Hotel itself is basic, clean and excellently situated BUT the Accor website sent no booking confirmation, so i ended up booking and paying twice. Complained in person at hotel (didn't want to know) and on Accor site and had no reply! Will book a different hotel in Beaune next time!
Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Easy location to find near motorway exit. Easy to travel into city centre. Breakfast was fine, coffee good. Hotel was quiet at night for a good sleep.
The hotel is ideal if you are crossing France by car and you want to stop over for one night. It is a few minutes away from A6 but not far from the city centre either. Professional receptionist and very clean rooms.
Overall the room was good, although we did have problems entering the Hotel to start with due to the automated reception. Also the air conditioning was not working in our room. However the room itself was clean and comfortable.
close to Highway. We have stayed here several times on our way to or from our house in Montner, Pyrenee Orientale. The distance is fine for us on the way to Denmark. Very nice service every time. Good price. Good restaurants nere by.
We stopped over while driving through France & the hotel is very handy just off the motorway. Nice room, clean and functional, good power shower for budget room, comfy but firm bed. We'd highly recommend stopping here. We had a couple of hours to kill in the morning & went into Beaune which is beautiful with lots of lovely buildings and shops and well worth a stroll around if you have time. A few things could be improved upon - only one pillow each was provided, free wifi was too slow to be any use (0.1Mb) and the the gate code sent by text didn't work until we had been to the lobby to check in (even though we'd 'checked in' online)
Ideal stop over ,excellent value for the money paid .. For a low budget hotel it has many facilities , Most importantly for us is having the privilege of being able to have our dog...parking is a safe and coded compound ....we always use ibis as always guaranteed a set quality ..
Average hotel for one Night. Fair toilet and bath facility. Could be nice if you could be offered hot Water when leaving, so you can make a cup of coffee during you trip further on. Average breakfast.
This did the job perfectly. It's located just off the motorway but out of ear range of it. Slightly odd location in that it's bang next door to the Novotel but otherwise has fields around it, but it is very easy to find, has plenty of parking and a secure gate, which was important for us. The rooms are fine; a comfortable double bed with a bunk over. The bathroom is pod-style so just a basic loo and shower all moulded in plastic so the floor does get really wet when you have a shower but it's not the end of the world. Otherwise, the room is clean and comfortable so no complaints at all for the money. The rooms are accessed by code rather than key so you need to remember it or hold onto the reception printout. You will also need this to access the hotel after reception is closed (8.00 on the Saturday night we stayed) and to get in and out of the car park gate. I noticed quite a few people arriving late and struggling to get into the car park so I sense there may be some issues there. I think you are supposed to enter your reservation number but it didn't look like people were finding it that easy. Food-wise, there is a Novotel next door but we walked a few minutes to the Buffalo Grill across the road; perfect for a cheap family meal after a long day on the road. We'd definitely stay here again.
We've stayed at Ibis hotels many times and been satisfied. But we didn't realise some were budget hotels. The room design here was nowhere near as good as in the standard Ibis hotels. Shower and toilet combined was inconvenient. Washbasin right next to the clothes hanging space was just silly. We won't stay at an Ibis budget again.
Near the motorway but less than five minutes' drive to the centre of Beaune, the hotel is one of the better Ibis Budget hotels, with new beds and fittings, comfortable mattresses which are a massive improvement on the old ETAP "hard as nails" beds. Even the shower/toilet "pod" was superbly efficient, with a great power shower. The eat-as-much-as-you-like buffet breakfast was delicious, with lovely crusty baguettes and crossants, a machine making delicious freshly ground coffee, cheese and jams etc. Will definitely stay here again en route.
We have stayed in many IBIS budget hotels that have been refitted to the new corporate colours etc this one is the best. It is run by the owners and boy does that show. The place was spotless - the car park was clean as well. The owner does not speak a lot of english but was helpful and did his best and did deal with our questions. It is next door to a novotel. it is in an excellent location for the traveler and Beaune is a great place to visit - it too was spotless. IBIS should take its other mangers to this one to see how it should be done. The only drawback - no lift - however we saw the owner with a builder discussing a plan for installing one. Great night sleep as the new beds and peaceful location worked well together - well done certainly the best IBIS budget I have been to.
This is a pleasant hotel in what appears to be a newly developed part of Beaune. Close by there are several restaurants which offer food at very good value. It is in easy driving distance of the town centre.
hotel has good parking and is easy to access from the highways. breakfast was okay and room standard for Ibis budget. Sole problem was that the room has very hot, air con did not work as they said it was too early in the season to have it on, and they were in the change over period from winter to summer. opening the window did not help and brought in bugs and mosquitoes.
Looked more like a Mobil'home than a hotel. Toilets and bathroom in one tiny room of plastic of 2-3m² (wetting the toilets when taking a shower), the sink was next to the bed instead of in the bathroom. It was clean
We stayed with our Labrador. She slept in her crate in the car, but there would have been room for the crate inside if we had chosen to do so. The bed was comfortable, the whole place was clean, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was maybe a bit overpriced, and the croissants were not fresh, but I would certainly stay again. It is incredibly convenient for the motorway too.
Very poor experience. The reception/breakfast area was undergoing major work, which was not known before arrival, otherwise would NOT have stayed at this place. Check in very basic, breakfast just a joke - in a corridor and bedroom! Refund in order?
The hotel was clean, quiet and rooms were adequate for an overnight stay. Beds were comfortable and staff pleasant. Breakfast offered a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, bread, pastries etc. We would use the Ibis budget chain again without hesitation.
Good deel for people travelling south of france.Situated near highway access is good.Lock parking facility excellent .Near the city of beaune were you can spend a few hours and buy few bottles of wine for your cellar.
Needed a place to stop on the way up from Nice to Calais. This fitted my needs. Found a lovely French restaurant opposite the Ibis. Booked breakfast for the morning - was told it started at 7:30 am, a bit later than I would have liked. Woke early, loaded bike, but no sign of any staff to serve breakfast. About 20 people waited in the cafe. At 8am I gave up since I had to get on. I am now waiting for a response form the hotel and a refund for the breakfast I could not take.
