I have stayed in this and many other Ibis hotels, I am therefore not new to the hotel Ibis brand. It was what was expected with a few things that were not right. Firstly, my room was not cleaned correctly and I had to clean around the was basin, secondly, there was bits around the bed floor area, thirdly, I had towels with dirty marks on them. I paid for the new breakfast experience for all three days of my stay, however, on the first day when I asked for eggs, I was told that the eggs had not arrived yet and this was 8.30am! On the third day, I asked for bacon and sausages which i could see had run out and was told that they will be coming soon. I continued with other items of breakfast while waiting and eventually the sausages arrived but still no bacon 25 minutes later. I had to leave for meetings and could not wait any longer. On my way out the hotel I went to reception to voice my concern and the staff member walked out to the breakfast area to check but said nothing to me. As far as i was concerned, I paid for breakfast which should have included all items, after all, I did not look at the breakfast price and offer to pay for selected items to suite me and not pay the full price! I was charged the full price and I expected all breakfast items to be available. Will not be booking this hotel again with breakfast, the Premier inn next door charges and provides a full breakfast with similar hotel rates.
