A typical IBIS hotel with all comfort, nice rooms, great bar and breakfast. Normally wel priced, but of course with some extra charge due to events at Koning Baudewijn stadion We stayed here with the U2 concert event. Nice to see that the bar was still open after the concert so that tere was time to have a flashback! Great service at the bar.
We were looking for a cheap overnight stop to break up a long drive to Germany and booked this hotel for around £75 for two rooms. The hotel is easy to find and just a short walk from the Atomium or a bus/tram ride from the city centre if you are looking for something to do. Although parking was not included (and from the description on the website, I expected to have to park on the road) there is an enclosed car park to the rear at a reasonable price (10 euros per day IIRC). Bedrooms were very clean with wonderfully comfortable beds, aircon and a decent powerful shower. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We couldn't find anywhere nearby to get a meal so resorted to the hotel food. The limited range of food is understandable (this ain't the Ritz!) but the pizzas were decent and enough for our needs. Our stay exceeded my expectations and my daughters loved their first stay in a hotel. In summary, cheap price with quality rooms; far better than some I've experienced in the UK for twice the price.
Perfectly adequate hotel, staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, Hotel location good for Palais 12, Expo, Atonium and Heyzel (although otherwise quite a distance from the centre. Perfectly adequate; would happily stay again
Helpful staff and good service. The hotel is well located for the Expo and has a small car park costing 10 Euros per night. I have stayed on several occasions and would recommend this property to others.
I am a regular user of Ibis hotels and have stayed in over forty of them. This is the worst room that I have ever been offered. I was totally disappointed in it. It was a very hot night and the room was cramped and the duvet very heavy. May I suggest to Ibis management that a summer duvet be introduced in line with your competitors.
We stayed here just for one night on work with my German colleague on business trip to Brussels. The staff we encountered are good. The rooms are nice and cosy. The one we had actually could have been used to sleep to 2 comfortably. It had almost like 2 double beds. Internet was fast enough with steady speeds. Breakfast was good and check in / check out were smooth. Overall it fits the Ibis tag perfectly.
Kind but uninformed staff. There is a no stopping sign 1-15 on one side and a no stopping sign 16-31 on the other side of the street near the hotel. I arrived on 15th in the evening, the hotel staff told me to park my car on the same side of the street as other cars are parked. Next morning me and a woman from France, we found tickets under windscreen wipers. I had to go to the Police Station. A policeman informed me that in the evening on 15th I should have left my car on the side with the "no stopping sign 1-15", receptionist should have known that, the hotel was not built a month earlier as well as signs on the street were not placed a month before. I also didn't like that it was not vacuumed under the bed. The rest was quite ok.
This hotel lies conveniently close to the EXPO, Motorway and airport. However the rooms are dated and smell like ex-smoking rooms. Staff is very friendly and parking is also easy there. Too bad, that prices are often hight due to frequent events nearby. Tried breakfast at one of the earlier occasions that I stayed and is very good but not cheap.
Very large room on the plus side but a little dated and 2 single beds rather than the double which was expected. On site restaurant was quaint but food was overpriced for what we received, however this was my only gripe.
I stay here regularly for business trips. It's great for working in the west of Brussels, as long as you have a car (although it's not too far from the metro too). The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms are standard Ibis rooms - functional and comfortable - and the restaurant has a great range of Belgian beers. There are some good restaurants nearby, as well as fast food if you prefer. It's harder to get around if you don't have a car, but other than that a very good hotel that's always my first choice for that part of Brussels
The hotel is very close to the exhibition centre. I just thought it was very expensive as the current show was not a big thing and I was just in Bruxelles for other business that this very "confidential" show ; not sure we should all pay such a premium to be honest.
Needed a place to stay while visiting L'Hopital Reine Fabiola. Nice room, helpful and friendly staff, easy parking, super nice bedding. Good location close to the highway, Expo, and Atomium. I would certainly stay here again in the future if in the area.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of our holiday in Belgium. We arrived later than planned due to motorway problems, but were very please with our room and the hotel facilities. The evening menu was a bit limited but our meal wast tasty and enhanced by the choice of beers from all regions of Belgium and we had a very pleasant evening. The walk to the Metro was near the Atomium was a bit further than expected, and returning from the city in appalling weather we found it easier and closer to walk from the stadium station at the end of the line. The hotel was clean and the staff very pleasant, and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
