Very good location, walking distance to Christmas markets, and other sites. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only bad thing was that internet was 10 a day for One device. Breakfast was ok. Was able to check in early.
We had no problems with noisy neighbours and hotel was conveniently sited. A problem we had as with other hotels of this and other companies was the supply of cold air was with a not the quietest of fans and the air was not chilled. Contrary to the request notice we opened the window and found a supply of cold air.
I reserved one double bed room, but after I entered the room, I found it's a two single bed room...(check-in staff didn't tell me about that, she should know, right?) I called staff, she said it's IMPOSSIBLE to give me a double bed room tonight. Disappointed and not happy about that. Staff didn't give me internet code card initiatively, since I had showed my Accor GOLD member card at check-in. When I wanted to use wifi, I found it's not free to everyone, I have to go to reception desk and ask again about the internet. I think staff should provide internet code card to me after I show my gold member card. Besides, there are annoying fly in the room, and the pillow is too soft.(but compare to no double bed room, it's no big deal). First POOR experience of my 4th IBIS hotel stay. Will not back.
WE have been visiting Drezden for a weekend. The hotel is ok and everything was good. The staff is very pleasant and the biggest attitude of the hotel. Generally all was ok except one pain point. We have been traveling with 9month kid, who is crawling and the carpet was no the cleanest one. Our son has been limited to move only on the bed.
The hotel is very close to the Bahnhof and 10 minutes walking from the Historical center. However, the price in summer is almost twice and the room small (comparing to others Ibis hotels). Buffet excepcional (breafast). The two others "twins" hotels were closed and I was not noticed: it is unpolite to offer book a room in a hotel which is closed for the season.
Stayed again at the Lienstein, Dresden - our 6th visit. As usual rooms good, staff excellent BUT NO BAR THIS YEAR despite the website advertising it. Along with many of the guests we used to return in the evening and enjoy a convivial nightcap at the bar, meeting other guest and generally having a lovely end to the. Now you have to walk down to the next Ibis hotel to use the bar and here the staff informed us that soon this one will close!! Spoilt our annual Dresden trip a bit. As the website shows bar facilities avalable onsite the service we purchased was not as stated and we are claiming a refund as the "product" was not what we purchased.
I was with a group of 3 and the hotel stay was great. Good price, friendly helpful staff and a great central location. Parking is a bit of an issue as the hotel is in the centre, however there are reasonably priced car parks near by. It is in the town centre so there is some noise outside in the early evening and in the morning as shops set up and open. I really enjoyed my stay
Nothing special about this hotel. Localization is good, but all hotels in the city stay in the same local. Reception and breakfast are regular. There is no parking in the hotel, and the signs in the street are not good for car users.
The hotel was clean and in an excellent location (very close to the centre, shops and train station). However, there was no free wifi and the staff on the reception was not too attentive and helpful. The tourist tax was not included in the price of the room - would have preferred It if it had been.
+ The hotel maintains high levels of service offering reasonable prices. The rooms and bathrooms are modest in size, but extremely well arranged. The location is perfect, being at walking distance of the historical centre and still easy to find affordable parking for 6 euro a day (or free of charge at 7 minutes walk beyond the railway); it is also very close to the main railway station. - Some minor service problems: Despite that we included breakfast in our fare some members of the staff (both at the restaurant and at the reception desk) persistently asked that the breakfast should be paid. It took some dialogue before the issue being settled properly.
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Nice clean bathrooms and environment. Centrally located right in the heart of shopping center. Fantastic breakfast with lot of varieties. Only thing i felt missing was an mini refrigerator or mini bar in the Room.
The Hotel is located centrally in Prager Strasse. Most sights are in walking distance. It's fully air conditioned. Nice, clean rooms. Staff friendly and charming. Wifi works well, but you have to pay unless you have a club card. Overall, it's good value for money. I would certainly use it again.
Friendly and forthcomming staff and easy access to hotel. Definately worth another stay away from the herds of other of my countrymen, they usually stop in Berlin. Advice for tours in the area were very helpfull
Never having visited Dresden before I was a little apprehensive, no problems, hotel close to station & in the main square, no traffic & easy access to all amenities, hotel arranged tickets for the hop on hop off bus, great move, allowed us to view & select where we wanted to spend more time, great.
Very good location and crew. Many options of restaurants nearby and very close to central railway station. We had a nice stay there and recomend for other people to visit Dresden and stay with IBIS, with 3 options there.
Three nights in the Lilienstein, but had little time to use hotel facilities e.g. restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Friendly staff and very clean. Convenient for both the main station and city centre.
The hotel is one of three almost identical IBIS Hotels in the centre of the city in a large pedestrian zone covering much of the area destroyed in the war. It was standard IBIS fare - clean and sufficient for short stays. Booking in and checking out were easy and the staff were friendly. Really enjoyed exploring the city for the first time and was greatly impressed by the large number of beautiful buildings, both originals and re-builds. Also lots of good bars and restaurants with reasonable prices.
One of three Ibis hotels occupying Soviet era tower blocks, this hotel is well placed between the railway station and city centre. The hotel could do with modernisation - the lifts are small and slow, the carpeting in the landings is tired and worn. Room itself was fine although the shower ran hot and col simultaneously. Big drawback is the lack of free wifi (except on lobby computers)
The Hotel is good. The room is good also and not so small. The location is very good. The problem of the hotel is: you need to pay for internet in room and even in reception! There is no internet free! If it is not a problem for you, i recommend the hotel. If it is, you should choose another one.
The localization of the hotel is perfect, very close to all main attractions. However, hotel staff is not very polite or helpful... You won't hear "good morning", "good bye" or "how can I help you" much... ;-)
