The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room clean and comfortable. The evening meal was thoughtfully prepared, it was tasty and served hot. Breakfast as ever in an Ibis was good value for money. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the auto-route.
I normally do not stay in Ibis, because I am already aware that their standard rooms are too small for my needs. However, this is reflected in the price, and I when travelling solo, I can usually re-arrange the furniture to make more usable space. I would find this hotel impossible, if travelling as a couple. The main problem being that there is nowhere to put your suitcase. There is a narrow margin of space around the bed, which as the room is configured is unusable. If the bed is moved to one side, a usable area is created. The bathroom is also somewhat cramped with very little space for toiletries etc... The hotel could easily fix this by mounting some shelves (or a cabinet) on the wall. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One positive feature of the red Ibis brand, is that bar snacks are available 24/7. This is very useful, particularly as, in France, it is sometimes difficult to find a bar or restaurant that serves food outside the traditional times for lunch and dinner, notably the late afternoon. In addition, these bar snacks are surprisingly good. The hotel is good value for a solo traveller, or for a couple travelling light and sharing 1 suitcase.
welcoming, clean, good breakfast, nice staff, our up to date sat nav didn't recognise the address, the shower when used floods the bathroom floor making it very wet and slippery which is dangerous - black mould in the shower is unacceptable. You really need air con, it was only 20c when we were there but the choice was cook with the window closed and not sleep or open the window and because of the traffic noise not sleep!!
We stayed here for a 5 night visit to this part of Brittany. It was an excellent location for touring around but situated in a residential area there was little nearby. The service from the staff could not be faulted and we found the room comfortable and bed excellent. We only had coffees in the hotel but the bar/dining area was very clean and inviting. Parking was very easy we didn't have any problem finding the hotel first time, although the road system from the nearby motorway seemed confusing first time round.
A very ordinary and unscenic surrounding but excellent hotel with comfortable rooms and very good breakfast especially the coffee. It all added up to really good value for money Comfortable room and helpful people and accessible wi-fi - very important. Like the standard of rooms best and the location least -- very unscenic with noise from Route Natonale. Not easy to find
Our stay in this hotel was most enjoyable and made even better for Ian as he is a smoker and they do have smoking rooms still. The staff here were lovely especailly the lady in the evening shift and the Night Porter. The only problem here is that the hotel is not in the actual town which was a little bit of a disadvantage for us. Again it was spotless
