Floor and bathroom realy dirty, big room. I Will never back in one Íbis hotel amainar. When i arrive have to go in a supermarket and buy bleach and put in the bathroom for i can use.My travel is realy bad and my wife is so upsed because That.
If you have nowhere else to stay then this is an ok option but there's not much to expect and the hotel is overall very basic, you can get better deals at similar/same prices if you look at a random booking site. Bed and the room is fine, very nice lighting, the bathroom however really lacks proper cleaning and the bathtub curtains are missing so it can get pretty wet
The hotel could be nice and good if the boss of the hotel won't insists to keep at work who hates others than his religion! I'm a client of the hotel over 10 y but this person makes me thinking to change the hotel!
Room dirty, especially the bathroom and the third bed. There was hair everywhere and a terrible smell of cigarettes. Not a very welcoming reception. Staff rude and unpleasant. While it may be conveniently located near a metro station and a supermarket, the location is horrendous. Not a safe location at all.
I do not know what Ibis understand for budget, but they can't call it a hotel! Dirty, smelly (cigarettes and sweat bed sheet), also cold, no heating working at all, poor variate of food for breakfast.
We were coming from Stuttgart by bus, and Bus dropped us at Gallieni. So hotel was by walking from there. We did early checkin and we stayed there for one night. Room was good and clean. And overall, I want to give 4 star. We had a good time there.
I had to wait 15 minutes for the lady at the reception to check in. She was trying to find a solution for people blocked in the lift. She was nice The securuty guide is not doing his job. There was a drunken guy around the reception commenting on everything. He was not a customer. He was not aggressive but he had nothing to do inside the hotel The surroundings are scary at night. and very dirty. The room needs urgent repairs and some sound isolation. Breakfast is ok and at a very competitive price as in all Ibis budget hotels. Go to Ibis Budget Porte d'Orleans : everything there is much much better
We chose this hotel as a stop over for a longer journey we were making. I suppose you pay for what you get but the room was dirty and unclean and you heard every noise from every room close by. You could smell that some guests smoking in their rooms. Not a pleasant stay.
The Staff was very goog and friendly. The room (number 520) is noisy and has moisture in the bathroom walls. We did not take any breackfast. Location is goog. Near to Gallieni station (Metro number 3).
I stayed in this hotel from 5th to 7th february...booked 2 rooms for 6 of us. It was my sixth stay in this hotel in pass 8 years, so I can be pretty objective in evaluation of this hotel. So, first of all, it was cleaner - before! Both of our rooms had more than 'just a couple' hair balls on the floor. On the walls there was a black spots from cigarettes, and there was also 'aftertaste' in the air from them, from cigarettes. Shower wasn't either in good condition - water was dripping all over the place! But beds and sheets was ok and clean! Reception staff was very nice and smiling all the time. So, at the end, I can say that I remember this hotel from past in much, much better condition! I WILL probably stay there AGAIN, and for sure will it recomend to my friends as a good ratio of money you spent and what you get!
I stayed in this hotel with my family, 2 adults and 2 children. The family room was big enough for the 4 of us. The interior was very clean and breakfast was also very good. On the minus side, the environment outside was not clean and there was the smell of urine outside. We came in with the bus and were told that the elevator was not working so we were asked to carry our luggage up the stairs form the ibis downstairs.
Stayed 4 nights at the family room (1 double + 2 single bed), the plus : comfy beds and good size room (2 rooms) as there was no picture on the site or web. Large bathroom, not like the regular 3 beds bedroom. Nice location (50m) from a commercial center where you can find food and stores, a large suparmarket (Auchan) and 60m from a subway station. Booked there as i knew already these facilities. the minus : room and bathroom are dated, the corridor smells smoke, fortunately the room not. Make sure to ask for a non-smoking room if this is an important criteria. We come from Canada where mostly all public areas (restaurant, bus, hotels...) are smoking free and forget to mention it. If budget allow, try the sister company ibis (2stars) on the same building but much more comfortable. Staff were very helpful to guide us and allow us to use their phone as our luggage on our way to Paris was delayed by air company
Arrived at hotel, got located our room, went in and was absolutely disgusted!! Very dirty and what was worse is that we had something horrid on our door handle. Ended up booking rooms at another hotel!
Room larger than expected for a 'cocoon' room but beds ROCK hard. There's no air con and you can't open the windows as the family rooms all face on to the main periphique with traffic going by all night, horns papping etc. If you stay in the summer, where the temps are 30-odd degrees at night, I would choose the red IBIS next door where there is air con. It will be worth the extra few pounds.
Not a bad place to stay but no air con when we were there in july when paris was really hot day and night time even with the window open 6 inches the max we were allowed to open it.The staff were good but like most of paris English is not spoken by many so can cause a problem if you don't speak French when asking for help etc etc
Value for money hotel, suitable for a family with 2 kids, clean with good breakfast, located near the metro. Great choice if you just need a bed with TV, breakfast and a bathroom. A small fridge would have been a great addition though.
They didn't provide the bathroom towel, so every time after shower, I have to walk carefully as it might slippery. Wifi connection is not strong enough but is acceptable. Overall stay is satisfied....
Once you get used to the hotel layout and the car parking arrangements, which are quite complicated it is a good hotel. We arrived late evening , just after three coach loads of school children had arrived, which made matters worse. Whilst you are there, use the underground hotel car park, although there is a charge, it is better than getting your car broken into,as ours was. It is a bit of a rough area, but is generally safe, and the metro station is only about 300 yrds. away, with a shopping mall & supermarket almost next door.
Very poor rooms, no outlow of water in the sink. Dirty walls everywhere, the whole hotel should be closed and renovated. Staff was nice but didn't help in some issues. Price is fair but still value not sufficient.
The standart Ibis budget hotel. The location is great - very close to a metro station and city and international bus stations. The centre of Paris is about 20 minutes away by the metro. There is a big commercial centre nearby, with a hypermarket, restaurants and shops. I recommend this hotel because of the ration price/quality.
