A budget hotel. Very small room, no chair or table, no soap, no shampoo, had to rent the hairdryer. No spare blanket (so I used the towels). Very noisy. Over priced for what you get. Bed was okay, room was clean.

This is a budget hotel that is close to Olympic Park and the inner west with car parking right at the door. The rooms have everything needed and are very comfortable. There are a number of places to eat nearby- just a walk across the car park. Most importantly, the staff are fantastic- they do everything possible to make your stay the best possible and to make you feel welcome. Five star service.

Good stay and have stayed there now quite a few times. The hotel is clean and quite, comfortable and a great place to rest up and revive after a hard day before starting the next, Very nice pleasant staff and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very good hotel with good customer service. Very good for the price the only disadvantage is that to get to the city centre you need to catch 2 modes of transport (a bus and a train). Otherwise I had a very pleasant stay.

I regularly stay here for work. It's always clean and cheerful. The upgrade from the old formule1 is excellent. You wouldn't know it was the same joint. The reconfigured rooms have USB charging outlets. Better ergonomics for the desk and TV. Stylish decor for a budget motel. Apart from the "classic" formule1 modular bathrooms you wouldn't know it was a budget motel.

Rooms are small, but you mainly need the room to sleep. It has several eateries nearby and a Petrol Station. Right on the bus stop with an overhead walkway to cross the road. Bus runs approx. 20 mins apart and 10 mins to Strathfield Station. Plenty of car parking and I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I will stay there again. I felt safe.

Clean, bare minimum rooms, fit for purpose hotel. Will stay again. Free carpark and 4 of the big take-aways' at the doorstep. Only slept there, perfect for this purpose. If you want something more romantic-wouldn't fit the purpose.

Small rooms, just for sleeping. Strange having 1 Queen and 1 overhead bunk - family of 3??? Beds were comfortable, but beds were made sporadically. Bathroom is tight, with fixed low set shower heads making it difficult for taller guest. Toilet paper wasn't changed yet bath towels were??

A good budget price place to stay. Reasonably close to Sydney Olympic Park and a good place to stay when Ibis Budget Olympic Park has ridiculously high prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For some reason Accor tries to price themselves out of the market of parents and kids competing in school athletics just across the road at Olympic Park Shame!

Just what I was after. Convenient, clean, compact and comfortable (particularly the queen bed). Excellent value for money. The rooms are understandably small, but everything worked and I was able to have a great sleep before my early morning work commitment.

We booked in for 2 nights in a king bed but unfortunately the first night we were given a queen bed. Talking to the lovely lady (I believe to be the manager) at the front desk the next morning everything was sorted out. For us the location was perfect for what we had to do. I would stay there again no problems..

So this is a budget motel. You expect the barest necessities. Ibis Budget Enfield / Strathfield South feels a bit more like a modern prison than a motel room but what I have found over the years is when you turn out the lights to sleep they all look the same. That being said, the place was clean and relatively warm. There was also an air conditioner that worked if you didn't like the air. The bed was relatively comfortable, there was enough toweling and bedding and I did get a great night's sleep and get back on the road without parting with too much cash. The door locked, the toilet worked fine. My only real issue was the shower. It was a good size cubicle and the hot water was hot and pressure was great and I was starting to think I was about to have an amazing shower when I realised that the head of the shower was broken. It spurted water upwards and sideways as well as from the usual jets, you couldn't angle it so it was always facing mostly downwards and if you turned it up too high the whole head fell off into the shower (or onto you). When I reported it to the cleaner in the morning she said "yes I know I have already told him (the manager) about it". So it begs the question. If management knew that it had a critical fault, why did they rent out that room at all or why didn't they warn me and offer a further discounted rate so they could fill the room while still keeping the customer happy. After a day on the road, or at work, all I want is a good shower and a safe clean bed and Ibis Enfield came >.< this close to meeting that requirement but managed to drop the ball through poor management. I hope this improves because otherwise it seems like a fine enough place to crash. I'd give it another go.

My family and myself (2 adults and 2 kids) have been staying here for the past few years and enjoy staying here. The rooms may not be huge but as we only stay here at night time it's a great place to stay. Love the location as we attend a lot of stuff at Sydney Olympic Park. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Dirty, noisy and uncomfortable. Hairs in my bed from previous guests. Wake up call at 02:20 from the refuse truck collecting rubbish. No towels unless specially requested from reception. I will not recommend this establishment at all.

We had a last minute booking and still got a very good rate ($90) with free parking. For a city like Sydney you couldn't expect more for that price tag. But all the good things stopped above, what's the downside? - No free WIFI is understandable for a budget hotel, but the paid WIFI is priced crazy and no one would ever consider to use it. - The mattress was so bad and tough and I developed significant back pain during my 4 nights stay there - No one collected the used towels, just give two new towels every day. So we ended up with 8 towels last day. - Tiny bathroom that you can hardly not to mess it up. With smell from drainage. I've stayed at Ibis Budget before in Europe and it was a touch better than my experiences in Sydney.
