Everything was fine. The only thing that I think that should be improved is the night menu that, in my opinion, is very poor. All the rest was very good. Personell polite and, friendly and very helpful, optimum cleaning and the parking is good and cheap.
Parking was good and secure. Walk along river was pleasant and convenient. Restaurants nearby. Shopping was available to fit any last minute needs. Room was clean and everything functioned well. Staff was excellent
It has nothing inside the room..no drinking water,no kettle and the room is so small. Cleanliness is accepted, location is good, staff ok.. Amenities are poor........go to the garage is very hard because it,s so narrow.
Ibis hotels are all the same, but this one enjoys a great location, 110 yards from Largo da Portagem, where the old city begins. The only problem we had was that the parkng garage was full when we arrived, but we got a parking spot in the next morning.
This hotel has a great value with a good location. The rooms are good enough for sleeping, the bathroom is reasonable with a good shower and is at walkeable distance from the city Center. The only issue was that the parking was full at the moment of our checking.
- Ibis Coimbra is located on the riverside road which is one of the high streets of the city. Traffic is quite bussy and finding the parking place is not easy. Do not make a mistake for searching the parking place around the hotel as we did and just get in the hotel garage. Ibis applies special daily rate, very convenient !!! - Our room was on the 5th floor, river side , with wonderfull river and park wiev... Clean , tidy and standard Ibis room.. - Wi-fi was very good in the room as well. - Hotel staff was very kind and helpfull. - After dinner outside , as the weather was cold and rainy , we came back hotel early and spent the time at the bar. It was Ok !!
Great budget hotel, good location. I know that there's upgrading of the rooms underway. We stayed in one of the older rooms but it was comfortable, The air con wouldn't go less than 22c. For UK travellers we found this a bit of a challenge. All staff were friendly and helpful liked happy our of 2 for 1
the hotel is a 5 minutes' walk from the heart of the city, quiet at night, and with all the comfort you expect for the very reasonable rate. They have an underground car park, but either you know your vehicle's dimensions very well, or it is of moderate size, Getting in and out is a bit of an adventure, but a Mercedes E break, BMW 5 or Honda CR-V can do this without problems. At the reception, staff were a bit cool, but you only see them twice (check-in and check-out)
Good price performance for the night spent in Coimbra.Nothing different from what we have expected. Good attention, small rooms, and good breakfast. Very good location at the river side with a nice vieuw of it.
Ibis Coimbra is ideally situated for a visit to Coimbra everything is in walking distance. The hotel is well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is available. The views from the rooms are fine for the room we had facing the river. The only small reservation is that the rooms are rather small, so don't bring big luggage.
This seemed to be a smaller room other than other Ibis hotels. Still it was a good one night stopover with all the basics; comfortable beds, helpful staff, and a very good location. You will have to pay for parking.
It was a great expecience at Coimbra. The Ibis Hotel there is a real nice. The location is simply amazing I do recommend. The city is a small, quiet and beautiful city, with an intense university life.
Very good for value. Clean and confortable room with desk and good bed. TV works fine also. I didn't take breakfast so I cannot valuate it. People working there is helpful and pleasant. Location is also good close to old city center
Great accomodation for a low price in Coimbra. A little farther down the road than other hotels, but totally manageable. The room was excellent and the accomodation was very nice. I only stayed for one night, but was very satisfied overall. Good wifi, charging cube for access to electricity. It's essentially a no-frills experience (toiletries are all a single gel, built into the bathrooms, breakfast is an additional charge, etc.) - but if you're just looking for a basic place to stay while visiting Coimbra, at a reasonable price, this place is for you.
This was a typical Ibis room. The rooms are small and framed, but clean. The location was great and only a few minutes walk from the main pedestrian area. Breakfast was okay but some hot items would be welcome.
The Receptionists were very professional, attentive and competent. Room very quiet. Welcome drink offered. Late check-out was available on a weekend. Also, a free city map was given to us. Overall, very good!!
Ibis is an excelent cost-benefit relation to who look for a comfortable and clean hotel with no lux. Hotel is very well located near to the main points, good breakfast quality and timetable. Fast check in and check out and excellent attendace by all staff.
Room was small but perfect for one person. Very clean and well lighted. Electrical updated so you can easily charge phones, etc Loved that it was across the street from a leafy park on the river and the good Italian restaurant Restaurante Italia. I found the Wifi to be unsecured and their suggested workaround not possible on a mobile phone. They give you ID and password so maybe sometimes it is working as it should.
The stay was comfortable, the room was compact but clean and quiet. The check in was a bit slow because of the loud background music - I could not hear what the receptionist was saying and she could not hear me. The location was good for the centre of the city - the river was just across the road. The breakfast incurred an additional charge per person. The breakfast was good as it had a very good choice of bread, freshly squeezed orang juice and drinks but would have been very much better if it had included some hot food such as bacon, scrambled or boiled eggs. Overall an enjoyable stay.
Located in front of the main river and a park. Very good access to restaurants and the touristic area. You can reach the train station in 10 minutes walking. Staff very friedly and room comfortable. Good price.
