I have reviewed the Ibis at London Gatwick before and have been asked for another so I'll keep it short as not much has changed. Basically, a very nice, reasonably priced hotel to use if you are using Gatwick airport or travelling about the area, getting to London or the South Coast, a short drive to Gatwick, about 45 minutes from London and about 30 minutes from the South Coast. Crawley Town Centre is about a 15 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive. I use the hotel on business, every 4 weeks, I fly down from Edinburgh, I always get a cheerful welcome from friendly faces I recognise and my requests for an out of the way quieter room is almost always met as I get to be late and get up really early. The hotel is quite basic but has all you need for a short stay, bar, restaurant, two lifts to about 5 floors of rooms, all recently renovated. Car parking is available, £7 per day, the staff are lovely. Cleaning is on a daily basis. Large double bed with en-suite or a choice of twins or family room if you need it. The food is decent pub grub ordered over the bar and there is room service. Drinks are the usual close to London prices. If you want to venture out for a meal or shopping then the Town Centre is not far away or you could walk up the road and there's a local pub. All very good and given the price per room if booked ahead, well worth it.
