It took half an hour for us to prove that we had reservation! They did not have any record that shows the reservation. The staff did not speak English efficiently and they werenot warm and welcoming at all. The room was not clean and comfortable enough.

We wanted to stay just one night to visit the Christmas Market. This hotel was ideal. Obviously it is a budget hotel so all you get is a bed and a basic shower and toilet,no frills at all.. But it is ideally located to visit the town centre as a tram stop is just across the road. Secure but small car park, but it still had spaces later in the night. By checking in online you get your room code sent to you so you can go straight to your room.

The stuff un polite! The room wasn't cleaned 4days with excuse that 1 missing 1sick! Me as a ibis business card holder made a reservation last nigh online and when I came to pay I was asked hier price and orders to cancel my reservation that I made online! When I asked whi I was told you don't like it I can refund your money and go to other hotel! The make you feel that that make you a favour that they let you stay in their hotel!

Not the hotel's fault but this was a truly terrible night's sleep as the occupants of the room 2 doors down were so noisy right through into the early hours. We'd driven 12 hours from Rome and needed some sleep! When I finally gave up tossing and turning at 1.30am, I went to get some support from Reception but there was no one to be seen. It took 10 minutes before someone finally came out of the back room and came up with me to tell my selfish neighbours to quieten down. In the morning there was also no one to be seen on Reception or in the breakfast area at 8am so we just left. Quite a contrast from Ibis @ Bresse en Bourge where we had stayed the previous week and got a very friendly farewell from the team as we left.

The room floor needs to be cleaned it was very dirty. The toilet also needed to be better cleaned. Nice staff and in my case nice localisation. Too expensive for a budget hotel even considering the season.

No hot water in January is totally unacceptable. Also turning off the individual heating in bedrooms means that guests return after a long day of meetings to cold rooms which take ages to heat. Floor and bathroom were also not clean this time. On a positive note quality of linens has improved.

I enjoyed a long weekend in Strasbourg. Going to the hotel from the downtown takes 10 minutes only with Tram B. Room is tiny but can easily accommodate a family of two parents and a child using the available two beds.

We stayed two nights in a room which was of quite adequate size and fairly convenient for touring Strasbourg, as a tram stop is right across from the hotel, and takes about 15 minutes to get to the Cathedral area

The hotel is pretty much up to the usual Ibis standard, perhaps a little more tear and wear than normal. It is located very close to the city tram stop - and Strasbourg centre can be reached in less than 10 minutes by tram. The hotel's parking is quite insufficient but a public parking can be found further down the road, only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We had made reservation for 6 nights and had paid up front when we arrived for all 6 nights. We shortened our stay but couldn't get a refund. In stead we were told to send a letter to the hotel with our request to be reimbursed. Time will show whether this works or not, but it seems an unneccesary twist on an otherwise simple procedure. I can add that our dog stayed with us in our room for free - and that's a nice service!

Every time I check into this hotel it takes ages to find my reservation, although I gave a document showing it, a reservation number and I use my Ibis Business card. This time it told at least half an hour and the man at the desk told me my reservation came out as false! I phoned the Accord hotels and the Ibis desk in London, who told me it was active. The hotel doesn't answer any phone calls. Apart from this, the rooms are ok, it is clean etc, good value for the price and close to the European Parliament.

On our journey from Holland to Italy we staid one night in a family roam. The roam was very clean, also the bathroam. There was room enough for the 4 of us. It was not far from the highway and it was easily navigating to the hotel. Of course it's a budget hotel so don't expect luxery, but to rest and eat a good breakfast so you can travel further to Italy we did not have any complains.

The location of this hotel is its greatest asset. Within metres of the tram stop, it was ideal for travelling from the railway station in Strasbourg, to my business destination and back to the station for my return journey. The hotel staff were friendly, informed and non-intrusive. The room had beds enough for a family of four or five. The bathroom was adequate and generally very clean with the exception of the shower which near the base had signs of aged accumulation of soapy residue. Towels were clean and soaps provided. There was a multi-channel television and no problems with wi-fi. The drink and 'snack' machine worked well enough. I liked the numeric keypad access to the room and was pleased that it was close to the lift. It was what it declares itself to be 'Budget'. The Brasserie and the Kyriad hotel restaurant are both opposite the tram stop and good. There is also a pizzeria in the same complex of shops and offices. The only drawback with thin walls was a crying child who had possibly been left to sleep by absent parents.

It was not the first time I booked an Ibis room, and will not be the last. Good room, confortable and clean. That's all. A little bit far from the city center, but ok with a tramway station at 100m. Good value for money

lately arrived, but check-in was perfect. well slept. nice location for my car person. Wifi was good. parking was enough. there are no hair dryer, slipper, tooth brush and paste. only soap. but good!!

Good service, really helpful receptionist. Clean rooms, good soundproofing. On the tram line so really convenient to get into the city. Good value. Needed an extra towel and they should have made up the bunk bed as we had booked for 3.

The room is not clean. There is hair all around the room. There werent no towells in the hotel. I had wait 6 hours for the towells. It was a nightmare. The location is front of the traim station.

Passing by Strasbourg, we stayed there for one night. Ok to stay for limited time, as rooms are quite small (even compared with other similar Ibis hotels) . Do not expect anything special about it, it is just a room with some clean sheets . The + : Clerk is very friendly, willing to help / provide you info about surroundings & town. The - : Shower was not that clean .

This inexpensive hotels is fine. The bed was not super comfortable but OK and there was no shampoo in the bathroom. However, hard to beat the price. Good value for money. Breakfast was also fine value for money.

Not very clean. Very very basic. True it is cheap and the reception staff kindly reminds you through their attitude that one should not expect anything in this budget hotel. Walked into a (big!) toenail on the floor in my room. Front entrance gate was broken, no indication that you should enter the property via the parking entrance. Location (although not the best neighbourhood in Strasbourg) is convenient opposite tram station that brings you easily into the centre or European Parliament.

The room had not been cleaned when we arrived and it was filthy, the door to the room was broken and the service was awful. We were made to feel unwelcome and an inconvenience for requesting a clean room. Eventually we managed to get a room which had been cleaned but the bathroom was dirty, there was no toilet roll provided and the bathroom door did not close. The rooms smelled stale and damp and were generally unpleasant, even those which had been 'cleaned'. We left soon after we arrived and complained afterwards because we could not stay in such a place. I have stayed in cleaner, more pleasant hostels.
