As Usual perfect in order. We choose to stop here every time on our journey between France and Nederland. Easy to find, secure parking and a very attent staff. The rooms are large, complete and perfect in order. The inclusive Breakfast is plentiful and enough to French standards.
Lovely size room, much bigger than expected and a great size for families. Nice to have the mini fridge and microwave too. Really appreciated the free tea and coffee and the included breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the local Courtepaille, for which you get a 15% discount, which is just across the road. Parking plentiful and grass around for the dogs, would definitely use this hotel again for overnight stops.
Only request if possible a second chair in the room and one TV channel in English of Dutch. Otherwise very good and a very pleasant reception . Although modern the feeling is of easy going comfort. We shall visit again on our way between homes.
Very spacious room with comfortable beds. The bathroom was large with both bath with shower and separate shower cubicle. Toilet separate. Quiet location with plenty of parking. Friendly reception staff with excellent command of English if your French isn't very good. The included buffet breakfast was very good - a special feature being the freshly squeezed orange juice.
perfect, clean, tasty food, amazing service. Perfect location, beautiful design, very clean, very big and comfortable bed in family room. Rich breakfast, everyone can find sth tasty. perfect for children
very good hotel - ex suite-Novotel, so big rooms - good situation for aeroport or need a car - 15mn drive from Lille city centre if you want to go out - no restaurant in the hotel but food in fridges and microwave int the room
Friendly staff, rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were at the ground level and the bathroom had a residual and persistent smell..and We found also an old sandwich in the fridge.Neighbours were noisy we could hear TV from 4 to 7am...Breaksfast with buffet was perfect.
Thanks to the A1 being allowed to be blocked by the police, we didn't arrive until 6:45am! The staff were very helpful, allowing me to take my breakfast to my room for when I woke up at 11am and offering to extend the checkout time if needed. Excellent service, comfortable room, couldn't have asked for more.
Convenient stopover on way to or from channel ports. Room has everything you need. Staff excellent, friendly and efficient throughout. Brasserie over the road open late if you need a meal after travelling.
Bring able to check in on line is a great help. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a buffet breakfast with a good selection even for non meat eaters. The hotel is also easy to find from the motorway.
This hotel is very good value for money. It was easy and quick to check in, room was spacious and comfortable and staff helpful. Breakfast was excellent. No faults apart from some difficulties in finding it (my SatNav brought me to about a mile from the actual hotel and I then had to struggle to find it, update your maps if you are coming by car as this seems to be a new address and road)
Once again we pre-planned our late arrival & were greeted warmly. The room was one of the largest in the Ibis group that we have experienced & had both a bath & a shower, with a separate wc. The twin beds were very comfortable & ensured that we had a good night's sleep after a very long previous 24-hours. Breakfast was simple & of a standard that is quite acceptable, though the fresh orange juicer was to used with great care!!
Lovely service, nice big family room, we will be back! The person at reception (Sara?) gave great tips for an afternoon walk in Lille and reserved a nice brasserie for us in Lille for dinner. The kids had great fun with the Easter egg hunt also!
We had stayed in this hotel several times over the years. We knew beforehand that it had changed from being a Suitehotel into a Ibis Styles hotel. Recently the Accor group has decided that they want this to be an Ibis Styles hotel. It was the worst "update/remodelling" we have ever seen. At the entrance of the road leading to the hotel, there is a large camping site of gypsies. When checked in and arrived at the room it had still obvious traces of the "old" Suitehotel. It took us a minute or two to absorb it. They just took away the couch, desk/table, chair, blinds, room screens, boarded up the little sink, took away the electric kettle and replaced it with two useless Fat boys and a cheap floor lamp. And what made it worse was that the drainage pipes from the bathroom were broken and leaking water in the bedroom. It was obvious that this was not a recent prblem because the PVC floor had staines and had come loose from the underfloor. The lift smelled and was dirty. And the carpet in the corridors has so many staines that it looked like the only solution to solve this was to replace it. Overall the hotel lacked thourough and good cleaning. Sorry to say this. But this was definately our last stay in this hotel. You wonder what they had in mind when they decided to downgrade this hotel.
It is a standard hotel which has been dressed with flashy fancy decoration. The room is large, even too empty. The hôtel is clean but you start to see the fancy decoaration is bit weared: could not close the door of the bathroom... the douche is not closed, so very slipery after use... Bed is good. Breakfast is standard + At the end for 1 night ok, but still a bit expensive even so close to the airport (less than 2km)
Really good stay, really liking all the Ibis Styles, because they have family rooms. Ibis cater for the children too and everything is so very clean. Consider me an Ibis convert! I will now always look at Ibis first when booking a hotel.
The new designed room with a "fat boy" was really nice. Service at the hotel was excellent and the staff professionally handled and regretted several times about an unexpected warm water problem so we avoided getting angry about lack of warm water the last day. We got an expected very cold shower the last day but also a proper discount without any argumentation. The extra service with a tray with free water, coffee, tea and croissants next to the elevator was nice.
We have stayed previously at this hotel when it was a Suitehotel. The rooms are large but hardly any furniture. Area previously with sink and kettle has been blanked off. Floors are now laminated! Noise from the few pieces of plastic furniture being dragged across the floor can be heard from other rooms. This continual rebranding of Accor hotels must be costing a fortune. On the plus side the price is right and the free breakfast great.
Stayed here on a stop off from Paris to Brussels and I can quite truly say I was really impressed with the hotel especially considering how cheap it was the room was clean and spacious and the staff more than helpful. The only thing I would say let it down was the shower room was not very private as the doors into it had a few holes in which you could quite easily see through so we had to stick a towel in the hole to block it out. Apart from the one issue I would stay here again and was very impressed with it.
