We have been staying at this hotel for several years when using the ferry to Portsmouth. It is convenient to the port and has the added benefit of secure car parking. The staff are always welcoming and the facilities adequate to our needs

Very handy fit ferry crossing, you can just about see the ferry when it arrives, we use this hotel on a regular basis. Unfortunately this time our ferry was cancelled after the hotel booking had been made. Fortunately they were able to change our booking to the Monday night, so after a very rushed trip through France we arrived and after a nights sleep we were on our way home.

Very good for an early ferry as it is just a couple of minutes drive. Staff are charming, but rooms need a make over also rather small and cramped but fine for one night stay. Plenty of nice places to eat locally

Room small but comfortable and quiet for a good night's sleep. Very convenient for early ferry allowing breakfast before checking in. Parking outside very useful although secure parking is also available. Several restaurants nearby if hotel food is not to ones taste

As with so many previous occasions, a very pleasant stay with an excellent evening meal with superb service. Our only criticism is that the cornflakes available at breakfast are too sugary. So we do without.

We were catching a ferry at 8.30 and the Ibis Styles is about 3 minutes from the terminal. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good however the restaurant is not open at the weekend but there are many places to eat nearby

A stop over from ferry very close,,, Beds are comfortable rooms small but clean and adequate Breakfast good included in price Have not eaten dinner can't comment Staff are always friendly and helpful Secure parking at €5

Lovely hotel, great room, great bed, great staff, but right opposite the ferry port. As a consequent it was very noisy until the early hours of the morning. In winter that would not have been a problem but because it was hot we needed to open the window to cool the room as there is no air conditioning. Open window = noisy room. Closed window = very hot room. Consequently, badly disturbed sleep.

A Hotel that was friendly, helpfful, sympathetic and understanding. A great place for the lone traveller. Safe andvsecure parking andcadjacentbtobtye ferry port.. Within walking distance ofvthe centre ville.i

Great warm welcome late in the evening on arrival. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Good breakfast in the morning before setting off again. Have stayed here many times and the service has always been first rate

Pleasant hotel. Rooms and bathrooms recently upgraded. Disappointing that the resaurant doesn't open at weekends except for breakfast and annoying that the switch from Mercure status to Ibis Styles means they 'include' breakfast in the charge for rooms. I guess many guests are there to catch the 8.30 ferry and enjoy breakfast on board.

Free Parking FULL - we had to pay - Room really tight and could hardly move around - Breakfast expensive - we are a member and got the discount - but the price on Trip advisor was the same - what's the point in being a member?

Pre booked in April and check in was so easy which was made better by the pleasant attitude and manner of the receptionist, the friendliest welcome we have ever had in France. Room was fine and breakfast was fresh with a good selection. No doubt will be staying there again next year.

Extremely handy hotel for the ferry but rather expensive for the rather small room. Our on-line booked, le club, price was reduced from €100 to $98.95. Not fantastic. The restaurant menu did not strike as appealing. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good car parking.

Stayed at this hotel with cycles and luggage we needed storing not only for our overnight stay but also throughout the following day while we waited for our ferry. The staff provided everything we needed and made our trip much easier. They have certainly earned their Accueil Velo status for us Velo Francette travellers

This hotel is conveniently located for cross-channel ferry access. It is within easy walking distance of restaurants and World War museum amenities. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for overnight stays. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.

Good for overnight stay - only problem - even though very close to the port the directions are not clear - could do with clearer directions. Otherwise for an overnight stay in transit very good value.

Very pleasant and helpful staff.and also very good breakfast. Evening meal menu was disappointing. Room was very small for large disabled person but very clean and quiet., Very handy for ferry port and major routes

Convenient for staying overnight before catching early morning Britanny ferry but not good value. Breakfast included but dearer than standard IBIS yet room smaller. Next time will stay in town rather than port.

While our stay was not bad, this particular hotel is not up to par with ibis Styles that we have previously visited. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it is very close to the ferry port, but the rooms are small and somewhat expensive. It was fine for a one night stay.

Hotel design

Aquarium, seabed, lazing about the beach...port and starboard, the works of Gilgogué on the horizon. Don't hesitate, jump in! And we scour the ship's passageways: lighting effects, vivid colours...calm seas ahead! At the restaurant, the seafood takes centre stage. Then, head for port. A bridge, a gangway, a arrive at your cabin Seashell footstools, teardrop wall sconces and first class bunks-it's all there! You glance through the porthole, and you see sea life thanks to the watercolours of Alexandra Palavasson... Like a fish takes to water, you snuggle up in bed and let the waves rock you to sleep!

Ship ahoy! Facing the ferry terminal where boats set sail for England, and just 500 metres from sandy beaches, the port and the outdoor market...Welcome to Ibis Styles Ouistreham! On board his ship, the "commander" and his team invite you to take a cruise to rest and relaxation...toooooot, tooooooot! Hoist anchor!

All aboard! Thanks to the captain and his crew, you'll have a great time on this journey. A warm welcome, comfort, cosiness...goodbye to everyday uproar, here it's smooth sailing from start to finish!
