Booked for one night to assist with catching an early flight from Sydney Airport the next morning. Proximity to the airport was reasonable; it took us about 15 minutes to get to the Blu Emu car park, travelling at around 6:00am. Hallways and rooms were not clean; stains on hallway carpets and room walls. Felt more like a hostel rather than a motel, unfortunately.
We stayed for 1 night Friendly staff Nice location and close to airport, only took us around 15 minutes Would recommend for people that are planning to stay for a short trip in Sydney Would definitely go back if visit Sydney again
Overall, the place is clean and is in a very convenient location. it is accessible to trains and buses. However, the air conditioning was quite noisy, that we did not get enough sleep. Moreover, at breakfast, was served a disappointing sour soy cappuccino.
Hotel is comfortable with very good King bed. The room has Fridge and tea and coffee - just what you need for an over nite stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is close to public transport which is an added bonus.
The room was as expected - but clean & tidy. Location was perfect with McDonalds & KFC next door & train station an easy walk. Free parking was a bonus & the kids LOVED the pancake machine for breakfast. Overall a very enjoyable stay
Have stayed at a few Ibis hotels over the years and the St Peters hotel is quite good. The usual bedroom setup for a Budget Ibis with the pod like bathrooms etc but was very clean and for the location very quiet!. Location is awesome given it is a 12-15 min walk to St Peter Station (so about 35-40 mins to get into the CBD) and only a 5 min drive to the M5 so quick to get out west. Wedged in between a McDonalds and KFC means for over night stays food is easy to come by and there is a Woolworths 2 mins drive down the road for longer visits. If you aren't precious about your room fittings and need a place to stay for a couple of nights this is a very good option.
it's clean It's a place to put your head down it's not meant to be a room where you can hold meetings unless they can be held on a generously sized bed that is clean. The $9 pp breakfast should see you through to a late lunch very well. Basic but healthy Close to airport, close to the city. Close to the heart of the budget traveller. For the price in a major city, you won't do better
Very bad experience. Fisrt time i traveled with my family who came from overseas. Very very bad impression. Toilets are like a train toilets. No sink in toilet? ?? You have to walk next to your bed to wash your hand ????
Hi, I am rather disappointed when I was told that you are only entitled to 1 cup of coffee with your breakfast. As a special favour I was given 1 more cup. OH hoorah, Ha.......Ha. Having worked with a Japanese International Telecommunication company for most of my working carrier......I learned TQM, ie: 1. Quality Product, 2 Customer Satisfaction/Service, 3. Product Support. I had a look in my room and could find any documentation or the like regarding my breakfast allowance. Hence I am NOT too happy with your employees comments. By the way I am staying at the Dandenong Motel (Vic). Well as you would say: Do it right the FIRST time. Have a nice day !!!!! I must try your competitors and see if what happens in this situation. Everything clean, everything worked. The only issue was I booked online with my credit card details. At another one of the properties I have stayed at a number of times, the credit card payment went through, and there was no payment required at the hotel. This time the payment was not taken online, but I had a reservation and paid at the hotel. Not a big deal but some consistency would be good.
This accommodation is very basic, slightly uncomfortable as there is no sitting furniture in rooms (like a lounge chair). Rooms are only moderately clean (they are not filthy, but they could spend more time making them cleaner). Staff unfortunately are not happy and cheerful, so don't expect them to greet you like your a guest at their home. Compared to prices of other accommodation near by the Ibis St Peters is cheaper by 30-50% per night so you get what you pay for basically (a bed to sleep in).
Clean and tidy. Easy Check in and Out. Free Parking. Close to airport. Keen price. Don't take more than an overnight bag there's nowhere to stow it. Otherwise good value. Shower awkward for large people. Big step up for short people. Shower wets toilet floor.
The rooms are very basic and small, however clean and comfortable. The location is easy to find along the Princess Highway. The staff on duty during our stay were friendly, willing to chat and made us feel at home.
This accomodation was what you would expect for the money you pay. The bathroom was small and and compact. The room was suitable for two people. There was a small balcony that you could go out on but not much of a view.
The St Peters hotel is conveniently located with good access to the city. It is nice that the Ibis Budget chain has had a bit of a revamp now having a mini fridge and coffee making facilities in the room.
Served the purpose of our needs. Just a short stay in the city. Clean bed, shower & facilities. Reception staff were Pleasant. Close enough to the city with a short taxi ride. Would definitely use hotel again.
I found this hotel all I expected reasonably priced, comfortable bed, shower, wc, wi fi tea coffee making facilities provided. Adjacent fast food outlets, restaurants in walking distance with good public transport links to airport and rest of Sydney. All as I expected for a budget hotel. No complaints
Room was great for the price, small bathroom which had mould in all the joins, otherwise clean.Bed was very comfortable and nice sheets . Room was very quiet considering it was on princes highway, its right next door to KFC.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and were very happy with the service provided. Staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel is located closed to bus stop and within walking distance to St Peters train station and it is very easy to get to the city and Newtown by bus.
Great value for your $$ & a big improvement with the addition of a small 'fridge in the room. Good location for either city or airport visit with public transport right outside the door. Southern Cross hotel is 400 mtrs away for a good meal or KFC 7 McDonalds either side of the hotel .
