We picked Paris/France us our half term for 2017, I must say at first I was not sure if we ended up in the right place as it looked more like a residential building. Once in my room keys where ready for me so I did not need to wait around to fill in or sign anything. The rooms could do with a bit more space if you are a group of 3 or more. Location is superb as there is endless choices for places to eat or drink just of the main road, Port de Clichy train stain gets you right into the heart of the city and its cheap travel and a short walk from the hotel. I must say it’s worth every penny
Precisely NO sleep as the banging and crashing of the elevator kept me awake all night since the room was adjacent to the elevator.. Also, no 24 hour room service available as "Kitchen is closed for the night"!!!!
This is a very conventional Ibis hotel - décor is slightly dated, ok but nothing special. The hotel advertises a Pool and a Gym - but this does not open until 9.30 so no chance to use it before work - which means it might as well not be there for my purposes. Restaurants and bar are OK. All in all,. everything is acceptable (except Gym times)and price is moderate for Paris - most positive thing is that it is only 1 metro stop from our company's offices.....
The pool and fitness area was not open on Sunday. There is nothing on the website to indicate limitations on access to these facilities. There should be a seven days a week service so that all clients have equal opportunity to use these facilities. The room was cramped and the ensuite bathroom was to small. Some of the cups were chipped and plates that were not properly cleaned were put out for customers to use at breakfast. We have visited this hotel every year for the past five years and feel it is going downhill.
A lovely clean and friendly hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. The only problem we encountered was the Taxis had difficulty in finding it. The bar was comfortable and spacious. I would stay again. Terry Clayfield
We last stayed at this hotel about 8 years ago and so I was confident of finding it easily again. However, I hadn't realised how much this area has changed recently - it was in fact practically unrecognisable from before!! So we drove around in very slow circles in rush-hour traffic for about an hour before spotting it in amongst the new buildings. The hotel was a bit more tired than I remember it, but on the whole good value for money. Room was a good size, excellent bathroom and shower, comfy bed and pillows, good WIFI, telly, all the usuals. Diverse range of breakfast food, including boil-it-yourself eggs!! Big Carpark underneath for 20 Euros/24 hours (a bit of a rarity in Paris). 5 mins to nearest metro, direct in to central Paris. I would certainly stay here again, especially now I know how to find it!
Rooms were cramped.Bed was very good and we got a good sleep.Location average on the outskirts.Hotel situated near metro. On the website rooms looked a bit more spacious.Staff were really helpful and professional. Breakfast was boring with very less options.
I was staying for 7 days and enjoying the stay ... close to public transportation to and from the airport ... the breakfast was great as well ... but there is a time when the lobby was so crowded and noisy with the group checkin ...
One of the receptionists was perfect, she talked to us with a smile and was kind but other one was a bit nervousnand didnt seem so nice. Room has been cleaned each day! That was great! Location of the hotel is actually not bad. A few metro stations and you can reach the „must see” of paris! :) and the block is not frightening :)
Comfort and hospitality are the main words thar I should say. The Port Clichy station near the hotel is other important factor of our decidion. and the end excelent price for four people with two bed rooms.
Simple but clean room. Pool a lovely bonus with this hotel but we didn't have time to use it! Next to a park with a play area for a little one. Pull out bed for our two year old was handy - I would say it was not ideal for her age (due to overhanging desk) but for school age+ great. Very convenient for metro stations and bus to sacre coeur and central Paris. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Maps provided. Lovely breakfast..cake, numerous breads, egg station, meats and cheese as well as yoghurt and cereals. There is a pizza parlour and a buffet; we find ourselves at the buffet. Limited main options but overall OK. A little pricey for what it was particularly when charging for a 2 year old but lovely staff.
Large modern room, easy to park in garage. Reasonable access to central Paris, metro station a short walk away. Free Wi Fi is very slow. Light in bathroom flickered for two days whilst we were staying.
Stayed here 3 weeks ago yet there were still ongoing problems with the lifts which is unacceptable in a hotel of this size. Some of the staff do not seem happy if you request safe custody facilities which are 4 floors below ground floor level and inconvenient. Why not put safes in the rooms? We were given a ridiculously small room where it was really quite dangerous to get out of one side of the bed in view of its proximity to the wall. There was a spring on the bathroom door which was potentially hazardous when going into the bathroom and the handle on the shower was loose which meant that the water kept going off. Additionally the flow was very poor. Only after complaining twice did we move rooms. I have stayed here many times over the years and the standards in recent times have dropped considerably in my opinion and much work is needed to bring it up to what I would deem acceptable for a 3 star hotel. Amusingly I passed a sign outside on Monday which said rooms were available from €124.
Everything was okay except the dirty bed sheet. There was bloodstain at the very end of the bed sheet on the 1st night. On the second day, it was still there and I informed the front desk about it. She told us that the sheet will be charged every two days so I supposed it will get changed on my last night at the hotel. When I returned late at night on my last night in Paris, the stain is still there. Very disappointed. Besides, there was issue with the hot shower inside my room at 9th floor. The water can get very hot randomly and I was scalded few times. They rectified the issue on the 3rd day after being informed on the day before but this should not happen at the 1st place.
Good location closed to nice restaurants (French cuisine, Asian, North African and Italian...) around with very good access to the public transportations - avoid Metro "Line 13" during the rush hours !!!. Access to fitness center and swimming pool with spa after a busy day. Good ratio quality/price for PARIS area.
Im a Ibis member and use to book with Ibis everytime I'm abroad. This hotel was very nice and cosy but the service could have been better. No wifi on the rooms. Waitress told us everyday they will fix the wifi in the next day, but at the 4th day listening the same excuse we stopped to ask her about the wifi. It would be better if she told us "i don't know when they will fix it" than setting us false expectations.
We found it easy to book and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfasts were full of variety and substantial, though a little overwhelmed on some days due to the number of guests. The buffet dinner meals at the hotel were satisfying, allowing the guest a reasonable selection and choice of quantity. The room was small, but well laid out for a short stay, and the washroom shower excellent and the facilities clean. Being a built up area, there was no distant view from the window, even on the eight floor. Unfortunately, two out of the three lifts were not operating during our stay, which was an inconvenience, and the "free" Wi-Fi did not work. The hotel basement had excellent coach parking facilities ideal for large tour groups. On the whole, very good as a base to see Paris.
It is a very good *** hotel with a nice staff and decent prices. All questions were answered and all problems solved. IBIS loyality card is pretty expensive but it pays off with time, so recommended to use them.
The hotel is extremely expensive for the services they offer. It's located in a neighborhood which is not very friendly or safe. The rooms as usual were extremely tiny to the level that there was hardly any space once you squeeze your luggage in.
It is really hard to find the hotel as there are no references in the streets and hotel hasn't provided any links how to find the hotel. There are many obstacles such us train rails, street repair works and etc., the bridge leading to the hotel also inst marked with ibis hotel sign. The room was good and clean, calm place, very comfortable beds.
