This hotel was good to stay in a bit of noise from local housing area but very secure parking and grounds the rooms and hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful you can walk to Arles down the side of the river
Very nice hotel but I score only one star to raise IBIS management attention. We stayed for one night 18th May during a hot period in France . The room was so hot, sleep was impossible. The window opened wide but let in lots of noise and light from the excellently lit car-park. In the morning we spoke with the manager who said the AC is only switched on in June after it has been serviced and that it's a management decision. So I'm thinking why not service it earlier in the year so that it can be used for the comfort of guests if the temperature rises. We were given an 18 euro discount but I'm guessing that 50 rooms not using AC would save a lot more. Thankfully just stayed one night. I'll mention also that breakfast was chaotic with having to ask for many items to be topped up. The one person on duty clearly couldn't cope....I didn't see any management help.
Recently upgraded to Styles and comfortable room and excellent breakfast selection for an Ibis. Design of room and hotel facilities could be described as "style over substance" in certain areas, eg a 250 mm by 75mm bed side shelf, which is no good for anything. We had booked for two days, and decided we would like to stay a third. On enquiring we were told the hotel had availability and would be at the same price as before. We said we would stay on at the hotel. Next morning, by chance we were still in our room, when told by reception we had no booking and had to leave the room. On challenge to Reception we we were told there was no booking for the third day, however there was another room, but was for 3 people , and we would need to pay some 20 odd Euros more as well as changing room. We were made to feel the error was ours, and we're very disappointed that the hotel would not even honour the previous room rate. On speaking to manager, she eventually agreed to take 15% off, which closed gap to approx 5 Euros. Despite much debate we were effectively told to take it or leave it. So the hotel makes a error, and we are made to feel it is our fault, and pay extra too? How mean spirited of manager not to close the gap by the 5 Euros so we at least got the same price, by way of some recompense! It left a really poor view of what is our favoured hotel brand when we travel on France.
Hotel itself is ok, but you still have feeling that you are in a regular "red" Ibis in France. Tea/coffee corner on base floor is not well organized, sound proofing is quite poor. City center is reachable by car, but not on a short walking distance.
This is a very good hotel well located near Arles centre good parking and staff were very helpful we enjoyed the swimming pool. The rooms were clean and we had a good sleep. They do a good choice for breakfast and not to busy
All you would expect of an Ibis. Superbly comfortable bed, good sized, quiet room, clean, good bathroom, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk to town or convenient buses every 35 minutes - but they stop running early evening. Excellent pool and outside dining/breakfast area.
Good stay. The accommodation was looking a bit old, however everything was clean. It was a fair walk to the town centre. The walk was enjoyable especially when following the river. The breakfast was very good, especially when sitting beside the pool in the morning. I was impressed with the way all bus tourists were located in another dining area for breakfast, leaving us to enjoy ours in peace.
