This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel for five years and were very pleased to note that a significant improvement has been made in that time. The room and bathroom were of a very good standard. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is situated right in the centre with public parking opposite and there is a reasonable choice of eating places/ bars within easy walking distance. Overall, we were very impressed and don't think it will be another five years before we return again.

Good hotel. Good breakfast. Security a little lax. Very easy for anyone to walk in off the street without being challenged. Well situated though parking was initially difficult opposite the hotel when we arrived Saturday p.m. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

we arrived in the town with no access to hotel. All streets were bloicked off for a large market. An e-mail notification prior to visit would have been helpful. After lenghty and tiring time trying to park opposite hotel we pointed this out to manager who agreed. We agreed on complimentary breakfast which was restricted on choice. On a positive note hotel very good position in the town with plenty of places to eat nearby.

Good centrally located hotel, which was updated last year. Beds / pillows very comfortable and good showers with plenty of hot water. Staff very helpful. Behind the hotel is a square with a selection of bars & restaurants so you don't have to go too far to eat.

We stayed in St. Guentin on the way to visit Guise and the Familistere. Very pleased with the IBIS (which is where we like to stay in general). I have some mobility problems and the staff were very accomodating in finding us an appropriate room Parking is in a public lot close by but you have to feed the meter. excellent restaurant suggestion Chez Jean, right around the corner with excellent food and price/quality. And all this for 52e a night; can;t eat it.

Staying at the Ibis hotel was just a brilliant position, slap bang in the centre of the town, right opposite the Bricillica. With plenty of restaurants near buy it was an ideal place for our last night of our holiday before the thought of the M26, M25 & M1 home next day. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice and well worth the money.

I have been a regular visitor to this hotel for several years now. I am pleased to be able to say that, on each occasion, the reception staff have been efficient and always friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean and comfortable and the ample breakfast buffet kept well topped - up. It is well located in the city centre and convenient for the Cathedral, shops and restaurants.

Lovely place to stay, comfy beds, stunning location. The beds were comfy and the hotel was just fine for a budget stay. The hotel is opposite the cathedral which is a stunning building. a great stopover on the way down.

Hotel is in a good location. Web site says the hotel has perking but it does not. Air conditioning not working just the fan in first room allocated. second room allocated nothing worked and the third room just the same as the first. 15 min satisfaction guarantee not mentioned once. Not a good experience

A basic Ibis but wonderfully located with views over the basilica. A shame that there is no restuarant but it is very much in the town centre. Breakfast was rather inadequate but I think that is because we followed a coach party of American tourists so there was little left to eat .

This hotel is in a great location, right in the city centre near restaurants and shops. With the 24 hour reception it is great for late arrivals. Public parking across the road is free after 7pm to 8:30am and on Sundays and public holidays. The room and bed were very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. My only complaint was the shower - temperature fluctuated up and down and bit, and low pressure. But this would not put me off staying here again.

We have stayed at the Ibis Budget hotel in St Quentin several times & this is a really modern, spotless 2 star hotel which I would thoroughly recommend. I was going to re-book it as a one night stopover, but noted that the 3 star Ibis Basilique was advertised at the same price- so for a change I booked the Basilique. The Basilique is a stones throw from the main square, which is an advantage to the budget hotel (which is approx 8 mins walk- but not a problem at all), but the parking is only free in the on-street parking area right opposite from 1900 to 0830 hours, whereas there is free on street parking outside the budget (or a hotel paying car park onsite). The Basilique is perfectly adequate, if a little dated inside (eg the corridors & carpets are a little drab, & the bathroom washbasin an unusual 1980's style bluey-turquoise. The rooms are functional & a reasonable size, but the room was very hot. The aircon did not seem to cool the room even turned down to 10 degrees c.The bar area & breakfast area were pleasant & breakfast was good. However, we still much prefer the more modern & stylish Ibis Budget with its free onroad parking, modern fittings & airy feel- but please note it does not have a bar- but there are plenty in town to choose from. The old part of the town is very attractive & so the place is well worth visiting as a stop over. In summary, the Budget is a better hotel than the Basilique.

Small room, but clean and comfortable. Only problem was that it was hot and stuffy and if we opened the window, we had the noise of teenagers hanging around in the bus shelters opposite our room, they were very loud and kept it up well into the early hours of the morning. Plus Sterling Moss wannabees tearing up and down the road. Not the hotels fault, I know, but in future I would request a room away from the front of the hotel if possible.

This hotel is in a good location near to the town centre. It is reasonably priced with larger than average rooms for Ibis Hotels. The Staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was the usual high standard for Ibis and was replenished constantly.

Well situated near Basilica and main shops and square, convenient parking opposite. An interesting place to explore and good local restaurant nearby. Room comfortable and quiet. Breakfast generous and fresh. Staff friendly.

We found the Ibis Hotel in Saint Quentin Basilique very ideal for our one night stop over for visiting the war graves. Behind the hotel were several nice restaurants in the square. Parking was ok as it was pay and display and free all day Sunday. We would recommend this hotel for a similar short stay.

I have stayed in this hotel many times for work and pleasure. The people are always friendly and it is very convenient to the town square where ther are several good restaurants. All the city buses stop right at the hotel and the train station is a 10-15 minute walk away but there are several bus routes that stop in the station or on the road right above

I stayed at the Ibis Basilique for 4 nights with friends and found it to be a very good hotel. Staff were helpful, room was clean and made up every day to a high standard and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate, at an extra charge though.

The room was fresh looking and spacious, bathroom was also pleasant. Although room service IGNORED the 'do not disturb' sign and still entered and tidied the room, this I found unacceptable. Windows let in a lot of noise.
