Great hotel very close to airport, very comfortable and the staff are so helpful. Rooms are modern and clean. Huge choice for breakfast, really good. Bus stop outside hotel for Bordeaux train station or airport.
The reception is nice, since the breakfast is inkluded for everyone, everybody enjoys breakfast, which leads to a good atmospere. The breakfast is not as in Ibis with red pilow, but has everything necessary, and is reasonable. The room was quite, clean, all I wanted. The rate was fair.
Deceptive pictures - small rooms, quite old, just not very nice. Also, restaurant is not open on Sunday evenings for dinner which doesnt really make sense for a hotel. Service was quite good but the property is just kind of gross.
A good clean hotel. The restaurant menu was a little disappointing though, but overall it was 7.5/10 score. Close to the airport for those travelling. Very helpful staff who helped us with our French too!
We stayed at the hotel two nights at the end of our vacation in Bordeaux and Dordogne. The staff speaks English proficiently. They are helpful and friendly. The bus stop is right across the street--to take you into the center of the city. Breakfast is very generous.
Good option for staying in the surroundings of Bordeaux airport. Free shuttle from and to the airport. Decent breakfast. Nice stylish hall, nice and helpful staff. The rooms are tidy and clean. I will book again.
I was very pleased with everything. Extremely children-friendly, clean and comfy room, nice breakfast, very friendly personnel. I had better breakfast, but not for the asking price. Price could be better if they allowed our 3 year old child to sleep in our bed (which she did anyway). We paid for a bed we did not use.
This hotel is very convenient for the airport - five minutes by car .The hotel's shuttle bus service works smoothly and the No 1 bus between the airport and the city centre stops right outside. There is good car parking. Our bedroom was a reasonable size, clean, well-equipped and quiet. Wi-fi access was good throughout the hotel. There is a spacious well set-out lobby area with a kids zone and free hot drinks and pastries. What made our stay so good were the staff. They were all welcoming , efficient, informative and helpful. The hotel restaurant provided a good setting for both business and leisure guests. We found the dinner items well cooked and the starter buffet items really fresh.Chef pointed out which sauces might best go with which items. We came in for lunch just after service had ended - we wanted something different to the 24 hour light meals - no problem - chef willingly came back out to cook the omelettes we fancied. We think the retaurant closes at weekends - but there are others nearby. We would readily stay at this hotel again.
A nice stay as all the times. Only a problem when closing the room-door when leaving the room. Has to use the key-card so that the door would close. Other guests had same problem. I still miss the restaurant during the weekend. But got a hint from staff for a nearby newly opened restaurant.
If you have a flight anywhere from Bordeaux early in the morning - there is a brutal 6.10am departure which connects ia Amsterdam to much of the rest of the world, consider staying here and leaving your car in their car park for Euros 26 per week. 10 euros buys you a 5am taxi to the airport. And you can choose between dinner at the Ibis itself, or 5 minutes walk for the buffet at the Mercure. Well done, Accor!
We stayed at Mérignac because of the shopping mall, and it is close to the channel tunnel.it has been changed to a Ibis styles hotel, but it was not finished the car park was a building site and not secure.the staff were very friendly and accommodating.Rouen is still a nightmare to get out of,but it is a special town.
I had complained last year about some of the features of the family room, and can only say this time it was brilliant : when arriving at the hotel, we were informed our reservation for a family room was upgraded to 2 connecting rooms, so there were no issues of less efficient bathrooms. The rest as usual very good : quality bedding, safe parking, nice breakfast and quick check-in and check-out.
Very good location for a flight from the airport. Restaurant not open as a Sunday evening. Nearby local bus goes into the centre of town. Pleasant and helpful staff. Satisfactory breakfast. Comfortable beds.
We regularly reserve a room in this hotel, and like both the hotel and its services...only, we normally stay as a couple, and when we go the 3 of us (with my husband and my father-in-law) it´s always a fuss. I like to book the room via accorhotels.com and either I book a double room and phone the hotel to change this to a triple room (as I did the first time when the receptionist told me to book a family room), or I "lie" that I´m going with children up to 15 years old, to be able to book a family room online. So far the reservation process. But I think I´ll go to another place next time, as the family room, as far as I am concerned, lacks an efficient bathroom. In the main bedroom there is a sink + mirror installed as a sort of separating wall between the bed and the shower. As it´s an open structure, everyone enjoys the sight of the person taking a shower. Furthermore, water goes everywhere, also all too easily at the other side of the "separation wall". People using an electric shaver have a socket at the back of the shower, too far from the mirror for most of the shavers. In the other sleeping space, a 2piece suite is situated without any socket, so it´s not very functional either. As a topping, both sinks had a faulty water evacuating system. A shame, for attention is given to the sleeping quality (e.g. good mattresses), but obviously nobody has given a thought about the bathroom in a family room. I like the all-in (wifi and good breakfast) formula, although this time the offer of fress cheese and cold meat was very limited. Parking and efficiency at check-in and check-out very good.
Very convenient, but decor now in need of some help. Carpeting in my room very dirty, and paintwork in common spaces needs redoing. Lots of traffic through this property, so a little leeway is to be granted, and my last room was much more Accor standards than this one!
Very handy for the airport. Clean, plenty of room. Slept well. Very impressed with the excellent, simple and good quality breakfast. Squeeze your own fresh orange juice (lovely touch), croissants, rolls, jams, etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle to airport was great - ran every 30 mins from 7am. The window opened, so I didn't need to try the aircon. I'd stay again. Thanks!
We wanted a hotel near the airport to catch an early morning flight. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and convenient. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. One small issue was that the airport shuttle did not start early enough for us and we had to use a taxi, but the desk clerk made the call for us.
