fine for a night, stayed in a twin with family - felt a bit cramped. Room smelt a bit stale when we opened the door. Breakfast was ok. Friendly staff and loved the super fast checkin and key dropoff for checkout.

Having had my first stay at the IBIS in Manchester this one was a disappointment. Glasgow seems like the poor relation. I now know that there is no reception desk, but staff should be more attentive. The breakfast compared to Manchester was poor - sorry. Big purple storage boxes in corridors and stairwells - did mention to staff but ws told that store rooms not big enough. Stairwells.... they are fire escapes and should not be used for storage. Rooms were ok for what we paid but will think again before booking an IBIS hotel.

This place is really handy when I have a research day at the Mitchell Library planned on a Monday. Check in on Sunday and relax then a ten minute walk on Monday morning to the library. Hotel always seems to be full of tourists which is a good sign.

Arrived early and was given a room without much fuss , Room was clean and quiet , What more do you want. Tour Bus was a bit in the way when they arrived only because reception is small.Only 10 min walk to Central Station.

The name of the hotel is Ibis Glasgow City Centre but it's not located in the city centre at all. The area is a little downgraded. The room and breakfast were very good. The employee at the reception was really kind.

Budget night out easy to book and check in. Bar busy later in evening. Just round corner from bath street near Charing Cross so handy for westend. Room at back of hotel no view but with window open street noise quite loud.

The central location was veryk nice and made walking around the city very convenient. The parking was easy, but icity park I n g was expensive, 6 pounds for two hours. However, if you arrive after 6pm and leave by 8 am, parking was free.

Good hotel situated not far from Kings Theatre. Staff very friendly and hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty choice for breakfast. Will certainly use this hotel again.
