Location is good near the city center, free outdoor parking, a reasonable 12 EUR/day indoor parking by the hotel. The rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller, in a structure that is starting to be kind of old. People are nice, the breakfast is good.
Room rather small, especially the bathroom, but overall not too bad. Bed as usual very comfortable and breakfast adequate. Location close to a tram stop was OK for getting to the Parliament. Staff were friendly and helpful.
It was my first time in Ibis Strasbourg center. It is a large and confortable hotel, well placed to visit the old town. Parking is a bit short but we were lucky to find a place for our car. Breakfasts were delicious. People very serviable
Proper and functional room, comfortable bed and very enjoyable breakfast in a bright coloured place with à wide variety of dishes and very good coffee. The personnel at the reception was kind and helpful and the place is in 5ème waking distance to the "pont couvert".
Stayed for 3 nights prior to a Rhine Cruise. Adequate hotel with a convenient tram stop outside for the old town. As others have mentioned not the largest bathrooms in the world but ok. Very quiet with good window insulation. Had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was excellent value and quality . Ideal hotel for a short break in this pretty Alsace town.
The location of this hotel is just perfect for a visit to the old quarter of Strasbourg. A short walk over the bridge and you are on the edge of the old quarter, with great views, excellent restaurants and bars. The boat trip is well worth taking as it gives an overview of the history of the city, and the cathedral is impressive.
On arrival both staff at reception were checking in a coach party from Spain. So much for a priority check in for LeClub Accorhotels clientele. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. It was difficult to manoeuvre without accidentally setting off the hairdryer. I've stayed in student accommodation with more space. Choice of items at breakfast was very limited and staff were slow to replenish basic items and refill juice dispensers If this site were rebranded as Ibis Budget it would be more appropriate to the standard I experienced.
Excellent site just across the river from the old town. Room was fine but let down by the restaurant - closed on many occasions which were only revealed locally and chef ruined a good steak by covering it in balsamic glaze. I could not recommend the restaurant as a place to eat. Service was also poor.
Our room at the Strasbourg Ibis was probably the smallest hotel room I've,ever stayed in! It had the necessary amenities, except not quite enough places for two people to put their clothes and luggage. The location was not fabulous but OK. Staff were pleasant. Strasbourg is beautiful.
We had a one nights stay in this hotel on route to our destination. We often stay in the Ibis hotels in UK and France so thought we would try this Ibis in Strasbourg and glad we did, everything was excellent and will book there again if we are in the area
The hotel was easy to find from Rail Station. The hotel was good value for money in a good location in relation to the old town and staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The rooms were basic but clean and made available when we arrived (before noon) which was a big help.
Good location - 10 min from the Little France, pleasant bar. Available parking just in front of the hotel. The rooms were too small but cosy. Service is OK but could be better. Free wi-fi running well in the entire hotel.
We stayed in Strasbourg Centre Ponts Couverts in the middle of November 2015. Check in was quick and friendly; the room was small, but clean (even according to my girlfriends high standards!) and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good, not quite in the middle of town, but no more than 10 minutes walk from the lovely Petite France part of town. We had breakfast in the hotel once, I personally think that the buffet ending at 10am on a weekend is too early, but otherwise everything was ok. For 9.50€ you are probably better off going to a local bakery and trying some local delicacies, but there was plenty to be had at the buffet too. I would happily stay there again, the staff were very friendly and always helpful, they let us check out a little late too so that I could go for a run before leaving.
It is 10th Hotel Ibis which i have visited.Excellent Value price, location view and sleep quality ,service in RECEPTION.But unfortunately medium average: 1) service in room , sometimes staff did not get in room to tidy, took glasses for water and did not replace with new,did not clean the bathroom, 2)very small bathroom, very small room 3)Very poor menu of Bar and low quality, specially we requested to made us one club sandwich finally we supplied us one semifired sandwich without fried potatoes ,finally they took back .....
Not enough parking provided. Basic room with no toilettries provided. No space for 2 bags in a double room ! Clean hotel with close proximity to centrL location. Ok if you're on a budget... And prefer to be loyal to Accor...
The 6th floor corridor had not only a funny, slightly discomforting fruity, artificial smell but also a very low ceiling that didn't feel to be safe in a dangerous situation. The bathroom was clean but too small for an average sized person (1,80 m) to turn around without problems. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, friendly and happy to assist and handled foreign language customers perfectly. The buffet staff however seemed not to fully understand even basic english and was not really able to solve a simple problem.
It's not the first time there! We choose this Ibis as it has parking lots directly in front of the hotel or - and we were happy for that in that heat of almost 40° - car park in the immediate neighborhood, acceptable prices also for breakfast buffet and the old town reachable within a 10 minutes walk.
You know what you're getting with Ibis and they rarely fail to deliver. Room clean and well equipped, excellent central location, and great value. 2 minor quibbles: There were 2 plastic glasses in the room when we arrived, one went missing after the first day and was never replaced, and also on one day we returned to the room at 16:45 to find it hadn't been serviced. We went back out for half an hour by which time it had been done
We were all pleasantly surprised of "value for money". Efficiant and friendly staff at reception, good food and small but comfortable rooms. Location of the hotel is also fine. Walking distance to tourist sights and ample parking in nearby garage.
The Hotel is a old Hotel with the Ibis Flag, but it is ok for the Price Average. It is very good located and very near to the City Center. Free Car Park options in front of the Hotel (if you are luck).
