It is a good hotel to stay in Brussels, very clean and tidy. The staff is polite and the place is cosy. It is near two subway stations, the localization is very good. There are lots of restaurants and markets in the neighborhood.
The hotel is located centrally and this is the only thing to say in favour of it. The rooms are small and basic and I have yet to come access a smaller bathroom. The bar was noisy and unwelcoming. Breakfast was basic. Not a hotel that I would use again.
The Ibis hotel was just what we expected. It was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. You can find many good restaurants within a block or two and the metro was about a block. The bar was open when we returned, so we were able to enjoy a night cap before going up to our room. There is also continental or buffet breakfast available. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Ibib.
I am a constant guest of this hotel. Price/quality ratio is well balanced, friendly and very attentive staff (especially I want to thank Zen at the reception, he is highly professional and always smiling). Might be better to enhance breakfast varieties, though.
Typical IBIS that provides all you need for a short stop. Clean, nice staff my only issues were the thin walls and a large arrival of Spanish Old Age Pensioners that needed to shout at each other to be heard. Also breakfast room not enough coffee machines to handle 60 people all at once.
Hotel is very handy for the major attractions in the centre of Brussels being only a few minutes walk from the Bourse then a few more to the Grote Markt (Grande Place), Mannekin Pis etc. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms clean and comfortable, as you'd expect from IBIS / Accor.
This hotel is in the middle of it all! You can get to most of the tourist spots just by walking for a few minutes either way! The room was clean, and I have no complaints about it. I went to the bar once and service was great. I have already recommended this hotel to some friends who are going to be in Brussels in just a few weeks.
This hotel is located not far from the centre of Brussels and a few minutes walk from public transport connections to the main railway stations, which it turn give access to other parts of Europe and the main airport. It is in a quiet back street so there is little noise. The centre of Brussels (the Grand Place) can be easily reached with a 5 minute walk, which means that the busy restaurant district very accessible.
My stay was just average. I struggled the first days with using the card in the lift. The welcoming was good at the reception with the hotel staff. However i realized that the bathroom was a little bit tiny, but i guess other rooms might be different. Secondly we struggled to find where the wardrobe was . We finally realized that it was behind the TV location, not very easy to see at first hand. However this was not a proper wardrobe as there is no door to close it. I would like to have a wardrobe that can be closed .
Hotel is perfect. Staff is sympathy. Check in very quickly. Situation of hotel is perfect, 5 min. from Grand Place. Room was nice and clean. If we come in Brussel once more, we stay in this hotel again.
Generally very good as expected in the right location in Brussels with the right wirless and TV services free of charge and a nice breakfast and easy to get to from Gare du Midi and the the EU Commission offices in tube station Beaulieu but the toilet leaked.
My wife and I, touring cyclists on a long bicycling trip, spent a couple of nights here in May, 2017. Location is central but quiet. It's close to much of historic Brussels. The staff place our bicycles safely in their store room for the duration of our stay. They were all cheerful, accommodating, and sharp. Bedding, of which Accors/Ibis is very proud, is a thick duvet, which is either on (too hot) or off (too cold); regular blankets would be better. Highly recommended Ibis hotel.
The hotel is in the middle of brussel, perfect location. I have wonderful time strolling around the city to the square, hard rock and many more interesting places. All location are walking distance. highly recommended
Comfortable, affordable, clean, good quality of sleep and friendly service. Invoice/ receipt had mixed data that was not checked by staff and that creates unnecessary hassle. Breakfast service needs improvement in quality and quantity.
Best points of this IBIS hotel are the beds and location. St Catherine is a fine location, with lots of shops and good restaurants. The rooms are nicely redecorated, but are still small. The bathroom is also small, but clean. Pity that details, like the skewd towel hangers, are unnoticed. The new IBIS beds are so comfy, that we are considering to buy one for our home.
I recently stayed with my 8 year old daughter. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The breakfast is classic buffet style with some nice healthy choices. My daughters favourite was the make your own waffle machine. Very excited by that. The hotel is in a good location 5-8 minute from the Grand place. St Catherine church is at the rear of the hotel. There are lots of really nice bars and restaurants around the Church area. A real out door eating area. Very beautiful when we were there. I would definitely stay here again. You can pay more for another hotel but for a short break, weekend stay this is perfect.
Have stayed in many of this family of hotels - this one is distinctly average for the brand. Location was good but little else to recommend. Didn't help that there were road works immediately outside for the entire stay.
We have been to the hotel. Four times we have always been welcomed by all the staff. Looking forward to going back in the summer. We had a great time looking round the Christmas markets and going on the big wheel, and having lots of nice meal out .
I stayed here before and the deal is clear and simple with Ibis: location, price, clean, comfortable and quiet. I recommend rooms in high floors, I was on the 6th and with internal view so there is no noise and you get a great sleep. The location is excellent for tourism and for getting to train stations, supermarkets and great restaurants. Will definitely return. Service at reception was excellent too!
Good location easy access to tram/metro. Refurbished hotel with good wifi. Very poor breakfast not worth 15 euros. Ran out of food, hot water for making tea came out of the same machine as the coffee and was brown coloured before the tea bag was added! Staff in restaurant were unhelpful at breakfast when looking for cereal bowls ( which had run out) so we looked for the staff coming out from the kitchen and were told to go to reception. Not customer focussed at all. Not worth 15 euros I will return to having my breakfast in the local café at 5 euros with excellent food and service.
