It was nice stay, however, it has some demerits such as very poor reception, too far from the city centre, and not good welcome scnarios as in the other hotel. It has to keep opened the reception for 24 hours .

Other than cheap price, I can think of no reason why anyone should stay at these student hostel-type establishments called Ibis Budget. I would normally stay at an ordinary Ibis but this time I wanted to save money. This particular Budget is way out of the city centre, but on the plus side it's close to an U-Bahn station and it's easy to reach the centre of Munich. The receptionist phoned me to ask what time I would check in, which put a slight pressure on me.

The accommodation was overpriced for what it was. I know prices are higher during Oktoberfest but I don't think it was worth it. The room was small but clean, same with the bathroom. The breakfast was terrible, the bread was stale and selection was very small. We have had much better breakfast at cheaper prices with a great selection.

Clean and simple - all you need. Particularly good modern lighting in the room. Only subdued traffic noise - not a problem. If arriving by U-bahn the hotel is easier to find from St-Qurin-Platz station. Turn left as you exit the train. Leave the station through the dramatic glass concourse. In 50 yards or so turn right at the cross roads. In about 70 yards you get to a dual carriageway. At this point look left. Ibis is about 200 yards up the road between the footbridge and the ARAL filling station/shop.

I have stayed in IBIS budget Hotels but this one felt a little tired and the very large main road next to it meant it was not really possible to have the window open. Oddly for a room on the fourth floor with a bed for young children the window could be opened completely without any safety barrier. The steps to the bunk bed were not really foot friendly. Desk staff a little abrupt but other house staff very friendly. In truth I would think twice before using this particular IBIS.

I have alway booked with Ibis hotels due to price and quality and always will. I tour on a motorcycle and the last thing you need after 4 hours in the saddle is what is the hotel like, does the shower work (does it have a shower). Use Ibis hotels with their private parking polite reception and ample accommodation and worry no more. 10 out of 10.

The room was clean and had just about enough space for two people. Beds were very comfortable. Location is a bit remote, but with rented car and near by garage parking, it was easy to get to the city center.

Regarding comfort, room size and all the characteristics of the hotel, this one is just like any other Ibis Budget I have been. The good thing about this one is the location. It is 8 minutes walk to subway line U1, from where you can quickly go anywhere in the town. The only bad thing was the cigaret smell on the hallway, which eventually get in the room (It's nothing strong, but it bothered us a little bit). Even though, I would stay there again.

Ibis Budget Muenchen City Sued is well-situated to visit Munich's far-flung treasures. One can board the U1 line to reach the Hauptbahnhof. From here, one can take different U-Bahn lines to reach the Alte Pinakotek, Neue Pinakotek, Residenz, Schloss Nymphenburg, BMW Museum, Pinakotek der Modern, English Garden, Rathaus, Theresienstrasse, Marienkirche, and other sites. The hotel is located near a ReWe City, Doner Kebap places, and pizza restaurants. The hotel provided good cleaning, quick checkout, and billing. The reception is not staffed continuously. In these cases, it is critical to have your Ibis check-in emails with transaction and reservation codes. With the reservation code, one will be able to access the entry code to pass through the hotel front door and to open your hotel room door. (This data is generated by a front door kiosk when the reception desk in not staffed.) The hotel offers good value.

The Hotel is in good location ,the is was cleaned daily near to "U" Bhan , two super markets are near by and its next to road easy reach by car too, Reception is very friendly ,the reception open till 10 pm ,so you can arrive after 6 also ,if late you can use machine to get the codes for the door and room number

Stayed in ibis Budget München City Süd for a few days to visit and explore Munich. Located near a subway station and with the modern ibis Budget style (rooms with separate box for shower and toilette, better breakfast buffet) this is a good hotel for our family trip.

Clean rooms. Great location close to the u-bahn. Comfortable stay. Only a small issue with the window blind which didn't get fixed even though we reported it to the reception staff. Luckily this had a minimal impact on our stay as we were able to temporarily fix the blind in place.

I couldn't sleep because of mechanical noise somewhere in the hotel all night. I had asked for a quiet room. I told reception the next morning but no compensation or reduction of the bill was offered. This speaks to the greed of the company. It would be nice to be valued and for companies to be generous-spirited about what they do. That sounds like an unwelcome idea to corporate business. The room was 197 euros. For noise and little sleep.

The personal, room and location was very good. We wood have a hotel near the city and were we could have come with our car with no problem. The personal was kindly and helped us when we had questions.

I"d like hotel.near metro, tram, bars and restaurants.but is long center, station train, etc.the hotel is good to client that need to past the night, but who went to past several days like me inst good.i"m been sincerity .

My wife an I went to this Hotel for Oktoberfest , The hotel has everything necessary , the rooms are to small, but clean , the bed was fine, the breakfaste sees fine, we didnt tryed, but was ok, i would recommend this to a friend, the location was fine, we had to walked like 10 minutes to get an U station, but is fine, they have a market next to hotel you can grab diferent beer, and snack,

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend Oktoberfest. There is a train station very close by which was convenient, check in was easy despite it being after hours. Our room was clean, and had a large shower. Having just a room code to get into our room was handy. Perfect for our requirements, would stay again.

Wrong date on the reservation. After three e-mail, they reassured that it will be fine. Nonetheless it has been twice the amount in my bank account. After calling it indicated that the site you arrange a hotel manager. The hotel management is not settled, we received a free breakfast in the hotel in exchange for eight people. No one can recommend it!

It's very easy to get to the city centre, the metro is only about 400m away. The room was small but had a very comfortable bed and was nice and warm. It was well soundproofed so quiet despite the busy road outside.

a bit noisy due to location next to a busy street, easy access from the Hauptbanhof (Main Railway Station) by Metro, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast (coffee, tea, orange juice, cheese, salami, eggs, cereals, etc.), overall good value for money,
