A very good hotel in a very good location. The bedroom and the en-suite were small but that is normal for an inner-city hotel. One useful facility is that the hotel provides a free PC with internet access for guests. I did not have breakfast so I cannot make any comment about the food.
Great place to stay were travelling to Castres for a rugdy game close to railway and center so enjoyed our stay. Frendly staff and even though we stay two nights we only had breakfast on the last day we missed out
Small room but adequate. No kettle to make your own drink. Comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and you could help yourself to what you liked. There was even a bag to take away things with.
Floor was non-smoking but the smoke smell in our room was stifling. The ventilation system sucked smoke filled air into our room from other floors. The room was also barely big enough to open the door. The bathroom was very tiny and one person had difficulty getting into the shower. This hotel is not recommended for a nice place to stay. The check in people were very nice and the breakfast was fine though. The smokey and tiny room made our stay uncomfortable.
Ibis Centre is my hotel in Toulouse, where I stay 3 to 4 times a year for several days - it is centrally located but very quiet, the front desk managers are good, breakfast is really good as compared to other hotels and for once, is worth its price. Wifi is powerful, showers are hot and beds are comfortable, they have parking or, when full, they can propose the nearby parking (2mn walking distance) for about 11€/night instead of 20€. It remains a Ibis with standard beech wood and flower carpets in the corridors, not-so-fluffy towels and tiny bathroom, with the very occasionnal cigarette smoke smell from a nearby smoking-at-the-window neighbour, but I do sleep well in it, the front desk as well as the breakfast people are always nice and helpful, price is affordable if booked online and in advance, so go for it! Only drawback - you need to insert the card for elevators, and mine never worked!
If shower not working what does that say about the cleaning, staff did offer us a different room but it was late and we had unpacked. How can a hotel not notice shower was not working. Rooms very small but you get what pay for (except a shower!)
we have stayed here several times and the staff are great, rooms clean and comfy and location perfect for us with access to a car park that is near the centre and very easy to get to and from the motorway
The hotel room was not clean. There was hair even on the tiles of the bathroom. The staff didn't allow us to use the parking of the hotel saying it's occupied. At the same time the parking was half free all the time as our window was just opposite it. So, we had to use public paid parking. The lift was next to our room and was very noisy. We could hear it all the night. The hotel is rather expensive and there is no value for the money. The staff was all the time occupied with their PCs and paid no attention to the guests coming in. The service is really bad. Finally, after paying everything and leaving the hotel I received an invoice saying I still have something to pay. Only on the next day I received two correct invoices.
It is a good hotel in a good location, near the city center. The staff was friendly when we checked in and checked out. The only inconvenient is that the hotel does not have its own parking. The sorrounding parking options are, however, cheap and the hotel even has a partnership with a nearby city parking.
We appreciated the latest trend of wooden (plastic imitation of) floor, rather than a difficult to keep clean carpet. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Very close to metro and bus station. On the down side the standard IBIS shower room is very cramped. The room size is adequate. Wifi was for free
Stayed here for two nights in June. Just round the corner from Jeanne d'arc metro and airport bus stop. Rooms average for the ibis but not very large. Breakfast was ok and easier than finding somewhere. Staff not that attentive at the bar but other wise were great. Would come back.
The stay was pretty good if you talk about the location. It is ten minutes walk to the train station and near the main beauties of the city centre. Excluding the gathering poins of the fans from Wales :). Many good restaurants nearby.
the hotel's in a great spot, near to cafes and markets and restaurants, and the staff were perfectly set up to get me, and many others, to the football stadium easily. The room was good, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was tasty. Thanks
Hotel was modern, very clean. Rooms are a bit small but great value for the location close to Capitol. Lobby is big and modern and also has a bar and restaurant. Only downside was our room didn't have a safe. Otherwise I had no complaints.
Located in a peaceful street, just a stone's throw from the City Centre, this hotel is also convenient for the railway station and the airport bus which runs every 20 minutes, just about 3 minutes'walk away. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are of the usual Ibis standard, functional and clean. The buffet breakfast is of good quality.
I wanted a hotel close to the Capitole within walking distance of the Ernest Wallon Stadium and the train station. This hotel fits the bill. Just far enough away from the busy roads but close enough to the main route for the bus from the airport. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Will stay there again.
Very well located, 5 mins from Le Capitol, 10 mins from the trains station, 5 mins from the bus stop for the bus fro/to the airport. Staff is friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and big enough. The TV was noisy (a terrible buzz) but I didn't bother complaining. Overall, a pleasant stay in what can be described a very functional hotel. Good price/quality relation.
Having stayed in many, many Ibis hotels over the last few years, all over Europe and beyond, this was the worst experience I have had in any of them. I was very surprised by the ignorance (poor training?) of the staff, being roundly ignored at check in, when there were clearly other staff members available to help. There was no welcome drink which all the other Ibis hotels on my latest trip seemed to manage to have available. We had to change rooms (admittedly speedily) because there were bed bugs crawling all over the bed in our first room. At check-out the receptionist insisted that we had not paid for the room in advance, despite my having a receipt and it took another member of staff to intervene, eventually to show her that we had. The visit was saved from being terrible by the excellent service in the restaurant but, even as a big fan of Ibis, I will not be able to recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ibis Toulouse Centre is in a good central location, very close to the Capitol area and also about 10 minutes walk to Toulouse Matabieu railway station. It is also close to the Jeanne D'Arc metro and bus station. However it is up a side street and although it is sign posted from the main roads a lack of a secondary sign could easily have you passing it by
Close to the centre with easy access to public transport both around town and airport. Would be nice to have some sort of outdoor terrace for a drink and fresh air. Food was good. Airconditioning that chilled was a pleasant Ibis surprise.
