There were no towels kept in the bathroom on Day 1 which was a great discomfort. No tea, coffee machines or ironing board and no reasonable sound proofing either making entire stay terrible experience. All such return at price of Euro 160 per day.
As a regular Ibis user I was pleased with the standard of service, facilities, cleanliness and spacious room. My only slight reservation at this particular hotel was the unusual lack of an English channel on the TV as you can normally get BBC World or CNN. However, with the free Wi-Fi and my laptop I could get the news etc. in English with my laptop so it wasn't a big problem.
Like all hotels in the Paris area, of course the relation price/quality is very, very poor: but on a relative point of view, of course, you are in the Capital's area. Concerning the general aspect, it corresponds to the typical cliché of the brand, so if you like the genre (like I personally do), you will find all positive aspects: very good service and friendly personnel, all possible services available like WiFi, restaurant, parking, and very comfortable sleeping (though momentary works in the building at the moment of my stay). Negative aspect is that this hotel being in an administrative and activity area, I don't see it adequate for tourism or for families, but mainly for business' travellers. And immediate neighbourhood does'nt offer much. The area has anyway very good public transport services to drive almost anywhere. Positive impressions, anyway!
The hospitality of the reception desk, the staff in general, the room, etc... Everything is worth every euro spent Even the location (not in the center) is superb. Quite and calm, and with excellent connection by bus directly to La Defense train/metro/tram/bus station. And, if you want to go to Disneyland, this station works perfectly (a train every 10 minutes!)
for price, rating, costumer service and location very good Just need some improvements like kind of hard to know where is the hotel entrance cos is a little confusing with the restaurant entrance....door lock not working in wc (room 106)not good when you have small children and shower a bit slippery at exit, apart off these I enjoyed the stay
Cleaning team entered room regarding label on the door DO NOT DISTURB. At 8 o'clock at breakfast there were no fruits and only baguette. No other breads. The hotel is far from metro station. Walking distance is about half na hour. To get to metro (or to the city) taxi is needed.
I stayed for a short night. I selected the place because I had a meeting very close by. As it is an IBIS I was not expecting a five stars hotel. I was right ! Staff is OK in average, some very nice but some really close to the acceptable limit... specially at reception on checkin in the evening. Night man and well as the ones for check out or the restaurant staff were nice. Food is average or even a bit below. Price is far too high for what it is but maybe the location which is really not brillant except if you have to do business next door.
