Frankfurt is an incredibly well connected city transportwise. Though very easy to access, the area around this venue is totally for business, not a touristic area. Hotel rooms are very good, comfortable.
This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel when visiting relatives in nearby Hausen.. The hotel is easily reached from Frankfurt' Hbf (main railway) station using the U4 and U6/7to get to the Industriehof U-Bahn stop . An Einzelfahrt ticket from the machine in the U-Bahn area at the station costs just 2.80 euros, Including the 200 metres walk from Industriehof U Bahn stop it takes approx. 30 minutes to reach the hotel from Frankfurt Hbf. We found the multilingual staff polite helpful and professional . Our quiet room was kept spotless during our 4 night stay. We enjoyed several reasonably priced tasty light meals and drinks in the bar/ TV lounge adjacent to the Reception area with prompt table service. We had the buffet breakfasts each day. These were tasty and good value especially on the Sunday when our two grand children joined us and their breakfasts were free! We found time to do some shopping in central Frankfurt easily reached on U4 or U6/U7.(There is a selection of helpfui leaflets in the Reception area.) We also shopped at the Nordwestzentrum . This modern shopping mall has a wide range of shops and eating places spread over two levels. It is easily reached taking the 72 or73 bus from the bus stop at the Industriehof U-Bahn stop. The bus stop is on the opposite side of the road from the Ibis Hotel.
I found my stay at Ibis Frankfurt Messe West was everything I expected. I had once stay there before and found the Staff to be very professional, helpful and greets you with a welcoming smile on their faces. This last time I found the same. Please let them know what a great job their doing and keep them motived as ever. Enjoyed my stay and I will tell friends.
This moderate-priced hotel is clean and comfortable. After several stays, we have never been disappointed. It is in the suburbs, not the city center, but is served by the U-Bahn and 2 bus lines, with station and stops very near. Free wi-fi in public areas and a public computer are also a plus.
Very high price with an average service: - missing towels (only 1 small towel during 3 days of stay); - very hot in the room and the airco was not working properly - no cooling at all; - bar charges extra fee for the card payments...
Check in and check out was friendly & efficient. Hotel location is very good for a rail link into the city centre. Bedroom facing back of hotel on 4th floor was clean, comfortable & quiet. Breakfast was simple but of good quality.
Easy to reach from motorways, ample convenient parking, 5 minutes from bus and U-bahn connections. The hotel is situated in a quite area and there's nothing for tourists within 10 minutes walking distance, but it's only a few minutes on bus or U-bahn to a range of shops and sights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free Wifi.
All the usual Ibis facilities in a quiet location, but minutes from bus and Ubahn. Good parking facilities. easy access from motorway and only 15 minutes to airport by car/taxi. With Ubahn you can be in the centre in 10 minutes.
Arrived to be greeted by staff who knew me. Immediately booked me into the room even though I was early. No questions. I am a silver Accord Club member, makes it all so easy. There was a railway station staff strike that day, and getting an S-Bahn from the Airport was difficult but I circumvented the difficulty by using the U-Bahn from the Hauptbahnhof, and was at the hotel in now time.
It's easy to go there and easy to go to the center of the city. Parking is easy and free near the hotel; breakfast fantastic; confortable room and bathroom; free wifi in the room; kind people .....it's my fourth time in this hotel and I'll be back again.
This gives you the amenities you'd expect from an Ibis, but better than many in terms of quality of rooms and fittings and convenience of parking. Its key strengths though are its location in q quiet area, but 3 minutes walk from bus and Ubahn links - under 10 minutes to the centre of Frankfurt - and the helpfulness of the staff.
Very conveniently located, just across the road you can find the Industriehof U-bahn station, which is just a few stops away from the city centre. I stayed there during the fair period, the price is very reasonable!
Room smelt badly of cigarettes. I am a non smoker which was unfortunate. The room 128 was also next to the house maids room and they made a fair bit of noise whilst we were still resting. Aside from that the hotel was well run and i thought it was very good value for money.
Much too overpriced. Next time I come to the Pro Light and Sound Show I am staying at Bad Soden Ramada Inn. Half price. Better Service. Nicer people. Restaurant. I arrived one two hours early and asked if I could check in sooner and was told I had to pay ANOTHER 70 Euro! Instead, at theRamada in Bad Soden I was given an early arrival for FREE!
A very clean, tidy hotel. I booked late expecting to pay more. It offers great value for money, Its in a great location to get to the exhibition Centre. (15 mins max by underground) The station is across the road. Very comfortable beds make for a good nights sleep and its quiet.! The breakfast is tasty and you can choose from a wide range of items. Good coffee too.I would recommend and return myself. Probably will on my next trip to Frankfurt.
We stayed here last year and thought the hotel, facilities and staff were great. Unfortunately this year I had to leave the restaurant / bar area early one night as the staff were smoking in the breakfast room and the smell was making me sick.
I've spent 2 nights at this hotel. Reception was friendly, accomodation was very fast. Room was big and light. But floor was very dusty and few insects crawled around inside. Clicking noise in heater makes it difficult to sleep well.
Could be more loyal towards accor members. Changes re pre-paid reservation suggestions were not taken in consideration. Nevertheless staff was friendly and the accomodation provides enough quality towards price.
Very nice, clean hotel, with very good breakfast. Only one inconvenience are rooms with windows going on the big communication streat - noisy. But if having room on the oposite site of hotel - perfect. Generaly I recomend.
This time, I would like to share my experience in staying at Ibis Frankfurt City West last week. Although this was my 2nd stay in this hotel property, I could not really remember how to reach this hotel property. Basically, the nearest stop from the hotel is Industriehof (line 6 or line 7), approx. 200 m from the hotel. To reach it, you have to stop at Bockenheimerwarte station (line 4) from Frankfurt Hbf and change line, either to line 6 (to Heerstrabe) or line 7 (to Hausen) and stop at Industriehof station. The station (Industriehof) is located outdoor (in the middle of the road; not underground) and once the train submerges to the surface, you would immediately see the hotel is in your left hand side right before the train starts stopping in Industriehof (You can't miss not seeing it should you come from Frankfurt Hbf). Upon checking in, I immediately notice the hotel lobby was empty and I saw only one staff was working in the reception area. However, when I told her I would like to check in, she told me to wait for a moment, without even looking at me, as I thought she would like to continue working on something. A minute later, she processed my check-in and within twelve (12) minutes, I was already in my room. The room was ok, clean and everything was functioning well at the time we entered the room. The 2nd room we booked was more or less in the same condition as ours. Although our room was facing the road, we barely hear any outside noise from our room so I guess the soundproof worked perfectly. Since we only stayed here for one night, there was nothing much to explore as our time was fairly limited. We had to leave the hotel property the next morning around 8:30 am. We also decided not to try breakfast at the hotel as we had been traveling for almost two weeks and Frankfurt was the last city in our trip so we were tired of having breakfast in the hotel. The hotel location was not too far away from the central but it was not so convenient to reach to the hotel due to the fact there was no direct line servicing nearby station from the hotel (from Frankfurt Hbf). However, to go back to the airport was not a problem as we took line 6 to Hauptwache and changed line to line 8 or line 9 there which took us directly to Frankfurt Flughafen (Frankfurt Int'l Airport) without having to change line anymore. Overall, I would highly recommend this particular hotel to everyone who is looking for quality (inexpensive) hotel accommodation in Frankfurt.
