We stayed here overnight and can honestly say it's one of the better Ibis we have stayed in. The rooms were clean and the reception staff were really friendly. Breakfast was the best we've had for a long time.
We used this hotel for a four day visit to our granddaughter. The hotel was comfortable and well situated for the town of Dole and for access to the Jura countryside. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Clean and comfortable, just what you expect from an Ibis. Good relaxing breakfast. Excellent evening meal served by a friendly and attentive waitress. Large parking spaces. Quick and easy check in/out.
Should have booked the Ibis Budget which is better positioned for the "A39 peage". The hotel was in the back of a commercial area and thank goodness we had a GPS. Our room was fine but backed onto a busy local road so ended up closing window to keep out traffic noise.
All fine - except the restaurant was seriously understaffed for the evening. We had to wait a long time to be served; the staff were clearly stressed; and our orders were mixed up and came out of sequence.
Room rather small and Spartan with no decoration. The air con was very noisy. However it was very cheap so we didn't mind too much for an overnight stay and location excellent, just off the A39, in an industrial estate so was very quiet at night.
At reception immediately impressed by very friendly people at the desk. Atmosphere of entrance hall and restaurant accommodating and cosy. Clean room, but although we confirmed our late arrival by phone, the heating in the room was completely turned of so very cold when we entered. Unfortunately there was an irritating smell in the room of the sink of the bathroom, so immediately we tried to get rid of this by running water through shower, toilet and sink, and opening the windows. However in vain, after a reasonable time the smell remained, and of course we would like to close the window as the already cod room needed to be warmed up. At th reception they offerend immediately another room, this one was not so nice and had an older bathroom and was as cold as the first one. The breakfast was perfect the next morning, and check-out without problems. Positive is that parking place was available in front of the hotel.
Terrific hotel location wise for an overnight stop. The restaurant is pretty good and the staff are really attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and well furnished. As an aside, you've slso got the cora supermarche right outside with a diesel and petrol station with low prices as well.
The hotel is decorated in bright, cheery colours but our visit was marred by a drains smell on our floor and on our bedroom. The heating was also not on in the room so was quite chilly and unwelcoming. Although breakfast was adequate and catered for my gluten free needs, dinner wasn't very good with nothing really that suited a gluten free diet. I did have a beef burger which had been burnt because I asked for well cooked. The waiter and chef seemed to find it amusing when I said I couldn't eat blackened meat.
The hotel was one of the best Ibis hotels we have stayed in. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the hotel & the room was modern & clean the bar and restaurant were superb. However the evening meal was absolutely fantastic. Having just spent a week in a 4* hotel in the south of France the meal at this Ibis hotel was easily as good. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
Very clean property, welcoming staff. Night staff not able to help in anyway, they said they are new and do not know how to remedy problem that we had with the shower. Following morning, staff apologise, and offer free breakfast which we accepted as it did not make a significant difference to our stay. Rather than implement the 15 min guarantee that is offered.
Okay for overnight stop on way from South of France to Channel Tunnel. But on arrival at approx 8.00pm there was nobody at the reception. Had to ring a bell to get a fairly unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. We were surprised to find there was no restaurant and only snack food available. Room okay and bed comfortable. Bathroom/shower could do with some improvement.
The hotel was undergoing substantial renovation, which did not affect the room or the restaurant. However, I would have expected some (small) reduction in price as a result of the general ambiance. The service was good throughout.
