my room was without AC, safe, refrigerator, iron. no hands towels, no face towels. when i asked for an iron, i got cheap iron without iron table. when i asked to keep something on the refrigerator, the guy on the desk say it impossible. when i try to explain the woman on the desk, that i am Jewish and i am not using electricity at Saturday, so i will need her help with the electrical door, she start arguing with me about it. in 2017 only i spent more than 100 days in hotels. this is was my worst stay for sure, and it cost me more than the price i paid for Sheraton Offenbach on the weekend before this stay.
ibis Styles Frankfurt Offenbach, is very relax. You definitely feel like home, it's always as you're pleased kind of mood. The bathroom was spacious enough, not to big not to small, just proportional. Only the materialistic interior design of the room and the hotel is not my style, but let it not beat the fact that it was an amazing stay as well due to the day and night shift personell. So my shout out and many appreciation goes out to the staff that made my stay a pleasant experience. Without them, there is no hotel. I will definitely stay there again.
Renovated, nice and clean rooms (in reallity the room does not look as awful as on the pictures), small rooms, but just for overnight stay it is ok. Parking in the street in front of the hotel is free of charge. Breakfast is ok - quite a good choise. Very good value for money.
Whilst this hotel is a little out of town we found it easy to get into the city and also found some interesting eating houses within walking distance; the hotel's bar food was handy on the first night (pizza & beer deal)
Overall it is a good property with Ibis standard (with a unique decor). Just a couple of remarks. A reception lady dealt my check in around 7PM was not particularly helpful or friendly when I questioned about a parking space. My colleagues checked in around midnight took 40 minutes for the procedure - very inflexible and not acceptable.
The wifi connection was really bad! When I complained to the reception the staff did not really bother to help. She told me it should work but it didnt work! The air conditioning also not working. I was not offered a welcome drink eventhough I am priviledge accor hotel member which entitled for this!
Except the unknown phone calls after midnight we were pleased about our stay but it can be called as a standart hotel conditions. The location is slightly out of the city center with a very convenient access to underground
Staff helpful and able to assist in English. Convenient stopover whilst travelling through Germany. Rooms clean and bright and very quiet for restful night. Secure parking overnight. Fast checkout. Have used hotel before and will return.
the rooms for a person in a wheelchair , accessible, was too small and not useful with a wheelchair. Worst was the bathroom, handles were missing, the doors to the garage, difficult to open, so this hotel should not be recommended for handicap people
All in all I would stay here again. Breakfast was simple, service great, rooms close to street so keep the window closed at night. Parking can be tricky if you get one of the last corner parking spots.
All in all a great hotel, situated in the very near of Frankfurt. Not far from the Central Station, in fact. Room was very nice and the size was good. Breakfast was as can be expected. Only thing that could have been better, was the fact that the air conditioning did n´t work and we stayed there in the middle of a heat wave.
I would rate the hotel as very nice. Good value for money. I have stayed here for 3 days. The folks at front desk were really nice and helpful. Eric, Maya and another lady (I forgot her name). The bar was nice as well. Room was spacious enough for me. There was not kettle, iron box, minibar or safe(may be a few items available on request, I didn't need them). The location is a bit out of Frankfurt center (Offenbach), in a quiet area, but you can reach city center easily by car or bus. Hotel arranged taxis with a click for me whenever I needed; very helpful. Breakfast was good as well. The spread included a lot of bagels, pastries, juices, hot and cold beverages, salami etc. All in all good and value for money. Recommended.
The one thing we noticed was there was no tissues for nose. For the most part it was comfortable room, location was pretty good and the staff at this hotel were very friendly and very good attention to detail. Overall very good.
Although I proceeded to an online check-in a few hours before my arrival, I was asked to check in once more on arrival (at midnight, with my 4 children sleeping while standing next to me) and, on the following day, to wait for somebody in order to check out (although this was also supposed to be done online)...
Positives: Clean and nice decorated rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, reasonable price Small (but not critical) issues: room did not have a kettle, safe and mini-bar, the hotel located at the border between Frankfurt and Offenbach, so trip to Frankfurt takes time.
Although in an industrial and unattractive area, this hotel is special and I can absolutely recommend it. It is simple and has no luxury in the traditional meaning. But the nice design, the contemporary layout and the excellent beds make this hotel very special. Flooded with light and friendly colors make you feel refreshed and welcome. The price is very much ok, too.
Decent hotel, recently modernised, in a good location on the outskirts of Frankfurt. less than 10 miutes walk from the S-Bhan, and 10 minutes into Offenbach Centre. Bad points: The elevators are poor, you can wait a long time, and if you're waiting to ocme down, the elevator may arrive, you jump in, and then it goes up. No indation on up/down travel. Service in the bar can also be hit or miss. Sometimes there is only one staff member covering both Reception & Bar. Be prepared for a long wait.
Rooms are a little small for 2 people with luggage but comfortable, good breakfast included, easy walk to the metro and pleasant staff. You can take a bus or walk into the center of town in 15 minutes.
hotel located in a very quiet neighborhood. With S-bahn it is easy to get to center of Frankfurt. Pleasent stay for good money. Mc Donalds not far away, also Shell petrolstation. interesting interiors design.
No air-conditioning in this hotel. I mean it is not expected to really have to look into the details to understanding if a hotel have air-conditioning or not. Fine, but at least air flow. No air flow indeed. No advice during check-in, kept secretive, and cannot cancel in the next 10 minutes when you realize there is no air-conditioning. Nice smiley face but what a night when you have to open wide the window to let air in, but have to consider a first floor room anyone in the street can climb and walk into.... would you feel safe during your stay? And worst is there are frequent traffic at night meaning that you'll be awakening every few minutes. I really didn't expect Ibis to treat me like that as I have speed 90% of my stay in Europe Ibis, a 2 weeks adventure and a terrible big surprise from Ibis. There is a design problem with this "Style" ibis hotel, please let me know why this hotel is built without understanding this "infrastructure" problem. I hope everyone read this and stay out of here but honestly a lot of people will experience the same way as no one would expect to read the details before booking Ibis, the brand is supposed to be a peace of mind, at least for my first 13 days stay for the Europe trip, I am so sorry for my wife and my 10 year old daughter.
