Vero bad service. Eccetto for the kind male receptionist the dame who gave me the room after i paid a very high rate on last minute booking at the hotel gave me the worst room, milioni problems rooms not clean at all
I think the above says it all really, the air con control in our tiny room was super glued to 20 degrees despite it being in the mid 30's outside, making sleep nigh on impossible. Did I mention the tiny room? We booked for a double with a single, well the shelf over the single fell down during the first night, ending up with the telephone on my son! As we were passing through we tend to leave the suitcase open, but in here there was no room to do this, making it very difficult to get clothes out. Breakfast (approx. 20 euros for the 3 of us was pathetic, with the coffee machine running out of milk, then the juice machine ran out of juice in sympathy. The breakfast (if you can call it that) consisted to 3 different types of pastry, DIY boiled eggs & some ham. Hardly what the intrepid traveller needs prior to walking 13 miles around Paris on one of the hottest days of the year. Plus point it had good access to the RER & shops.
Good location near the airport, free airport shuttle (although the bus stop is 2 minutes walking from the hotel). Good choice proposals in the restaurant And classical room like in all Ibis hotel (not too big , but sufficient for a good night). All what I was looking for, so perfect for me.
We stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 3 kids we booked 2 rooms my kids didn't complain we really like it comfy bed very quiet and close to disneyland resort which was the purpose of our stay. We would definitely stay again if we go back to disneyland. Tips: don't park on the basement where you have to pay, we parked on the side of the hotel for free.
The hotel is dated, some patches were made, but it is not enough, a new layer of paint doesn't solve everything... It was very hot in the room, the airco system didn't provide cool air and is also placed on the wrong location (in the hallway) where the wall of the bathroom is blocking the fresh air coming into the room. The windows do open (they are also clearly worn down) but then you have a lot of noise from the road (big road next to the hotel, in Paris that means traffic day and night). The room was very tiny. For a big city it is normal but seeing that you were just outside the city the room could be a somewhat bigger, except walking round the bed (close to the bed) there was no room. The carpet in the room was ok, not longly renewed I guess, but in the hall it was so worn down that it wasn't pretty and there was a really bad smell in the hallway. The parking was very secure yet it was a bit scary driving into the parking, it is concrete floor with quite a steep hill there are concrete ridges that makes the floor less slippery but when you need to stop to feed your ticket to the machine when exiting the parking even with your handbrake on the car has tenancies to slip. Everything is very doable but I would not recommend for inexperienced drivers. The most negative point is that the parking garage for the hotel is at -2 and you don't have an elevator to go up, so you have to take all your luggage up by the stairs, you exit the parking right before the hotel, we were lucky it was a sunny day but in the rain it would be very annoying. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We have stayed once or twice a year since this hotel opened. This visit and the last visit were marred by a dirty toilet on both occasions, which had not been cleaned to a hygienic standard. Once might have been an oversight, a second time would suggest that standards have fallen. The rooms are starting to look a bit tatty - for example, there were encrustations/rust around the base of the shower screen.
Long waits at the reception desk on several occasions. Incoming calls get priority over people checking in and out. Tables often not cleaned out on time during breakfast. Hotel room key card expired too soon twice. Vending machine with broken glass didn't work well and didn't accept €2,- coins. Not really a problem if the reception desk had change from a €10,- banknote. Overall, Not a very nice stay, but at least the room was clean.
I arrived on the same day a an enormous group of American school children who took over the hotel lobby, lifts, bar area etc. and whilst very loud when addressing one another, completely ignored everyone else and their needs to the point of talking through you to address their friends behind. Unfortunate timing, I know but frustrating all the same. The other thing I noticed is that despite being on a non-smoking floor (the 4th), the corridor on my floor continuously smelled of fresh cigarette smoke. This smell penetrated into the bedrooms and especially the bathroom. It wasn't that awful stale smell of old smoking, it was fresh smoke permeating the A/C systems I guess. The reception staff were all excellent and attentive, great service there. The restaurant staff had to cover the bar too and were rarely able to cover both adequately. Great service when their attention was caught though. My experience is that Ibis hotels vary enormously in their quality of service. I would place this one in the mediocre category.
Hotel is OK, the room was a little old, but clean, servis is OK. It s near by Disneyland, and if you stay in this hotel, you have discount for the ticket for Disneyland. Food is OK too. If you plan to go to Disneyland or visit Paris for two, tree days this hotel is Ok for good price!
