Good location, very central, close to shopping streets, place Bellecour, downtown. I recommend this hotel to Trip Advisor for the lcentral location, good ratio price vs quality, cleanliness and service oriented.
I've stayed here before, and will again. The reception is friendly and helpful, and English is spoken. The famous Brasserie Georges, which is celebrating it's 150th anniversary, is only about 10m from the entrance to the hotel, and has service outside normal meal times, which may be important for hungry travelers. The room was very quiet, in spite of being very close to the Perrache train station.
very well located (close to station, subways, bus) and in the center of Lyon, this place provide very clean and quiet rooms; bed is very very confortable, and all employees are welcoming you ! even breakfast is excellent!
Very conveniently situated close to Lyon Perrache rail station and next door to the Brasserie Georges, this has a slightly different, more retro feel to the regular Ibis brand thanks to the impressive staircase that connects each floor. The value for money quality is exactly the same, however. Within fairly easy walking distance of the town centre and a good choice for a short break.
Booked on line with an eye on what we wanted to do and the proximity of the hotel to those locations. Ideal for browsing the key tourist areas at a convenient price. The service was excellent and made our first days in France most enjoyable. Would stay there again.
We were on our way to Bordeaux via train and needed a place to stay one night in Lyon. The hotel staff were friendly, the rooms were nice, the bar was a welcomed place for our group to gather, and the breakfast was fantastic! We were a little disappointed that we were only staying the one night. The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station (unfortunately for us it was the wrong train station) but to be honest, we couldn't hear any noise from the station and our room was overlooking the tracks. This is not a hotel for someone who wants a view, but the rooms were clean, European style (think Ikea) and a great location if you want to explore the city or if you are planning to travel by train and need a place to stay. The staff was helpful by showing us place for dinner and helping us get to the other train station.
Everything excellent as expected Can't comment on the food as we didn't bother with breakfasts .........................................................................................................!
Located just beside perrache station with several public transportation lines available. The twins room is comfortable with simple decos. Remember to take your tooth brush with you. The reception is hospital and helpful!
We stayed in Ibis Lyon Centre Perrache for a weekend, and we could appreciate its very convenient position in the presq'ile very close to the subway and to the centre of Lyon. The room was confortable, as the Ibis standard, clean, and quiet. The hotel has also some parking slots, in front of the entrance, very good to leave the car and get around with tram/metro.
Right next to train station and a fantastic restaurant called Georges Brasserie, it has operated for over one hundred and twenty five years. Parking is in train station parking. Close to shops and other restaurants also.
Close to town and clean. Unfortunately the bar closes at 10pm, so after a night out you can not get a coffee. The rooms are basic but all you need to get your head down. But could do with coffee and tea facilities. You can park outside the hotel if you dont mind topping up the metre every three hours or pop it in the carpark across the road which is save to do so.
Not the first time we've stayed at the Perache Ibis en route to Corsica. As ever it lived up to expectations. Clean, friendly, helpful staff and the Wonderful Brasserie George right next door for an evening meal.
hotel in very good condition and comfortable obviously hotel has been recently fully refurbished convenient for Lyon centre with very good restaurant next door. staff very helpful good WiFi in room and with terminal in foyer
Very good town centre hotel with access to rail and tram just outside. Rooms are adequately sized and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was available and there was parking immediately outside the hotel and in an adjacent public car park.
Ibis Lyon Centre Perrache is definitely a very good hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Good transportation connections are available, as well as the hotel being in walking distance from the city centre. The rooms are essential and clean. Breakfast is good, although choices are somehow limited. As a result, a good hotel, with good value for money.
The room is small and clean. Typical ibis hotel room, the hotel is in walking distance from train station about 500m. Hotel is close to the city area. since it is right in the city, a bit noisy in the early morning if you close your windows, it is no problem
Delivers value for money. Close ( 2 minutes walk ) to the main Perrache metro / tram / rail station, but no noise. Rooms and hotel typical no frills Ibis, but clean and excellent aircon. Bit of a muddle on check out over rates per day, but would very happily go back. An easy and flat walk into the city - recommend the city hire bikes to get around. Right next to Brasserie Georges - bouchon mass eating for families. Good for a Lyon eating sample but not exactly the real experience. Rail to Viennes from Perrache station( 30 minutes ) is an excellent day out.
Ibis Lyon was excellent. Highly recommended, it was clean, comfy and close to Gare De Perrache station. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided us with maps and directions for local sights. Ibis Lyon is a central hotel within easy walking distance to one of the main shopping districts.
The reception was very friendly and helpful, and the servers at breakfast were, too. The hotel is located just next to the famous Brasserie George, and is steps away from the Perrache train station, metro, and tram.
This is a typical, comfortable Ibis hotel, which I was pleased to find as pleasant as when I last visited it six years ago. Although adjacent to Perrache station, there was no noise disturbance from trains and i enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep and a reasonable breakfast. If I was trying to find any thing to improve on, I would have to go for what was in the breakfast (and I realise that this might be just my particular taste): the muesli was a bit sweet for my liking and there were not any raisins, seeds, etc. that could be added to suit individual tastes.
