Please let this serve as a warning. I chose to stay at this IBIS due to prior good experiences with the hotel chain. I had made reservation for my group and me (8 rooms for 4 nights). On the day prior to check out, I was notified by one of my group members that his computer and book bag had been stolen from his room during the day. We reported it immediately to the front desk; it was also reported to the police.
So far, only the reception has responded to my emails. They claim to have checked security cameras and report no break in on the room. That is not a surpise since I suspect it is a member of their staff (or a result of staff negligence-example letting someone in the room). I also reported to them that my medicine bag had been gone through though no items appeared missing. I also told them that the do not disburb sign on the room was placed, but the maid still entered (this also happened to my guests). I spent approximately $2800 for 4 nights in this hotel and the management appears to have little concern about making this right. I have yet to speak to manager in person (only emails from the reception desk). On a final note, I have several family and friends that work for major corporations (Coca-Cola and Apple), at this point, my recommendation regarding IBIS will not be positive.
