We stayed here overnight on our way to Vienna from Dunkirk. It is a very short drive off the autobahn and tucked away by an industrial estate. There are trees and shrubs planted around the perimeter to obscure the view of the estate and road, so the location is really not as bad as it sounds! Like all Ibis budget hotels, it is clean, low priced and - efficient is probably the best word. We like them as they are good value and reliable, comfortable and safe - my wife can get a bit nervous in hotels and very security conscious, but she is happy in the Ibis chain. There is a lot of parking as you'd expect, and the small staff are friendly, efficient and helpful - which seems to be the theme across all of the Ibises. Breakfast is - as always, a decent buffet and I'd be surprised if anyone could complain about it. There is a good selction of foods and they are of good quality. The only complaint I'd make - and it seems common to all of the Ibis budget hotels, is the lack of a lift. If you are on the top floor (there are only 3 including ground) carrying a heavy bag up to your room is a distinct chore! If this would be a difficulty for you, I'd suggest trying to book a ground floor room in advance. Other than that, we were both happy with our overnight stay here and will include it in future as a stop on the way to Vienna - but I may try to book a ground floor room - I'm not getting any younger!
