I've recently visited London for the sixth time and it has been my sixth time in a row at the Ibis London Stratford. It's always a pleasure to visit this hotel in Stratford, which is 5 mins walking from the Stratford Station and also well connected from London Stansted airport through the National Express bus. You can visit London going everywhere from Stratford station by the underground and there is also a great opportunity to visit the Westfield commercial centre which is 5 mins walking from the hotel.

Essential for a business trip Breakfast is quite good and complete. A rack (even small) could be useful Some rooms are facing the main street and there are some rumors. One day the room has not been set-up

A great modern Ibis hotel, in a convenient location for the station. Very clean and the staff friendly, everything still felt very new so it was a nice place to be. Only downside was they put me in a twin room instead of the double i booked, but for one night I could cope.

Step down from the shower to the bedroom is a bit of a hazard to older guests. The very curved edges of the bedside tables could easily cause an accident with a bedside drink in the morning. Breakfast would have been better if the scrambled egg has not been solid and mushrooms were included.

A great budget hotel That i stayed for three nights for RTX London at ExCeL London . Friendly and very helpful staff. 3 mins walk to Railway and bus station and Westgate shopping centre. Look forward to staying at hotel again.

If you are looking for an affordable hotel in London with easy access to public transport this is it. To start your day you should enjoy the breakfast wich offers a very good selection for a good price.

The hotel is well placed for ExCel and Olympic Stadium (West Ham United or gigs). Fairly easy to get to by underground. Huge shopping centre there (Westgate). Staff friendly. Room clean, though a tad small for a double. Nice shower. Comfortable bed. Lift or stairs. Breakfast good (apart from the overcooked bacon when I stayed). Would stay again.

Comfortable bed, modern room, decent service. We didn't have food here but the bar looked good and there was a nice ambiance in the lounge/bar area. May be better to book a room at the back because the front rooms might be noisy from the road.

an IBIS Hotel, as usual, clean effective. Very good solution for biz in the City and Central London (Thanks to Tube Central ... frequent and direct to London). A lot of restaurants close to the hotel.

The room was comfortable, but lacked certain features that I would expect from a chain. Small things like the extremely bright lighting in the room, small TV and caravan-esque bathroom were big turn-offs. The hotel wasn't up to the standards of Premier Inn or even Travelodge.

I found the hotel convenient for local transport and shopping. The hotel is very clean and they provide a good breakfast. Staff very friendly - I can't think of anything negative to say, and I would stay again.

Stratford Ibis remains a favourite place to stay on visits. Location is superb with respect to shops, restaurants and transportation. Above all, staff are very friendly and efficient. The hotel was recently redecorated distastefully, compared to what it was. The welcoming ambience provided by a reception desk on entry to the hotel has disappeared. There is no more a reception desk and receptionists simple wander around attending to guests without a desk. The corridors to the rooms are bland and dull with shades of grey paint on walls and doors. Previously, they were lively with the contrast of minty green doors against cream walls. The rooms are now equally gloomy with predominantly grey walls and doors. The bedside lamps are hideous with cables dangling from the ceiling to loop the lamps. A mural on the wall around the television depicting a wall unit is childish and classless. The toilet is immaculate white and a rescue to the generally poor decor of the rooms. But this was again marred by another mural in black consisting of caricatures of toilet items such as comb, hair dryer, brush, etc. It is hoped the hotel will be rescued from this round of ill-conceived interior decoration, with the next opportunity. The beauty of this hotel was badly missed on this visit. The consolation is that the staff and services remained top.

The hotel is clean and rooms are functional. However, I have found it difficult to communicate with the majority of staff because their grasp of English is poor. Also, there is a lack of clarity of paying bills and charging food to your room - also due to a lack of understanding of English. On my stays the main bar area has been full of very rowdy Europeans who make the area difficult to be in due to the volume of their "conversation" and unsociable behaviour.

Excellent stay at ibis London Stratford. Very nice employees, really devoted for a pleasant stay. Very nice welcome. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent place with big shopping centers around. Tube station at about 5/10 minutes walk with 2 majors tubes lines to London city centre

The staff were some of the most helpful we have come across. Breakfast has improved considerably Overall the hotel was first class with the new electronic check in and out a help. Also the ability to leave luggage if arriving early is a great help

I chose this hotel because I was heading to a party in Central London on the Saturday Night, but couldn't afford Central London prices. This hotel is close enough for Stratford Station which is part of the District Line and thus the Night Tube. It easy enough the walk to - go through the Stratford Centre directly opposite the station and walk through to the other side, this brings you to Broadway, turn left and walk until you pass the churchyard, it will now be across the road behind Nandos. The rooms are the standard Ibis size which isn't too bad if travelling alone, but if travelling as a couple - things might get a little tight if you don't pack light. I had a slight issue with bathroom having a slight pong for the first day and a half, but i bought some air freshener from one of the two poundlands in the Stratford Centre and it resolved the issue.

Location was a 5 minute walk from Stratford a little bit outside of London. Accommodation was basic but clean and fresh. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot cooked food and yoghurt, cereals fruit etc. Check-in was slick and staff were very helpful. Only criticism was of the temperature control system in the room which didn't appear to be working. We didn't complain about it as it wasn't absolutely necessary for us but had we been staying during warmer weather we would have requested it be repaired. Also flush in the toilet made such a racket it was like the Queen Mary leaving port!

Excellent Hotel , Excellent Staff , Great site for exploring London from - 20 mins out of all the hustle and bustle. Would definitely use again and reccommend to anyone wanting a good value hotel within graeter London .

Enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable, clean and with helpful polite staff. First impression was its nice from the time first walked in, room size spacious and well designed. The Location is great, accessible to transport, shops etc.
