The gentleman at the reception was very professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. The location was close to the metro. The McDonald's next to the hotel was also very convenient for us.

Ibis Budget Paris Porte de Vanves is located on a calm area yet very close to the busy Paris and main attraction. Metro station and taxi services are also close. Breakfast is very light, the hotel is very welcoming and quite. We had a nice stay

The place is nice, 5 minutes from the Metro and on top of a McDonald. New building and nice rooms. We were 3 in the room, and had trouble in getting 3 towels the first evening (only 2 in the room). After 2 nights, cleaning services removed towels and only left one towel, and despite promises from reception of quick delivery of 2 more towels, nothing happened. Next afternoon cleaning services had removed sheets from the 3rd bed, and not left new ones. Once more down to reception, receiving apologies about the missing towels the evening before ("Yes, I remember, I did not get around to it") and a new promise of delivery of sheets. This time I stayed with the guy until I got them, not to be forgotten again. Apart from sloppy cleaning services and poor follow up from reception, we had a good stay. But we spent annoying time going back and forth to reception. PS: a tourist book in reception gives good advice on sights to see. One error though: if you are going to Versailles, you have a direct train from the SNCF station 600 m due south (pass the Metro station and go on for another 500 m)

Positive Points: Nice Hotel. Great breakfast. Great location. Near the subway with a beautiful garden and children playground on the way. Nice neighbourhood. Less positive points: The cleaning staff and the reception staff weren't well coordinated. For the first 3 days we didn't have the correct number of towels and we had to ask for them, at the reception desk, each day. There were no toilette brush, although we didn't report it. Also, one night the sheets of the bunk bed were removed (and my son's pyjamas hanging elsewhere) which didn't make any sense, since we knew the cleaning staff don't make the bunk bed. In this situation we asked for it and the reception lady wasn't very friendly, specially because she didn't speak english, which was something we have noticed with at least 3 members of the reception staff, thus hindering the communication. Other than that we actually enjoyed the place and recommend it, but hope for an improved service.

Good location. Not far from downtown Paris, plus metro station nearby. Comfortable. Breakfast was good/reasonable. We regret not being alerted - in advance - that parking would not be available during our stay. We however managed to find parking on the street, close to the hotel, as the Ibis Hotel nearby did not have parking available for us. Thus, a small hiccup.

Staying at Ibis Budget Hotel at Porte de Vanves was a indeed a very memorable one. I slept very well, and had a restful night after a very tiring days roaming around Paris. Everything was ok, it is very clean, orderly, simple but worth staying. The food was just fair. I love coming back to this hotel again. I had only one negative concern/request: the hotel should provide an adaptor to use for charging mobile phones. As there was no availbale then, the staff requested me to buy my own from their store. But overall, my stay was almost perfect. Thank you Ibis Budget Hotel porte de Vanves!!....

as per our trip, the service of ibis budget paris porte de vanves is very good, helpful staff and overall our stay in this hotel was memorable. as far as during our visit to paris the problem which we have faced that language and near by shop even does not the meaning of birthday cake.

Very clean hotel, newly refurbished, with friendly staff located in a peaceful suburb just south of the inner peripheral boulevard. Be prepared for European-sized rooms (read: small) but well equipped and functional. Try to book street-side vs. railroad-side as train frequency in France is high throughout the evening and early morning. Buffet breakfast is a good deal at little more than the cost of 2 coffees in most bistros. Neighborhood is quiet and safe with good accommodations close by (supermarket with very good wine and beer selection) and an excellent Italian restaurant 2 blocks away (Il Giardino) open on Sundays. Room has 1 chair and work shelf/table but lacks an extra chair and table to sip wine and snack after a day of sightseeing. Free Wifi is good enough for Skype calls and easy to connect. Subway (Metro) is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and a, very busy, Macdonalds is right next door (hint: the hotel coffee machine is a better deal than Mac). Hair dryer is available at front desk but requires a 10 euro refundable deposit. All in all, a very conveniently located and affordable hotel within easy reach of Downtown Paris makes it a great deal.

If on a budget, I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are simple but spotless. The tube is round the corner and the Champs Elysees 15 minutes away.

Clean, well run Ibis Budget, within easy walking distance of Malakoff Plateau de Vanves metro station on line 13 which runs direct to the Champs Élysées. There is limited underground parking with a height restriction. On street car parking is free in August and at night but it took us some time to work that out.

Allocated an occupied room. Kept waiting whilst receptionist checked rooms to see if they were empty or not. No coffee or hot drinks at breakfast. Room facilities missing. Room didn't look finished, no towel rail or toilet roll holder in bathroom. Not such a budget price any more!
