Booked online and all was extremely clear and easy to do. On arrival the reception staff were very courteous and had all the necessary paperwork ready which greatly reduces the time taken. The room was clean and tidy, the room lighting is a little low and could really do with brightening up. all the staff were extremely helpful and when I needed to extend my stay there was no problem. The only negative comments are that the menu is a little limited both for Indonesian and foreign foods, the other comment is that the entry sign for the rear entrance is a little small and taxi drivers do struggle sometimes. Overall a very good hotel with a reasonable price
I had a pleasant stay at this Ibis Hotel. The rooms are comfy with really cozy beds. Staff are nice and always willing to assist.. always with warm smiles. The hotel has all the facilities that I require, including a nice gym & pool. I guess the only set back is that its located a distance from the shopping malls and eateries, where one nees transport to access.
I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. The first impression of the hotel was very old and not friendly. First, i had to wait for check-in as only 1 officer at that time, it was around 10 pm. Dedicated checkin counter for leclub member was there but no one took care of the check-in process. When i asked the availability for upgraded room, i couldnt get upgraded for the first night as there was availability issue, which i totally understand. However i noticed for the following nights a lot of empty room and still i did not get upgraded. On the room issue, bathroom and bedroom were clean but unfortunately the bedcover was not clean. Some dirt marks were seen on the bedcover folds. They gave me the special welcome package for gold member though. In this hotel, you will not get a free parking like any other ibis (or accorhotel), they still charge you USD 0.3/entry. Still cheap but just different than any other accorhotel. Bar closes at 11 pm, which is very weird. Normal bar closes at 2 am if it is not open 24 hrs. The unpleasant experience came from laundry side. The laundry did not deliver as written in the laundry bill. They hold our laundry for more than 48 hrs. Their reason was because we havent paid, while we couldnt pay as we didn't now what is the total cost. Normally we pay everything while we are checking out. Breakfast was ok but you need to expect similar food everyday. Same fruit, same wafels, same pancake, same fried rice. The local cuisine were good but pretty much similar everyday. When i came to the hotel, i guess a lot of government events were held so the membership did not really help to get the benefit from the hotel. I really hope that Ibis works on the improvement.
This is the best ibis hotel i’d ever stay. Should became the ibis style. I rather choose this one rather than any ibis hotel i’d been stayed. Breakfast, late checkout and friendly staff are common sense. The bar was so excellent
On arrival at the hotel by taxi was welcomed by the security personnel who assisted with my luggage without being asked. The check in procedure was completed efficiently with the receptionist asking if I needed an extra key card or not. The rooms although not large are entirely suitable although the lighting is not really bright enough to allow reading of newspapers etc. The internet seems to be working far better now throughout the hotel, whereas before it was not so good in certain areas of the hotel. The restaurants and bar serve good food at reasonable prices although the cost of drinking at the bar for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is quite expensive. Check out was very efficient and any queries were answered very quickly and fully explained. This hotel offers a good location to stay at a good price with excellent service.
We go to Indonesia every year for 6 weeks to 2 months. This is our hotel of choice as we fly into Jakarta and when we leave Indonesia through Jakarta. Services are great, friendly staff, good variety of food offerings and the rooms and prices are perfect for our " go to " hotel for transiting through Jakarta. We have booked here every year since 2005.
This could be a very pleasant stayed for a very kind receptionist at lobby, an helpful staff on arrival, and nice look for hotel design. But it was very disappointed when i should pay for car parking everytime. I know it was only 4k, but it was silly if i stayed at a hotel and i should pay for my car parked. They said it was facility, but i don't feel that way. 3 times going out, 3 time i should pay for car park even i stayed at the hotel.
The hotel is located near to a toll road, though there is always traffic, a seldom gets to bad. The rooms are compact, but nice and quite. Kept neat and clean by a very efficient Housekeeping. The variety of food offered at breakfast is good, the service there is even better. Sometimes you find yourself within a lot of people at breakfast, which don't let you have that slow and quiet breakfast you where opting for. All in All a good place in the low-midrange segment
Having visited Ibis hotels in 7 countries, I got a positive outlook of the brand in general terms. There are inconsistencies, but the lower levels are still comfortable (I'm thinking Ibis Hamburg Airport, and Ibis Pattaya as the poorest experiences I've had, and they're still reasonable). The Jakarta Slipi property is different, in many good ways. For one thing, it's more committed towards the Accor identity than other properties (which means they will honor guest status particularly well, offering perks -such as late checkout- even if not asked). Where many Ibis branded properties have a standardized single bar/breakfast area, this hotel has at least three distinctive places with diverse offers, colors, ambiances and intents; ranging from the breakfast/buffet to a really nicely decorated restaurant (Le Bistrot) and a chilly atmosphere bar (Onyx). Even though the range of dishes offered is not wide, the staff will go into the trouble of accommodating special requests, taking notes, and complying perfectly in schedule and instructions even if that may require shift coordination (e.g. I discuss my breakfast with the evening staff, and get delivered by the morning shift). The GM enjoys participating at the hotel life, including events organized for extended stay guests; he is happy to offer his knowledge of the area and take upon comments and suggestions. The rooms seem well maintained even though they could use a few more light bulbs or increased luminosity; cleaning is efficient, bathrooms work properly, the suits include comfortably sized bath tubes. The gym is OK with cardio equipment but needs an upgrade for the weight training part. Although the fact that there is a lively, usable gym is a big plus a bit uncommon on the brand. This first stay for two weeks is great, and I look forward to staying at this hotel frequently.
Strategic location in between city and airport. I feel like an escape from my routine. Enjoy swimming and good sleep. Massage is a plus for the travellers. Being an Accor member, I am given good room with requested condition. Thanks
Great dinner voucher and meal package for me and frriend to hangout at resto, very helpful front office that give me extra late check out, and the non smoking room are neat I don't feel any trouble in breathing in not uite new room.. I need someone to remind me on breakfast time and do not forget my fruit platter *lol
Very smooth fast check in, room was very clean although extremely cold due to the AC. Restaurant food was of good quality but the menu is quite limited. The colour of the swimming pool tiles does not make the pool so attractive although the water is very clean. Check out was again very smooth and fast. A hotel to be recommended.
great staff and nice plus comfortable stay. stay for 2 night and found nice experience. our family already know this hotel for long time, and already frequent stay here. the swimming pool need more towel standby.
The hotel staffs are friendly, the food is good and price is reasonable, the one key dissatisfaction was the internet was always not available even with an additional router in the room. As this was a business trip it cause much inconvenience and the lighting at the work desk is too dim. Hope this can be improve. Cheers
Fast check in. Courteous reception. Small but decent room. Taxi always available at the front lobby. Location was close to the wedding venue (Gedung Manggala Wanabakti). I was able to use my accorhotels points.
Breakfast Room is a mad house in the peak hour of 7 - 8am. Hence food are in disarray, service staffs are way overload and coffee and juice dispenser ran out very quickly and with long queue if it is available. All seats are taken up and spilled into pool side and the bar. Service tried their best but are simply overloaded.
It was a pleasant 1 week stay with very friendly and helpful staffs especially front office staff by the name of Dinda. The room was clean and cosy, the foods were delicious even though limited spreads/ varieties for buffet breakfast and dinner.
My last 2 stays in this hotel has been disappointing in 2016 ! As for my last stay, my friend came and looked for me in person. He was repeatedly told that there was no such guest in your hotel . My friend waited (as he did not know my room no ) and asked the reception repeated and got the same answer.
Enjoy the time in Ibis. Nice and strategic place. Friendly staff but their working speed should be increased . We had dinner in their restaurant and the food was slow to come. We were already hungry but waited for quite sometime
During my stay for 1 nights the coridor smells of paint due renovations and my bathroom also smell. i asked them to exchange my room with other rooms. but the front office dont allow me and ask housekeeping to give me a perfume on the bathroom and In the middle of the night around 2am the smells from the bathroom come out again. and i cannot sleep well because of that.
