the hotel is located on outskirts of Dresden, loads of parking space around. Basic but clean. The annoying bit was the attitude of night receptionist who not only spoke no English but also tried physical contact (keeping his hand on my shoulder) and insisted on closely watching the PIN pad when I was entering my credit card credentials. I felt his rotten breath long after and decided to change my PIN number with my bank.

The staff has been great, but the hotel is a bit outdated. The shower, rooms and breakfast are still from the old concept (1 plastic box for toilett and shower), small breakfast only. But great for family stays, and very friendly employees!

The hotel was good in every way. Reception was most helpful and the room were very good,as always with ibis. The ability to fill a coffee flask for a small price helps a lot with the onward journey. The downside is how difficult it was to find My sat nav took me within 500 metres but the hotel is hidden behind a petrol station.

Good access from the highway (south-west from Dresden). Parking places for all clients (fee). Very helpful staff. Good choice and quality of food for breakfast. Price /quality is very good. Thank you very much!

clean room, clean linen, clean bathroom. Previous visit was not so perfect ( this was second visit) due to slightly stinking bathroom, but we commented on this during the next reservation, and we did not face this problem again. Breakfast was healthy, fresh and sumptuous. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel was well maintained and clean. I cannot really think of any serious negative points. The quality you get here for the price we paid (euro 40 for family of 3 for 1 night) is very good. Will overnight again without doubt. Have saved the address in our gps :-)

The main attraction of this hotel is its location. Near a road ring, there is fast access to Dresden and also to other cities in the region. There is also some restaurants and stores nearby. Public transportation is poor in the neighborhood. The 3 floor building without elevators can be hard when carrying heavy luggage.

Cheap hotel in 15min driving from city center. Nice beds and rooms except toilets. Bathrooms are looks like spaceships toilet+spa. When you showering - toilet and toilet floor is covered with a water and you have to use window cleaning brush to remove that water from floor before you leave shower. Except that - everyting is fine.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was that the shower cubicle had a strange smell. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice - bread, rolls, cheese and cold meats. Cereal, yoghurt, eggs and probably a lot more! There was a good selection of hot or cold drinks too.

Like all Ibis budget hotels, fine for an overnight stop. Clean, comfortable and free internet. The new style rooms feel more spacious - I was in one with twin beds. The hotel in Kesselsdorf is about 12km out of Dresden but easy enough to find with satnav and quiet. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away and a few restaurants in walking distance.

Although it was Ibis Budget hotel, I must say that the quality/price ratio was very very high. We were surprised by the quality of the room, number of parking places. It was also quite easy to find this hotel although it is not in the city centre. These are the pros. And what are the cons?: breakfast - nothing warm but in general it was tasty. basin next to the window - controversial. access to the room via a 6 digit code - not the best way - there were moments I had to try a few times before entering the room. But the overall note despite a few cons is really good. Nothing cheaper form Accor in the surrounding area.

As with most of the ibis hotels we have stayed at the staff were good, helpful and efficient. This hotel is on an industrial estate but because of the location you only see a rural aspect. We went into Dresden from here and it was, thanks to the reception staff, so simple. A wonderful city well worth a day to take in all the various points of interest. We went into the city by tram, cost €2.40, well worth it.

Came very late. Easy check-in. (Automat). Luckily I had the reservation code. Very clean. Easy check-out. Breakfast as expected for €6. Free parking a hugh benefit. Could be a little bit better signed from mainroad. Didn't get connected to my loyalty card even when order on the Accorhotels.com.

We have stayed at several of the Ibis Budget hotels and love them and this one was no exception. It was clean, the staff friendly, and as always, the right price. Breakfast was fresh and the dining area clean.

Stayed for one night with family. Cruising the German Autobahn, we got stuck in a jam at 9 pm. You think four lanes is a lot? Not when you need to fix an itsy-bitsy hole in the middle one. So, an hour late we got to the hotel and… were in beds after ten minutes thanks to the automatic reception desk. Ok, it isn’t that easy to find being hidden away in the industrial part of Kesselsdorf but would you risk travelling by car without a GPS? Oh, and there’s no lift if you’re located upstairs. Bonuses? Quiet, clean, great beds and close to Zauckerode, with its open swimming pool and Café Positano (great breakfast). Plus, if you’re continuing to Dresden, choose the short route rather than the motorway and enjoy a spectacular view of the city.

The hotel was the standard etap formula, clean, comfortable, no frills, fairly basic shower and toilet but all you really need for an overnight stop - and at a good price. A real bonus is the pub / restaurant with garden a short 8 minute walk away. We had an excellent meal and even the driver could enjoy a few beers (walking distance from the hotel). Prices there are cheap by UK standards - €2,50 for a 0,5 litre beer, about €6 for main courses.

The Ibis Budget Hotel Kesselsdorf is ideal for people, who are travelling by car. The location is near the highway, but it is so silent at night. For a night it is okay to rest. The room is neat. Per night for a person was 29 EUR and this was remarkably ok for its quality. Would suggest this hotel for young couples or singles who are intending to get a rest before continuing to drive further. Moreover, the hotel lies 20 mins away by car from the beautiful city of Dresden. For spontaneous visit, come to Ibis Budget Hotel Kesselsdorf. Disadvantage is that the bed above makes the room smaller and sleeping inconvenient.

Decent place-nothing to be excited about but no really dissappointments also. We had not expected dogs barking all around, but they became quite after 9PM so it was not really a problem. No public transport to Dresden available in near neigbourhood though, but if you stay in Etap (Ibis Budget now) you should always count on you car...

Great stopover place with affordably priced breakfast. A designated bus parking area would be great though. At the same time I have to tell, that this is the last rewiew I'm writing unless you lower the minimum number of characters needed from 200 to 50 to submit a rewiew. I don't mind writing one, if it doesn't take too long. As you can see, I'm otherwise happy with the hotel. Many thanks!
