See the title and the 4 stars I have given it. I have stayed here many times now and recommend it. It's very close to a tram station so very convenient for getting into the centre of Bordeaux for sightseeing.

hotel has 24 hour reception and is a standard ibis budget. It is only a short walk to tram line c about 25 minutes into centre. Not much else around hotel so suggest you eat in Bordeaux before arriving at hotel.

Basic but clean room. The staff were helpful and the breakfast sufficient. We would recommend staying at the Ibis budget as it provided an excellent base to explore the lovely city of Bordeaux. Tram line was so convenient and affordable.

It is really easy to travel into Bordeaux centre using the excellent tram service which is within easy reach of the hotel. There are several other hotels and eating establishments within walking distance of the hotel if you wish to eat locally.

very clean and light, but basic, so felt cramped. bathroom was perfectly OK but so small. Par for the course at this price. One chair in a double room was uncomfortable. Only one pillow per person. A grab handle in shower would have been helpful

A clean hotel but a very basic breakfast, helpful staff It would be nice to have a restaurant and bar. A tram service just outside this will take you to Bordeaux town centre, cheap return ticket. A nice place to stay if your travel through france.

Renovation work being done but no notification of it. No reception. Had to check in using the automated machine, then once we had our room number and entry code had to go exploring as there was no one to ask where our room was located and there weren't any plans of floors showing where the room were. But the pièce de résistance was when we eventually gained entry to our bedroom, it stank of Sewage, especially the bathroom. As there were no staff on duty we had no option but to sleep under the covers. Couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

machine check in and was automatically given smoking rooms. No one around to change room. Dirty and smelly, would not book in an Ibis budget again due to the poor condition of the hotel. Again, no one around when departing at 10am.

Hotel well located . Easy to access and near public transportation to reach down town Bordeaux. Air conditionning was not efficent which causes troubles at night with high temp. Staff was pleasant and efficent.

The location of this hotel is good. We arrived late, and tho we could easily check onto our rooms, getting into the hotel itself was hard! VERY basic rooms, but clean, mattress very hard. Shower good. We won't use it again, preferring to spend a little more on the "non - budget" version! Breakfast was good value for the money.

This is a budget hotel that does what it says on the tin. I have stayed in this hotel twice a year since 2007.on my way to and from the UK.It is close to the motorway links whether you are travelling to the north or the south into Spain.

well.............................................ugly and bad odors in the room, so i really had some hard time to sleep. Even after having sprayed an entire bottle of an odor free solution (febreze..) the odors remained..i wish i had at least a clean and odor free room for 55 euros.

In principle the hotel was very good. The only slight thing was that the room we had on our return journey had a faulty shower drain, & the water soaked the floor. Maybe no-one had reported it; a note about the shower was left for the cleaners. It was difficult to report it to the staff due due lack of sufficient knowledge of the language.

A rebranded Etap hotel, I guessing smoking was aloud in its previous guise current owners have tried to hide the smell with a fragrant of some description, it hasn't work, breakfast was poor, saving grace the bed was clean and comfortable, and the near by steak house was nice.

The place was clean, simple yet clean. I had little chance to make use of the amenities. A major criticism I have is that the man at the reception, the manager, was the most unpleasant hotel receptionist I ever met. Try and avoid him if possible.

Room & bedclothes stank of cigarette smoke. Shower was in disgusting condition and leaked badly, flooding room. Ibis clearly didn't read my survey response, as they've asked me to complete this report!!

This budget hotel is 20 minutes from town - AT PRESENT - the in progress extension of the tram will make this very convenient for visitors and business travelers. The hotel is a little untidy outside but inside is fine. The restaurant across the road is OK and with the discount voucher available (15% off) made it reasonable - there is a MacDonalds and other places to eat nearby. Parking is free and plentiful - Would stay here again. PS the Casino nearby does cheap meals - Make sure you ask reception for a map of the locality to find the tram and bus stops and other places to eat. Breakfast at the hotel was OK for THE money

Locality not great for city centrer but plenty of local stuff like bowling etc to do. Cheap family accommodation with offers form hotel for discounts at local restaurants. Friendly staff. Continentl brekky, as usual. Overall Good enough
