60's style holiday villa with doors opening outside into the bleak weather. No lift. Restaurant / breakfast separate building. dated old decor 60's. 3 floors. A woman might not feel safe. exterior stairs and paths that you need to use to get around the place. Only positive note staff very friendly and helpful. I use ibis / premier inn, all the time., but it would be a dark night if i use this one again.

Adequate room but the bathroom appeared clean but the area around the wobbly toilet did not smell clean. The room was tired but a good radiator and a comfortable bed. I thought the one night stay (Thursday to Friday in March was overpriced at £65. Staff and food were very good.

The hotel rooms are in need of a paint and renovation. The traffic noise from the nearby road can be heard all night and then in the early morning the cleaners can be heard dragging their trolleys around! Very poor experience and would not book here again!

3rd stay recently. Rooms are far from luxurious & for 2nd consecutive time, room cleanliness was an issue. Very pleasant bar & restaurant area with good food & service, but is that enough? We're beginning to think not

This Ibis is on the bottom end of the scale as far as the chain is concerned. Rooms very tired and not 100% clean, shower curtain odiferous. Beds OK and the room not too noisy despite the proximity of the A38.

Friendly, attentive and they do look after you. Will certainly be back as it is smooth and easy in and out. Access good an was the parking. Booking in again quick and easy peasy. My number 1 spot for Plymouth.

It is only good for an overnight stop. The place is clean and tidy. The rooms are okay. The staff are friendly. The evening food is not very good and with nothing else within walking distance you have no choice.

I stay at this Ibis each time I visit Plymouth. The staff are friendly, the rooms are quiet - particularly at the back - and the beds are very comfortable. There is a restaurant with a great selection for breakfast or an evening meal. Cannot fault anything here.

Location very central for our needs. No frills accommodation but comfy beds ensured good nights sleep. Floor could have been cleaner- lots of hair collected in corners and when I tried to wipe it up, the tissue was black. Overall reasonable for cost.

Really excellent hotel. Food very good. Staff excellent. Will stay every time I travel down to Cornwall. Left my wallet behind on day I was leaving. Hotel contacted me and put my wallet in safe place until I arrived back to pick it up. Great service. Thanks

Hotel is easy to find close to main Devon highway and convenient for port. It is dated in style like many of its French cousins but clean and parking was ok'd when I visited. The best thing about it was the quality of service from the staff which was much better than their french cousins who I had stayed with the night before my visit. Also the breakfast was excellent value and tasty.

Generally ok. The place has a quint 1960s motel feeling..... a good set for a Hitchcock film! Staff very pleasant and cheery.. eager to please. Night staff reliably gave 530 am call to let us get to the ferry. Evening meal fine.

Stayed two nights and was perfect for what we required. The room is big enough and the bed is very comfortable. We took breakfast on the first day, well presented and more than enough choice for vegetarians. The only item missing was boiled eggs which I have had in other Ibis hotels in Europe. Staff are knowledgeable on the local amenities and very friendly. Location perfect on the outskirts of the city next to the A38, you can hear the traffic but not loud enough to disturb ones sleep even with the window open. Would we stay again , the answer is a definite yes!

Basic but comfortable over night stop, Room & Bed OK Shower hot, T making and TV in room. Restaurant open until 10pm which suited my 9pm arrival, bar basic but OK. would use again as 15 mins from Plymouth ferry term.

The room got a lot of noise from the nearby motorway. No hand towels in the bathroom. There was no air-conditioning and the window could only be left open 5cm with the lock on. After staying in many Ibis in Europe it was disappointing that the poorest one should be in my own country.

Always a great place to stay when I visit Plymouth handy for all places to visit plus the staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is to much bother, there is a small restaurant with not a huge choice of food but very adequate and tasty.

I always stay here when visiting Plymouth. Easy to find, just off A38. Quiet rooms (ask for a room at the back) with comfortable beds and tea and coffee supplies. Good on site restaurant. Friendly staff. Free car parking.

I have stayed at the Ibis Plymouth in the past and have always been satisfied with the accomadation and have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous the food has always been good and never had any complaints keep up the good work .

Probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Far from it being an hotel it is more like a Motel as car parking is in front of the accomodation blocks and the reception/'restaurant' is in a seperate building. It is a very sad looking site drasticly needing a complete makeover. The rooms are drab and in poor decorative order. The hotel is situated between the busy A38 and a popular industrial/retail estate, The sound proofing of the rooms is inffective and all in all it is a very noisy . The surrounding trees offer some 'rural charm' but are ineffective when it comes to screening. Food, including breakfast, was overcooked and dryed out. A glass of wine I ordered was served in a glass with lipstick still on the rim. The menu however promises much but delivers little. I think this hotel is poor value for money, It is priced to compete with the Premier Inn on the opposite side of the A38 but fails miserably in all areas. Unless Accor Group bulldoze it and build something decent I will NOT be staying here again!

Very comfortable clean hotel, a little way out of the City Centre but a lot better value than the City Centre Hotels. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with doors that open onto an outside terrace, Motel Style. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice
