The room was clean, bed was comfortable. One minor issue is the pillows. Not that soft. I found it strange that the sink was not next to the shower, though. A chair would have been nice, only had a stool.

I have to say That I appréciate my stay in That hotel quite New And cle an.thé service Was Nice And gentle. nevertheless something disturb me. I stayéd atthe Ninth level. Thère Was no sécurity upon thé Windows probebly broKen And it Was unscribe That thé hotel would not take anyway responsability if something happened

You get what you pay for. Could have got another star if personnell at least were nice to speak with. Rooms to warm, no airconditioning, very noisy area and no noisecancelling windows. Cleaning was soso. Think twice if you expect to find a service you are used to such as extra pillow or hairdryer or international TV-channels.

Small room but efficient. WC IS separated from shower cabin. Bathroom sink is in the room. Clean. Very comfortable bed. Easy check in , check out. In case you are in hurry, you can have breakfast to go.

I mentioned extended bed but got just two sleep bed. It felt difficult to sleep with my baby. And anoter thing is room windows has no locks and also no fan in the room. Very difficult to sleep during hot summer.

Cheap enough hotel with okay public transport links if looking for an overnight stay on a budget - would not recommend for anything else though. No aircon or ability to open windows in 31 degree heat!

I made a booking for my stay in IBIS Budget Porte de Vincennes after that I paid for this stay with my credit card. Normally the payment would have cancelled the booking, however the system of IBIS didn't proceed like that. Therefore they charged about 60 Euros from my bank account without my consent and without informing me. This is shameful.

The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin!! No frills, no extras (apart from a surprise box of chocolates on St. Valentine's Day) but spotlessly clean with cheerful, efficient staff. The bed was comfortable which is a major plus.

Basic functional but clean and tidy, helpful polite staff. Would have been 5/5 but felt the breakfast was very limited for the extra price. Was well worth paying the 10 euro supplement for late checkout though.

We stay 4 nights in February 2016. Good value for Paris. Next to Metro station (line 1 go the tha centre, to Metro station to airport and only with one attaching to other main places), warm in the room, good breakfast, nice people, close to shops.

This is a clean, modern and comfortable hotel in a good location, minutes from the Metro, linking us to some of the main attractions in Paris. Disappointingly, upon our arrival, we were completely ignored by the receptionist and a colleague, who rudely continued their own lengthy conversation! This happened on more than one occasion. After finally checking in, we found our rooms missing several essential items, including towels, cups without wrapping and even a door handle to the toilet, forcing us to invent a way to open the door! Unfortunately, the aforementioned issues were never resolved satisfactorily. Furthermore, the blind was broken and the toilet had an unpleasant odor... I would recommend this hotel for its good location.

The staff at reception wasn't the most helpful and quite rude. Although we requested a twin room, we were given a double room. When asked to change, no option was given. It is only a few moments later when we spoke to a manager that they managed to change the rooming around and we got a twin room. Accommodation is very basic with no privacy of a bathroom. All in all, a cheap way of staying in Paris, but not the greatest service/facilities.

Aside from the poor reception experience, everything else was satisfactory. Unfortunately having a poor start to the hotel stay made a lasting impression. Given the opportunity I would not recommend this hotel.

Not a small room, with an unusual layout, with the sink in the room rather that with the shower or the toilet, which were separate. Breakfast was nice with a good cheese as well as all the usual breads, fruit juices etc. The coffee was nice too. A safe location, we walked to Nation and then on to Republique and the Boulevards. We travel by rail, not car, so the location is very important to us. Very fast access by Metro to Gare de Lyon, making this a good stopover hotel if you are travelling on through France by rail as we were.

The hotel was generally clean and tidy and the room was sufficient. The hotel front desk staff were not helpful. Check the location before you decide to stay there (i.e., streets very dirty, not a nice walk at nice from tube)

In fact it is all you need if you are very busy in Paris. It is fair enough to sleep but don't expect more of it. Breakfast is fully in plastic (bring your own cup and spoon with you!!) but I have to admit that there is enough to eat. Room is very clean and the beds are very good, but small as everything; toilet, douche, space to move... I had a room filled with noise of the air-conditioning and no one was able to stop it...

Regarding very bad experiences with hotels in Paris, this was amazing! Very clean, without troubles and silent! Quick booking on net in advance, no problem with our arrival at 2 am... only rooms are too small, but enough for 2-3 overnights

If you have already stayed in a Etap hotel this is nothing new. The best of this place is that it has the metro station 5 minutes walking from the hotel. That subway line (M1) is the main one which takes you to the main Paris attractions. The ladies at the desktop were polite but not exactly friendly. The room is simply OK. The sheet of the upper bed (if it can be called a "sheet") was not replaced from one night to the other. Can't expect more for this price, but it is a great option if you want to save money in a really expensive city. Another advantage is that it has a big super market two blocks away. Walking at night from the hotel to the supermarket is not the best idea because the neighbourhood that is in between is not nice.

Our stay was part of a explore Paris spring break trip for a group consisting of 22 college students and two faculty members. The hotel was in a convenient location just beyond the Periphique. The rooms were comfortable and very efficient rooms (though very small by US standards). We were three blocks from a metro station on the #1 line and passed a grocery and three bakeries on our morning walk to the metro. Having the metro nearby makes everything convenient. The Sunday morning market near the metro stop is too good to miss. We'll gladly stay here again.

Had a twin room for two nights for me and my brother. Didn't think the room really lent itself for relatives sharing as shower was abit precariously positioned and beds were bunk beds but very comfortable. Top bunk hadn't been made up and only a sheet and blanket provided. No pillow case or mattress cover.
