Hotel is nicely placed on the Evora map. All the poeple in the neighbourhood as well as at the hotel are really nice and helpful. The room was clean and taken care of. It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel.
Holidays at June 2017, in Portugal & Sevilha, by 14 days together with my girlfriend. We loved the Évora city and the Íbis hotel has a privileged location. Near to the center of the city and easy access.
Ibis Evora is close to historical Evora, just need to cross the street and walk 10 minutes. It is a 3 stars very good, clean, good service, happy people and cheap Reception people tell you all necessary information to arrive in many places close to the rail road station you can walk 10 minutes and you will be there.
Very good staff, welcoming, polite and very helpful. Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Breakfast good in quality and presentation. Good choice too. Good location to visit the old town of Evora within a walled city.
we were well served by hotel staff at Ibis-Evora, however we had to change rooms because the entire hotel is very hot with too much heat. it is a cool fall time of year, but you would have thought it was January in Moscow. the hotel has got to re-think the amount of heat they are running in the hotel. turning it off in the room IS NOT ENOUGH! we had to open the entire window all the way and leave it open through the night, just to survive. we stayed at 5 other Ibis hotels in Portugal on this trip and did not have this problem elsewhere.
This Ibis hotel is the usual standard which we find good value for money. The menu is adequate. The hotel is clean. Evora is a very nice place to visit with plenty to see within the walled city. Also well placed for travelling between Spain and Portugal
This is one of the older Ibis with older style room and decor - not terribly cheerful or bright. Service is generally fine but unremarkable. This pales in comparison to the newer and modern Ibis Lisbon Parque das Noces, for instance.
I liked location e the room was clean. Do check in early to get a free park, because if it's full, you will have to pay 2,00 euros for 24 hours. The recepcionist was very prestative and helped me every time I asked.
Ibis provides clean, comfortable, basic accomodations within a short 2 minute walk of Evora's old-town. Staff were all welcoming and visibly engaged in their jobs. They had great advise on local restaurants which had regional food at great prices (as opposed to the tourist traps that are usually on the center square). Beds are very comfortable with fresh linens. Don't miss the breakfast - lots of fresh choices at a great price. parking was easy to access and secure - with spaces large enough to fit without risk of bumping other vehicles.
We've stayed in this hotel before, a number of years ago. This time we chose to stay there because of its situation just outside one of the main entrances to Evora. The hotel is clean and tidy, and thoughtfully designed inside. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The beds are great. The bar was inexpensive, as was the restaurant where the food is good albeit from a limited menu. But what puts this hotel head and shoulders above many, many others is the staff. Cheerful, friendly and extremely helpful without being pushy, they all had personalities. If you want a comfortable, relaxing place to stay after a day out, then this is the place for you. We will certainly be back soon.
Hi , we stay on a regular basis here when we visit Evora. Always welcoming , service good, clean safe parking. Excellent buffet breakfast . Will stay again good value . Provides what is needed large beds walk in shower. Slept well.
I would not consider this hotel to be dog friendly. There was no area inside where you could sit and enjoy a drink and meal with your dog. We ate a meal in our room which was microwaved and lukewarm, horrible. We declined breakfast and sat outside to have a coffee with our dog. Lucky it wasn't raining. 15euros extra charge for our dog was a rip off. Would not recommend to people travelling with a dog.
Nice hotel, with ample parking, but just outside the old walls of the old city -- prepare for a 10 min walk to the center, through roads with little pavements and crazy drivers whoosing past you... The hotel itself is modern, clean and confortable . The staff was pleasant and professional
enjoy Evora enjoy Evora enjoy Evora, you will find good experience to your life and try to visit much more in the Alentejo Zone, you will be happy visiting that location and you can add much things to you
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's close proximity to the old city made exploring (in the rain) very convenient, and the number of bars and restaurants available made our stay a memorable one.
A very good Ibis hotel. Staff are very polite and friendly. Situated in a good location only a few minutes walk from the old walled part of Evora and very easy to get back onto the motorway. Can recommend this hotel. Breakfast very good too.
We really love the Ibis hotels. The rooms are small, but they are functional, nicely decorated, comfortable and really clean. The one in Evora is perfectely located, just outside the old town walls. We strongly recommend!
Hotel is dated but functions well. The carpet in the corridor needs updating. The a/c in the room is not upto standard and at max just about cools. My unused towels were smelly (unbelievably!) but they were replaced within minutes after I complained. The parking arrangements for indoor parking is not clear as officially there is a charge but no controls seem in place. If you want some thing to eat in the evening then I recommend the churiscoria across the road. On the plus side the breakfast is good value and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
A clean and tidy hotel, with pleasant and helpful staff, located within walking distance to the historic centre of Evora, The rooms are of the typical Ibis style, a little on the small side, but ideal for a short break. We have used this hotel on several previous occasions and will stay there again when we visit this part of the Alentejo.
This place is located just outside the walls of the historic city, but only about 10 minute walk to the main square. Classic Ibis room, with good A/C and friendly and helpful staff. There is a free car park, but for added security an underground garage too... would recommend and return.
