Very close to the station; clean hotels. Basic hotels suitable for quick overnight stay. Rooms are quite small. Strategic location near to train station, bus station. Not so much food places around the hotel. Good hotels overall.

Friendly staff, clean room, up to Ibis' usual high quality. The location is ideal for the station, and for travelling across Dusseldorf to the Alstadt. Ibis hotels are in my opinion consistently good everywhere and this was no exception.

As ever Ibis did a good job. The blond lady on reception was great and very helpful. Could not ask for more. Well done team. Always impressed with the Ibis hotels and shall bee booking with them on my trip to Krakow and Warsaw in the next two weeks.

Bathroom was a little small but was clean and functional. Did not detract from the overall experience. The staff were very friendly and socialised with us while we drank at the bar and spoke fluently. Location was very close to train station which wade moving around the city easy and not too far to walk to the old town and the river bank. Would use it again

Good location near the Central Train Station, convenient for train travellers. Quiet and clean. Bathroom is very tiny, room is also very small. The price for the room is subject to change, so its better to book in advance, and sometimes you may find the cheaper rate on other websites like booking.com than on accorhotels.com or ibis.com. Also these websiites are less convenient for users

I have no suggestion to do because everything works very well. This into account, of course, of the hotel category. The only thing I can say is that in the bathroom there was only one (1) towel. At the reception they told me that it was a standard thing, but very kindly gave me a second towel.

Close this place and convert to a real Hotel. This is like camping 1950, unworthy of the IBIS brand. IN the future I will call ahead to check if IBIS is acceptable. Any IBIS Budget is better than this.

Completly wrong, impolite management without any professional attitude...better to pay $10 a glass of wine with pleasure anywhere, thant to sleep side of this kind of robots, calling some time 15" to resolve any issue/Accor...a kind of "Welcome" in German!

It's a two star hotel, what can we say. They offer the minimum necessary but it's a clean and tidy space. The cleaning staff should wear uniform as we never know exactly if they are actually who they state they are. Rooms are tiny, prices are normal for a German town, internet is for free but normal speed. For young or single lads there is loads of fun stuff to do in the vicinity, even though some people might consider it a dodgy area due to the table dance night clubs.

2

It is the worst Ibis hotel we've ever stayed. Room is very tight, there is no enough space to live in. I've never seen that kind of small bathroom before. Staff are also not nice enough friendly. I have wait too much for check-in. They arranged a wrong room for me and my family. Never again!

I stayed in your hotel on 11-12Oct. On 12Oct earliest morning (around 05:00 local time), I saw lot of police and fireman outside the hotel. So I went down to the lobby and found an fire next to the hotel's coffee shop. Than I went back to my room and packed all stuffs for check out immediately. Although have fire in hotel, no hotel staffs made announcement for hotel guests. That was a very serious safety issue. Finally, I only can found fireman knocked the room door to alert in house guest.

I usually have a great stay at Ibis Dusseldorf City but this time, things did not go as they should. The free wifi is always reliable and more than fast enough for work even downloading biggish files. On this trip for reasons I cant figure out, the Wifi in my room was non-functional - it was there, but waits of 5 mins for a page to load, or else not connecting or just disappeared. Going down to lobby, everything connected as it should and wifi service was as nomal. Very frustrating. I asked at the front desk and the person there Marianne was not at all interested in my problem!! Whether I had wifi or not was of no concern to her!! And she assured me that it was working for her. This was not helpful and a real surprise since the other staff have always gone out of their way to fix little problems or to make a stay better. I was also not afforded the privileges of Club Accor by Marianne - just a surly attitude when I check in unlike the welcome I get from the other staff. So I guess this one bad experience will not stop me from returning to Ibis Dusseldorf City but certainly I would try to limit any interaction with this staff member either at checkin or when trying to get a problem resolved.

Dusseldorf was my last stop in 2 weeks journey, I stayed in Ibis hotels in Rome, Vienna, and Abu Dhabi during my trip, all of the above hotels were great but this one should not bear the name of IBIS. it is not a hotel or a motel, it is a S*** hole. It was a hot day and the A/C did not work, I asked the front desk to move me and she said " A/C is off in all room, because NEXT WEEK will get cold !!! ", I said do your guest have to suffer because of next week? and in August will you tell the guest it will get cold in January? . After sweating in the room for a while, I had to go out walk around even though I was tired. in Short, it was a miserable day and night. Very old building, shower room meant for small built bodies, If I ever come back to this area, I will not think about Ibis.

3

The hotel is nearly exactly as described and expected, convenient location at the rear of the main railway station, clean, bright interior, rooms exactly to specification. Only problem is that the night receptionist does not have the capability to serve at the bar, and check in 40 people at the same time. Its a bit frustrating arriving late at night, and not being able to get a drink from the bar, because there are no staff.

The hotel is on a different side of the main railway station and only a few minutes walk away. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly lady. The room is quiet and spacious and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small but clean. There was a fair selection for breakfast and I was pleased that hot eggs were served. Strangely I did not see any toaster and it would be nice to have some hot toasts too. Due to its proximity to the main railway station, this hotel is ideal for people who need to take early trains or flights. For the money I have paid, it was certainly good value for money. If I return to Dusseldorf again I would certain to stay there.

it was one of my worst stays in any Accor hotel. Reception was friendly but whatever can go wrong, went wrong. I was at the hotel by 5:45 Pm and I was forced to pay in advance, otherwise she refused to handover the room card to me. As Gold member I didn't get advantages. Room card didn't work. wheels s of my luggage get stocked in the elevator and get damaged. I asked for the Duty manager but never showed up. Bath room is so small.

After checking in online I have tried to pay a dinner and a drink with the same credit card. There was a big mess with the values, the bill and the charge in my credit card. The staff at checkin and checkout were not friendly and were incompetent. It is hard for people that travel to spend so much time and patience to solve these avoidable problems. I have cancelled already a reservation in December and moved to another hotel. Never again!

+ Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station - Bathroom very small with hardly any space to move - An annoying continuous hissing and cracking sound coming from the ventilation system which disturbed sleeping

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Small, but it is all we needed since we were sightseeing most of the day. Comfortable beds and close to train station. Walking distance (within 20 minutes) to the nice shopping areas and old town.
