In general very good only problem the bar did not have a very good choice of Beer no draft Check in and check out good as was the staff. Clean and tidy all round Location from our point was excellent Cannot really fault this hotel apart from the bar
Despite a clear statement on their website stating that the restaurant was open in the evenings all week, when we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed! We were not impressed. Also the swimming pool was closed. On the positive side the 24/7 meals were small but tasted good.
Booked an overnight here, and arrived in pouring rain, and suprised that all nearest parking spots were marked as for disabled. They were all empty. No problem with having some, but so many?? Since I was still needing a stick to walk sometimes after a recent hip op, I did find it troubling to have to carry luggage so far after a long drive. I had asked for a quiet room, and this they did give me - the double glazing worked and the traffic close by did not disturb. Nor did any air conditioning units, so plus point there. The beds and pillows with the new range of bedding are amongst the most comfortable I've experienced, one of the reasons why I stay in Ibis now. The shower rooms, though compact, work well too. I had booked half board, but will not do so again. I was disappointed in their choice of meal (none offered) and lasagne as a main evening neither pleased nor was particularly pleasant. The buffet entrees were OK but limited in choice too. The lettuce was very tough. Sadly breakfast was also not the best I've had, it was impossible to cook the eggs sufficiently, the manager accepted that the equipment was old and did not work very well, but I was disappointed all round in the breakfast offering too as it has less choice than most of the other Ibis I have stayed in. Adjacent to a budget Ibis, it seemed to serve that hotel for meals as well, maybe this explains the poorer quality of the meal offerings. Would stay again, but not take the evening meal there.
comfortable room, no noise comfy mattress and goodnights sleep Friendly staff and room very clean. Only issue was restaurant was closed on a SAT night and had to drive 5 mins to find somewhere to eat.
We were very happy with all aspects of our stay. Our room was a quiet room, as requested. A male member of staff checked us in and was very pleasant and helpful when we asked about getting into Montauban on foot. Service and cleanliness were excellent.
Perfectly acceptable hotel of the Ibis brand. Close to the road so great for a stop off, but beware of road noise in some of the rooms. Ask when booking for a quiet room if you dont want any noise. Rooms are standard Ibis quality and there was plenty of parking. The best feature of this hotel was the breakfast. Very good quality and staff were constantly replenishing items.
I was driving back from Spain with a car load of personal items and wanted somewhere with secure overnight parking. The car park here is gated and locked after 11pm. I have stayed at Ibis in France so I know what to expect-clean, modern room. Decent breakfast (included local cheeses which was good) Warm welcome on arrival. My knowledge of French is limited so having at least BBC World News is handy to keep in touch. On the downside the restaurant was closed as it was Sunday evening so I had to drive back into town for food. Its around 2 miles. There is nothing nearby as this is on an industrial part of Montauban. The day was sweltering, over 26c and I wanted to have a swim in the pool which looked so inviting. I was told it does not open until June which seemed ridiculous The bed was so comfortable. Ibis pride themselves on their beds which have mattress toppers. It gave me such a good night's sleep I was ready to continue my long drive the following day (onto IBIS at Orleans!)
Very efficient and friendly service, excellent venue when travelling with a dog, as there is a nice area to excercise the dog adjacent to the hotel A quiet room. Good value food. Plenty of car parking space
The hotel is very good and up to the high standard expected at an Ibis. The staff were all friendly. The evening meal was awful. We had chicken which was dry and tough and difficult to cut or eat. The presentation of the meal left a lot to be desired too. I'd recommend the hotel but find somewhere else to eat.
Wonderful to have a swimming pool. Friendly staff. Good food. Easy to find. Très agreable d'avoir une piscine, équipe aimable, restaurant bien, Hotel facile à trouver. There is an Ibis budget next door with no pool so we went to the right one.
Extremely handy for the motorway, yet no traffic noise. A quiet comfortable hotel with attentive staff and a reasonably priced bar/restaurant. Only stayed one night whilst travelling south, so didn't use many of the facilities. Dined outside by the pool, which did look clean and inviting. Unable to comment as to its' location in relation to the town.
This hotel is ideally situated for travel down through France is it is two minutes from the motorway. Breakfast was typically Ibis and ok, dinner not so good, there were complaints from an adjacent table about cold food Ibis have always been very good but now are starting to be more expensive in comparison to other similar hotels. My husband And I have previously been mystery inspectors for the Sun Hotel group in South Africa for a few years.
Stayed for 7 nights, nothing to really complain about. OK for the price. The typical old school IBIS look - somewhat worn but clean. Staff is friendly and cooperative. Rather quiet even though close to the motorway.
