Beds where dirty, they gave us another room but wouldn upgrade us to ibis red. Sexnoises came out of different rooms. Cleaningservice didnt clean the topbed after first night. Bad service at loby, can't talk english and won't even try to understand. Im comin back to rouen but never to ibis in Rouen again.

We often stay here either to or from our destination in France. We also have our dog with us so not looking for anywhere too fancy. The hotel is curently deteriorating, not enough for us to seek elsewhere but enough to cause concern. For several years now the automated check-in was broken, but you could go to the reception in the non budget section next door. This time the code entry was broken, so required a traipse around the building to gain access. The shower / loos in the room are slightly moldy and the additional security looks all seem to have been removed. We never have breakfast there as it just seems too plasticky compared with nearby offerings, including a MacDonalds. There is a good restaurant next door, which we try to use each stay. We will continue to use the hotel but would really like the management to spend a little effort to restore standards.

Ibis Budget entrance not accessible. Had to book in via Ibis. The non smoking room, 212 we were first given was SO strongly smelling of smoke it was uninhabitable. The fact that it was offered to friends on our return 5 weeks later, and still smelled appalling. .. shows a continuing unresolved problem. The alternative rooms offered were fully acceptable, but not encountered this problem ever before hence why it is mentioned here, twice in 2 stays! Had we booked in online wold the change of room be possible....?

Overall our stay was pleasant. The one criticism was the poor quality of the pillows. The hairdryer was very noisy and this was a problem when the adjoining room used theirs during the late evening as it disturbed our sleep.

Easy to find. Easy to park. Welcomed with a smile. Clean and as advertised.. Dog friendly. Some noise during the night. Great value for money and you get what you pay for. Will use IBIS Budget again for similar trips.

VERY LOUD MUSIC AND LOUD GIRL HAVING LOUD SREAMING SEX IN ROOM OPPOSITE,Not much sleep for us!!!No sign of any staff to come and rectify the problem,I had to knock on door and ask for music to be turned down.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, recently renovated room. Huge corner mirror over sink in bedroom but toilet and shower in old style 'pod'. I believe this was an old Etap hotel. Comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Very good selection for breakfast. Vouchers available for reductions at the nearby Courtpaille.

Great Value & Service, Only thing that let it down was the presence of an ants nest next to the breakfast Buffet area, but that should be easily dealt with, And a non working remote for the television.

I like Ibis BUdget hotels as they give you a decent room with all you need for a sensible price. However, this one is not a good one. The hotel is well located and the staff were nice but the problem is the deisgn of this building. The doors to the rooms are 'metal'? and don't seal properly so you can hear everything going on outside and up and down the corridor. Whats worse is the doors slam very noisily and this is not great when people are leaving early and you are trying to sleep. The hotel needs re-fitting like the Ibis Budget at Merignac where the doors soft close and have seals to stop outside noice getting in.

Great stop over and clean fresh looking rooms, shower rooms were only downfall in the room, not very fresh and lime scale up all the sides and no shower curtain Entry confirmation wasn't straight forward, would not recognise the payment card used so had to go next door to ibis to confirm booking. Breakfast on first stop over was excellent value for money and very fresh and constant replenishment but on the return stop over is was appalling , a man who had NO idea what he was doing, ran out of everything on the counter and we had to keep asking for stuff, we were guessing that the usual staff member was absent but this was no excuse when you have paid for something. Ececellent location for the A13 motorway and plenty of places to eat close by.. Beds were a bit hard and only ONE pillow on each bed

We stayed overnight when visiting Rouen and found Budget IBIS to be clean and comfortable with the staff very accommodating. The downside to this particular location is the parking - we had to "make a space" along with others. The staff at the hotel acknowledged that the parking is an issue but were very understanding about it.

We arrived at 11:30pm having pre-booked and pre-paid for two rooms. We entered our details in the machine and it gave us codes to our rooms which did not work. We eventually got in one room but not the other. After ringing the hotel number given (answer phone) and searching the Ibis budget we could find no-one. I finally found someone on reception at the next door Ibis who found a key and came and opened our room. However the room had not been cleaned or made up and had dirty sheets and towels in a pile on the bed. Not happy.

Stayed here twice in a week overnight on route to and from our holiday destination. Excellent value for money even having 2 rooms as we are a family of 5. Rooms are basic but clean and beds are very comfortable. Toilet/wetroom gets quite slippery and is tricky with a toddler but shower is powerful. Good location with free parking but trickier to find whilst bridge is closed in Rouen, sat nav keeps trying to direct you to the bridge! We had breakfast on return trip, it was replenished frequently with usual choices of croissants, cereal etc. We werent charged full price for the 3 children so good value but quite expensive at published rate. Have stayed previously and would stay again perfect for an overnight stop and ability to self checkin 24 hours is a bonus.

Good location with good walks for the dog. Reasonable eating facilities in the area. Downside was that there no hotel management or presence resulting in noisy guests not being controlled. Poor nights sleep and no one present to manage. We should have been informed before departure or at the time of booking that this was going to be the case so that we could have made a more informed choice or cancelled our booking. The service that we had based on what we paid means that we will never stay at this hotel ever again. This also has made us question if we should look for an alternative Hotel chain to book with in the future. Not good and needs looking at. Not that clean either and smelled.

The room is a reasonable size but badly laid out. The sink is the other side of the bed from the combined cubical of shower and toilet. There is very little space in this cubical and the water from the shower soaks the toilet. It is not a patch on the Ibis Budget at Rodez.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast. Booked via the internet which was very easy. Great value for one night "stopover" on the way home. Would have liked a couple more pillows, but overall great value for the price.

Travelling with 2 parents and 4 children we took 2 rooms - there are no adjoining rooms with connecting doors but the rooms were very well designed and we had an undisturbed night's sleep before the next day's journey. very nice parks and woodland nearby and also good choice for dinner.

About 2 hours from tunnel. Easy to find and good parking meant this was a great location for a stop on our journey south. Reception staff friendly and helpful with good English (better than my French!). Room was usual etap set up with bunk over. Only gripe was that mattress was like a block of concrete and the toilet was 'moulded' with no seat .. Meant it was clean but a bit too 'budget'. There is a restaurant right next door which did steaks, salads etc

We have stayed here before and find the hotel convenient for our needs. This time the downside was breakfast service and an indiferent receptionist. Normally this has been good when we have travelled as a couple but with my daughter and 19mth old grandson the service in the morning was not acceptable. Firstly we asked for a high chair (in french,we live in france) no we don't have one she said, so I went and got it myself from the toilet where it is stored Yuk!!! The receptionist then spent her time doing paperwork when a busy breakfast service was underway, running out of cups and just about everything else, having to ask for what you wanted, the poor assistant was busy washing up and couldn't cope, or see what was needed in the breakfast room. I hope this is a one off but we are staying there again next month so we shall see. It may be B&B again otherwise.

fine for an overnight stop but wouldn't want to stay for any length of time. Facilities basic. Bed was fairly comfortable. Shower ok but water runs Into the toilet area. A budget hotel at a budget price
