The hotel staff were excellent, very helpful and the receptionist spoke good English and was able to explain about the special room we had been allocated. It was decorated with an Italian theme and showed products and map of Italy. Helped to make a good stay every more enjoyable. Worth asking if the room is free when you book.
I stayed one night at the hotel. I cannot say I was quite happy with the sound proofing of the room (My room was street facing though) but the breakfast buffet was very well laid out with fresh products.
No facilities whatsoever in the rooms - tv was pointless as the reception was so poor, no facilities for making tea, coffee etc in room. Breakfast selection could be expanded - and the coffee... the less that's said about it the better, I don't know how to politely describe how awful it was!
This hotel has some real potential. We loved our clean room and service from receptionist but there are few things that should be better. AC didn't work and it was to hot. Opened balcony door didn't help. Also, we arrived at breakfast around 9 and offer was limited. I am always looking forward for breakfast in hotel and this time i was little disappointed.
Great hotel if you want a standard "American" type hotel. Nice for a family of four or five, having two separate but connected rooms. Close to subways and buses that quickly take you into the city. Also a mall nearby with a few restaurants, a grocery story and some clothing chains. The only downside was that breakfast at the hotel was not worth 8 euro. Very basic and not really tasty.
Stayed here twice, had some of the worst nights sleep as a result of the location. Outside the window is a major motorway junction into the city, also bus, tram & metro travel hub, I hoped the noise would die down at night but it never stopped. Yes the room was double glazed but the nose was over 84db at 1am & 5am inside.... Other than that the staff were good but the breakfast one of the worse I've had in an Ibis.
The only plug in the room was filled by the TV so if you want to recharge anything unplug the TV. The Wifi was fine. Breakfast was plain. Quite a drive from new airport terminal the hotel although called Aero it is not near the airport
The location is excellent just 2 min from Metro & bus stop just outside the hotel. Rooms were very good but was problem with AC as it was not cooling enough i felt. However, overall experience is very good & value for money certainly.
Just the right location, with good public transport connections to both city (metroline no 3) and BUD airport (metro 3 until KÖKI end-station then direct busline 200). For late arrival or early flights (very early and very late hours when there is no metro service), the same bus goes direct to and from until Hatàr ut hub (site of Ibis Aero Hotel). A clean simple but comfortable place, really good value.
My wife and I arrived in Budapest late at night. This hotel is very well situated just opposite the exit from Hatar metro station (the first M3 metro stop on getting off the 200E bus from Budapest Airport. So we arrived at this hotel after a few minutes from retrieving our luggage.
location is good. super close to airport, It's easy for short overnight need. Also easy access to city centre. 2mins walk to metro station. M3 is next to hotel. There is a shoppingmall at the corner. not a fancy one but include small food court and supermarket.
Not new but clean hotel. Room was very comfotrable, bathroom clean. Very close to subway and supermarket. There is direct bus to airport but only early morning. Later you must use subway and bus. Wifi works very good.
We stayed here for last night of our trip to catch flight early AM. The location was near airport and there is mall near by. Very convenient to get buses and trams - right across the street was last stop of tram.
Good location for a short stay near the airport (BUD) and access to metro and bus terminal. Room is a bit small but enough for a short stay. Walk across the street to metro station with a nearby shopping mall. A good choice for people who just need to place to stay for a couple of days with transit at the Budapest airport.
We booked this hotel due to its relative proximity to the airport as we were arriving on the London flight which gets in just after midnight. About 15 minutes drive from the airport, we received a very warm welcome and were upgraded to a family room with balcony due to my Accor status. Despite proximity to the main road it was very quiet. Bed very comfortable and a good night's sleep was had. Breakfast in the morning - good choice, nice and fresh and plentiful. This isn't a luxury hotel by any means, but for a quick stopover it was perfect; suiting our purposes and exceeding our expectations, really! As with all ibis, the bathroom amenities were of the type affixed to the wall - we were prepared and brought our own shower gel/shampoo etc. The bus station is outside the door, as is the metro. Tickets for public transport available in the metro station.
We was very imprest how high level staff is working in this Ibis. We get all answers about a city and taxi fares in english very quickly. Also we get a free breakfast, because we was clients of a day. I would book this hotel for my next visit of Budapest.
The hotel is basic, location ok, between airport and center. Both cannot be reached by foot. THe rooms are ok, clean bathroom, and good beds. But airco quite noisy, and open window even more noisy. The breakfast was dreadful. Very dry food, no fresh fruits. Bad presentation.
When we arrived we were first given a room that has already been occupied. Apologies for the guy we woke up from his afternoon nap! Location is great but don't expect to get much sleep. We were very inlucky with a big group of tourists staying on the same floor as us getting up at 6.30 every morning hammering on each other's door and shouting to be let in. At 7am the cleaners turned up banging and gossiping very loudly on the corridor. They did not do much else than gossip and just about made the bed because the bathroom was dirty, our glasses were not washed up or replaced, the bins were not emptied. Based on the training of a new cleaner I had to listen to at crack of dawn on our second morning the toilets only get cleaned once the guests get them very dirty. The staff is unaware about the 24 hour food menu advertised in the rooms. At 10pm we were told the kitchen was closed. When we pointed out the 24hour markings next to certain dishes on the menu we were told the only thing they have is bread and eventually we were grudgingly given a ham sandwich with a salad that has been left out of the fridge for several days. The lettuce was inedable, completely dry, tasteless and it had a yellowish brown colour.
