I chose that hotel for its location, that is very good. But the room was so small that there was no space to open our luggage!! And there was just 1 towel in the bathroom for face, feet and everything else! Breakfast was very poor and you also have to pay to leave your luggage after check out before the plane. Staff don't understand english very well.

A good central budget hotel, perfect for a short stay to tour the city, for solo travellers and for youths. Location is good since Bordeaux is a small city easily toured by foot. Travelling with public transport is also possible with a nearby tram stop. Breakfast is limited but good for the price.

my stay at ibis budget hotel was very good, giving the fact that I had chosen a quite basic hotel. It's really good for who doesn't look for fancy place but a peaceful and simple place where to spend night. The hotel is quite new I guess, everything was working and clean, you get to have towels, shampoo and soap (no hoover) and the staff was kind. I've walked to the hotel, I needed 30/40 min to reach there.

You have to pay for parking - no direct directions to the parking area, we ended up parking in a public car park which was closer 18euros for 24 hours! the room was so small you had to squeeze around the bed to get to the bathroom. Other guests on the same floor were smoking marajuana - the smell of smoke was everywhere - very unpleasant. lots of noisey guests too. Really bad nights sleep!

Although this hotel is perfectly situated next to the A10 it is not up to usual IBIS standard and although there was a new bathroom fitted i was very dissapointed in overall standard, and i had booked breakfast it was not listed on hotels computer

Very good location, near to the city center. The hotel is near to the tramway station. The room is quite small while it's acceptable for one night stay. You also have microwave if you want to prepare your own diner.

The location was fantastic and very close to the tram. We were told that the underground parking in the hotel was very tight and advised to park on the street which we did and was free as it was over a weekend. The room however was much smaller than the photographs suggested, the air-conditioning was inadequate even in October which made the room unbearably hot. The decor as old and tired and we were on the inside of the hotel which had very little natural daylight and now breeze

The location of the hotel is excellent for public transport, it is on the bus route between the main railway station and the airport. The tram stop is very close and the very frequent tram service will take you into cetnral Bordeaux very quickly. There is also a city cycle docking station nearby. The hotel itself is very good value for the price paid. The rooms although quite small are adequate and the breakfast offering is very good for the price (fresh croissants and good coffee). The only downside was the lack of seating at peak breakfast time. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Close to all the attractions in the city. Very friendly staff and despite the renovation work going on, there was no impact on our stay. A good breakfast. We didn't use the bistro next door but it was busy and the menu looked good value for money.

Ibis Budget Bordeaux Centre Meriadeck is near the Hotel De Ville, St Andre Cathedral, Palais de Justice, and Musee de Beaux Arts. One can reach the airport or Bordeaux SNCF train station via bus or tram at the Palais de Justice stop. Like other branches of this chain, the hotel provides quick check in, daily cleaning, strong wifi signal, efficiently designed rooms, satellite TV with foreign channels, and guest elevators. The reception staff provided a map of the Bordeaux with recommendations. They are helpful with settling the bill and prompt check out. Nearby the hotel, guests can find cafes, restaurants, retail shopping, fast food, and slow food. The hotel is within walking distance of the river, Place de la Bourse, Grand Theatre, Esplanade de Quinconces, and Place Gambetta. These can also be reached by Tram B and Tram C.

It was good value for money. The room was small but clean and bright with a large comfy bed. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day. It was very quiet. The breakfast was good with wide range of food and sufficient amount. The staff was friendly. The hotel was in walking distance to town.

Good choice for the families, not expensive, breakfast contains everything necessary, perfect location, close to the center ( you can easily reach the main sightseeings on foot), rather quiet rooms and welcoming personnel.

The hotel was very clean. Service was Average, Location was very perfect, The rooms were clean. Value of the hotel was good. The breakfast was oke. The opening hours of the restuarant was to tied. Their was not enough taxi s,

Not clean. Hair on the floor, air conditioning machine seems like abandoned, bathroom floor not too clean, shower sink broken. Very thin pilows, not enough plugs. Worth to go to red ibis instead of blue ibis for this amount.

The rooms are clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Best value for the price! The beds are a bit too firm for my taste but all necessities ae there. The breakfast is a good value. I would recommend this for anone traveling on a budget.

Although is a world class city, it doesn't quit have "Paris" status yet. However, the city seems to want to cash in on the tourists. For circa 62 euros a night, you get a double bed in a big walk-in closet. That is, you aren't getting much and the price appears to artificially inflated to cash in on helpless tourists who need a place to stay. Instead, I recommend staying at a hotel further out from the city center but neat the tram lines. You'll save money this way also the 7 day unlimited all-inclusive bus, tram, boat is only 13 euros. Ergo, buy this 7 day pass and save your money. The trans run every 5 minutes so the wait isn't long.

The staff were very helpful. The room however was weird. Uncomfortable mattress, awkward shower right next to the bed and toilet tinier than the one in an airplane. It was so uncomfortable my friend and I upgraded to Ibis and cancelled the Ibis budget without even staying a night.

Pro 1. Tram and bus station is a few minutes away 2. Carrefour supermarket is across the street for essentials 3. Room is cleaned every day 4. Most places of interests are all nearby 5. Staff tries their best to accommodates our requests and friendly Cons 1. Room is super small. No space to place suitcases especially if two persons sharing a double room. Have to push suitcases under the bed. 2. There are a lot of mosquitoes flying into the room buzzing in our ears all night. Room was stuffy therefore had to open the window as the air conditioning is controlled by the hotel. At that time the air conditioning only spews warm air when switched on 3. The hotel is near to a hospital and it's very noisy with ambulance sirens all day. 4. Delivery trucks disrupts sleep as they come around 4-5 am. 5. There is no kettle or hair dryer in the room. Hair dryer had to be requested from front desk. And it's limited supply. We only managed to get one on the third day of our stay. 6. Had to pay for them to store your luggages. Stay only if you have nowhere else to go.

Perfect location to visit Bordeaux. Good hotel parking rate but street parking free at night and weekends. Very clean. Sometimes noisy but you are in the centre so cannot expect a silent night! Only downside was the size of the room and the very poor quality of towels. We have stayed in many ibis budgets over the years across France and have never been in such a tiny room. So would be worth booking a triple room for double occupancy if using this hotel.

Extremely small room that our suitcase didn't find it's way in. We had to lift it up and place it on the bed. Could not even walk around the bed. Also very noisy in the corridor at night and early morning. We have been before in this type of Hotel but this is really the smallest ever and ugliest. Need some renovation (&some friendly staff at reception). On the other hand the Ibis on the other side was much more clean and friendly reception! Quite high rate for the parking for hotel guests.
