Always stay at Ibis. Really clean rooms, great bed, nicely updated facilities, nosey Claudia at checkin wants to know where people work, great location near services, great shuttle bus, great night sleep.

Stayed the night before a very early flight. Checked in by a very cheerful lady on reception, who was very helpful. Room up to usual Ibis standard, small, but spotlessly clean, and functional. Bar staff pleasant as well. Good hotel at a reasonable price for an airport hotel.

Buses run to this hotel every 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport and at a cost of £3 a single journey. Very quick check-in and was in a room on the 3rd floor. The room was nicely furnished, plenty of hanging space, coffee, tea etc for one person. the shower room was clean and spacious. The bed was a bit hard for me but the pillows were ok. Did not use the bar or dining room. Next morning nice smiling receptionist on check-out.

We stayed one night in the hotel, as we were flying in the morning and didn't want to drive early morning. Check in very quick. Room was clean and although you have no doublt that the hotel is budget one, we enjoyed a good night's sleep. Restaurant prices are ok. There is a Tesco metro nearby if you want to buy some cheaper snacks, etc. They charge for parking overnight, the cost was £7 (short stay). Hotel is little bbit away from the airport, but there is a shuttle bus service (tickets available @ reception), which takes you directly to the airport (can't remember what we paid) but it was good value for money.

The hotel is great with modern decoration and the staff is helpful. Beds are excellent quality. The problem is that the free shuttle runs only every 45 minutes, so somehow the benefit of sleeping close to the airport is reduced.

This property, close to Gatwick airport, is very well kept, cheap and confortable. Good cleaning and basic but useful forniture. Airport shuttle as well as local transport busses (bus 100) connect to teminal South and North (just five minutes journey).

All the staff were very helpful. The room was a good size but a bit more room for clothes would have been helpful. But there was no central heating in the rooms and the weather was very cold. The celing heater made a noise like a motorbike. When we reported it the next morning, we were moved immediately and all was well. The evening meal was typically pre-prepared food and not very appetising, but the breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

The receptionist was unwelcoming. My check-in seemed too much trouble for her. Her attitude was surly to the point of rudeness. No acknowledgement was made of Platinum status. I asked for a quiet room (at time of booking). I was given one near the lifts and I could hear the mechanism running all night. I understand that this is a franchise hotel - it certainly did not have the customer service that I am used to from Accor branded hotels.

Room is clean and tidy. Bathroom is ok. There is a shuttle service with £6 for round trip to and from the airport, and it takes only about 10 mins for the trip. The shuttle starts early and ends late so if you have an early flight or arrive late (before 12) than you don’t have to worry about the transportation.

Great hotel - clean rooms and fantastic staff. Location a little away from the airport but great value for money. Nice coffee and rooms have good facilities for a hotel of this price. Overall very good

Never changes at Gatwick, save the recent paint job in the rooms. Friendly staff and everything predictable. My umpteenth stay and always satisfied although I rue the lack of wake-up calls especially since I was there during the end of summer time and the so called smart phone in the room wasn't responding

Convenient for London Gatwick and the hotel offers a useful park and fly package. Friendly, helpful staff but the hotel itself lacks atmosphere, the bar and restaurant area look tired and in need of some TLC. The restaurant menu is very limited and options weren’t very appealing. Room was very clean and relatively spacious. Situated on a busy, noisy road with inadequate double glazing meant that we didn’t get much sleep.

Usual Ibis standard, clean efficient, and everything you need for a one night stay before flying out of Gatwick. Rooms are small, but good value for the price you pay. Staff are friendly, and there is a restaurant and bar on site

Arrived to find I had to prepay the trip and then I couldn’t add extras into the room without a lot of fun use use Ibis’s frequently so not sure why. General customer service not up to usual standards

I stayed there for 1 night before an early morning flight. It is a clean and neat hotel, and was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and met all of our needs. I would definitely stay there again when necessary.

Everything about the Hotel was excellent except the location.I did'nt realise just how far I would have to travel from the Airport to the Hotel..Reception,Room,Breakfast were excellent.Great Value. If I stay again I would be prepared for the distance. All in all a very nice experience.Pat Morrissey,Dublin

Had a nice stay at the IBIS Gatwick, but the bus transfer is a bit hit and miss. It was fine when they done there own transfers, but now they changed to a multi pick up system with other hotels, and in my opinion is not punctual & unreliable.

We received a lovely welcome, speedy check in, great staff, a lovely meal and drink in the bar and a comfortable room. Shuttle bus available to airport just outside hotel, we purchased tickets for the bus at the check in process.

I enjoyed staying here - it was good value and staff were friendly. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were helpful about updating me about the shuttle. It is about a 10 minute shuttle ride away from the airport. Thank you very much.

Ok, I know how the system and demand, so when I had to make a short-notice booking, I knew it would be more than the usual rate. I was not, however, prepared for the £150 bill for a single night. This was reduced, with discount, to £142.50. This was room only, breakfast being extra. Also, being a late booking, it was the last room in the hotel, so it was at the front, very noisy with the window open, which was the option, as the a/c didn't work, and it had two single beds. Did I sleep well? What do you think! My previous stay at the Ibis was good, so I was really disappointed this time.
