This hotel is quite close to the castle and there is a small park nearby. A public paying car park is at hand or a private one along the road, for several euros a night. We did not find the usual breakfast buffet as generous as in other Ibis hotels.

Employees really don't like speaking english, so things are pretty difficult to get. The rooms are very tight, no AC, very noisy, and for being called 'low budget', accept huge groups of people, even with short lobby and coffee lounge. The breakfest is ok, just that.

Like all the chain, this hotel was very good value. It is conveniently close to the chateau and centre of town, and has a share of a private secure underground car park. All facilities were clean and adequate ... except that the rooms do not have air conditioning.

Clean rooms ( although wet room with a family not very child friendly) no parking available which meant u secure parking away from hotel with 2 small children. No food, as expected but no help in directing to local eateries ( a direct contrast to Lyon sud who have delivery menus in reception and even called out order in) . Breakfast limited and literally in the reception area. Would not stay again

We arrived at 13.30 and despite the rooms being stated as available from 12.00 we were given one still not ready. The receptionist was arrogant and did not take the guests circumstances into account. Although parking was allegedly available there were only 8 secure spaces available at 7 euros per night, I got the last one. Otherwise it was street parking only which was very difficult. With no forecourt in front of the hotel, it meant a quick deposit of baggage on the pavement. The room was just adequate, but OK for a town centre location at th price paid.

A good location for visiting a delightful city - we were able to book one of the reserved parking places for our 2 night stay - had we not been able to park there life would have been more difficult! The staff were very helpful and our room at the back of the hotel was as quiet as any room was likely to be in such a location.

the hotel is well located near the centre of the small town of BLOIS, very close to the castle. the infrastructure is recent and well maintained. the service is fair and helpful. the experience is positive if related to the budget

The location is convenient. It is walking distance to the castle and there are a few places to eat nearby. Nevertheless, the hotel by itself is not that good... There was no shampoo and in the reception could not facilitate it to us. The room smelled like smoke. I do not recommend this hotel to families...

Comfortable clean well presented hotel and very helpful, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very convenient and well priced for central Blois, only just 3-4 mins walk to town.

A Good budget priced hotel right in the heart of the city with a helpful team of staff. There is limited private parking a short distance away. I have used this brand of hotel many times and this met the standard

Because we were getting in late and leaving early we chose budget hotel and it was OK, but wouldn't want to spend more than one night. Towels were thin but did the job. Walls poorly insulated so you could hear all the other guests' comings and goings. Have to ask front desk for hair dryer. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the Blois castle. Street parking is free between 9pm and 9am.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago when it was an Etap. Then the room was at the front near with a slightly noisy road. But the room was clean, not enough to deter a second booking. The room we were allotted was, to my initial relief, at the back of the hotel. However, this relief was soon tempered by the state of the room. The room was a twin with two single beds. The bathroom: fittings loose - cracked toilet - rubber flooring blackened with shower water - shower hose holder did not move, so spray was directed horizontal from the fitting - small square window propped open with toilet roll, which became soaked when shower was turned on - water from shower went straight out of window with the direction problem! With hearts rapidly sinking, i decided to open the window to see the view. The plastic blind was all torn at the edges. Oh dear! Then the view. A massive tree was growing about 3 feet away and went about 15 feet above our 3rd floor. It felt very claustrophobic. On some ground through the tree was a pile of empty bottles, cans etc. There was no natural light, very gloomy. I went down to the reception to try to change the room, but was basically told all rooms are the same. Same outlook, same condition. I know this is a budget hotel and we should not expect the earth, or indeed a view of The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, but we expected the basics. A clean well maintained room with a view of some natural light. This we most definitely did not receive. We were very disappointed and basically could not wait to leave. By the way, the Ibis Budget Rouen centre Rive Gauche which we stayed in after this one was an absolute delight. Bathroom perfect, room clean, bright room, really helpful and cheerful staff. Restored our spirits!

Parking - Impossible. I asked for a 2.0 metre high space and was told to come to reception desk and they would help me out. They have nothing for these sorts of cars. Receptionist - Very rude, and tried to charge me again and again and again. Rooms - Very small, Towels even smaller, but you get what you pay for! Pay an extra €10 and go to the other IBIS round the corner.

Great location for a trip to Blois. Very close to the old town/shops and restaurants. It's located on a one way system so difficult to stop outside but they give you access to a secure car park for 5Euros. I gave it 4 stars because we had such a nice time - I think some would consider this a bit generous!! Rooms very small (we had a triple). But clean and beds comfortable. En-suite fine - exactly what you'd expect from a Budget Ibis. We didn't bother with breakfast, we felt it was quite expensive for a family of 4 and so stopped at a local boulangerie for pastries etc. Overall, absolutely great for a one night stopover - we were going to the Dordogne and this was halfway from Calais. Blois is a really nice town to visit. Lots to look at, nice restaurants and shops so a very successful stopover.

We stayed in this hotel for one whole week, using Blois as a starting point for visiting the castles and the surrounding region. The room was reasonably sized, we did not get any problem in storing and handling our luggage. It was spotlessly clean. We did not have any breakfast and I cannot comment about that. The hotel is very conveniently located, at a short walk from the castle and at a little bit longer walk to the restaurant zone down the Loire. There are many choices for parking the car, the hotel itself offers a closed parking for 5 euros per night. We used another parking at walking distance. Moreover, there are paying parkings in the surroundings and they are free since 18.30 (or 19.00, I'm not sure) to 9.00 of the following morning. The bathroom is tiny, but nothing dramatic. I would suggest anyway to place a carpet near the shower. This is a budget hotel but this would be a cheap, despite extremely useful, improvement. Equipment of the bathroom is very basic, as expected in relationship with the price. In my opinion the hotel was a little bit overpriced, but actually we stayed in high season. Final note for the personnel, extremely kind and helpful, really nice people. I have given a lower rating to the sleep quality, but just because many guests were quite noisy, this does not depend on the hotel, which was indeed full.

Small room, but with everything you need in it. Cheap and good accomodation. Free parking. Wi-fi woorked perfectly. Very frendly and helpful personnel. Great location. We stayed only for two night, but we have a good impression.

Great location very central, good service, very clean and modern rooms with a good quality of additional budget services - for families travelling on a budget I'd recommend this hotel and this City is small but beautiful.

Receptionist immediately helpful with safe parking of 4 cycles, advice on bars and restaurants , access to internet, posting of cards etc - unfailingly so despite multiple requests from our party of 4 friends with differing needs and ability speaking french. Rooms spacious and windows double glazed so we had all the advantages of a city centre location without the disadvantages of noise. Great breakfast meeting the needs of bottomless calorie needs of cyclists - very good value for money.

I previously stayed in Etap hotels (now called Ibis Budget) many times but never encountered such small room. I thought it's because it's a twin room not a double but all rooms where the same size. Staff was helpful, breakfast was satisfying. If I knew the room will be so small I would book room at ibis Blois Centre Chateau.
