My visit towards the end of January 2018 was certainly not my first to this hotel - which is a positive comment in itself. Clearly there had been some renovation since my previous visit (June 2016), and that appears to have removed the Web Corner, which is not helpful for those of us who do not have a personal computer of any sort. The hotel is very convenient, being adjacent to the main railway station (approx 45 minutes from Paris Est). The Cathedral is about a 15 minute walk away, and easy to find. There is a tourist office in the Station Square, but it is not open all year round. However, it does have a map outside, showing the major tourist sites, as well as the locations of champagne production areas. The Cathedral is definitely worth a visit, with a statue of Joan of Arc in the square in front of it - something that many tourists seem to miss. By all means I would stay at this hotel again.

I arrive at the hotel to find out they were doing some refurbishments in the ground floor, Reception Desk, Kitchen and dinning place all together, wall not painted etc... not really what you want to see. The hotel is by the train station, you can hear the noise of trains coming and going.

Great location next to the train station. Walkable to great restaurants and shopping. Rooms are small but super clean. We only stayed one night, but the next time I come through I plan to stay here again.

Not the best Ibis we visited on our trip through France this year. The hotel looked tired, in need of a refurbishment. The room was small by comparison to others visited and in need for redecoration. The hotel is in the process of providing a new restaurant, so that is on going but does not affect the overall use and look of the hotel.

We have stayed here several times after many years of searching for somewhere consistently good to stay: Easy to find, parking, comfortable bedding, not elaborate rooms - but if for some reason you want to be changed the staff are happy to do so, CNN on the telly (what happened to BBC World?) good breakfast. And Reims always offers something to take the taste of a long day's journey away - last time, a concert in the Roman forum.

We use this hotel 2 or 3 times a year and it is always a good place to stay. Location near the station is no problem with little noise. Ibis hotels are easy to use and easy to book via the Accor websites. My only concern relates to the small size of the bathrooms. Nevertheless they represent great value for money.

This hotel ticks all the boxes when you just come to Reims for champagne. Walking distance to our favourite Mumm cellars. Of course the cathedral is a must. The hotel has an excellent breakfast and the friendly staff throughout is an absolute joy. The rooms are comfortable. Then again this is french hospitality. See you soon.

A great, convenient location going and coming back for an Alps trip. The hotel is a good standard and remarkably quiet given the proximity of the station. The 'buy one, get second room discounted' option was a real bonus too. The parking is a bit expensive now (station).

Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was also close to Reims station which was useful for our needs. Breakfast choice was to Ibis's usual good standard and the staff were all friendly. The hotel is also close to restaurants and other amenities.

Hotel well located near restaurants and pubs which is a plus when travelling on business and finishing late. parking is a bit dear if you park in the train station parking overnight (over 10 Euros) which is something you'd expect in larger cities and it is not under cover. The hotel staff was very receptive but the room size was SMALL. The biggest knock is the shower. A valve typically used for tubs was used in a shower that even the mid-sized child would have problems fitting in. Every I moved or turned I'd hit it and either get scalded, frozen or shut it off. The bar area was modern, bright, airy and friendly feeling.

Easy access to la gare de Reims and the tramway station 5 mins walk to the centre 10 mins walk to the cathedral The staff were very helpul and recommended some nice restaurants Recommended to stay at this hotel when in Reims

I've seen other people criticise these hotels for their limited space and basic facilities. At the price, what do they expect? If you don't need plush, don't pay for it. If you don't pay for it, don't expect it! What we wanted was: 1) a comfy bed. 2) Somewhere to stash our bags and hang our clothes. 3) Clean toilet and shower. 4) Car parking. This place had them all. What we didn't expect and didn't need were: in-room tea/coffee making; arrays of soaps and toiletries; fancy decor; room service — and we didn't get them. No problem.

Stayed here with my wife in Oct 2016. The hotel was a great value and very conveniently located. We took the train in from Paris and the hotel is literally next door to the train station. This also puts it in a great central spot in the city and close to the rental car services. We found the combination of price, location, cleanliness and comfort to be great and I would very much recommend it. The bed and pillows were also a notable step above the other places we stayed on our trip which was really nice.

Stayed here for one night, staff extremely welcoming, nice quiet room, good breakfast, English spoken price for drinks at the bar reasonable, breakfast was plenty of choice, not far to walk to the centre, easy access from J23 on the autoroute.

Stayed two nights and was very happy. The hotel is in a good location, short walk to the town centre and next to secure parking at the train station. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.. They showed the football, which was important for us.

Have stayed here on many occasions and it is an entirely acceptable "bog standard" IBIS. Convenient for the railway station, decent adjacent parking at €10 per night. You can't go too far wrong for a decent, cheap overnight stay close to the city, centre.

We picked this hotel because being just on the fringe of the city centre it was quite a bit cheaper than the others. But whilst the city centre is still easily walkable, the hotel benefits from being next to the railway station (i never cease to be impressed by TGVs), easily accessible by road and about 100 metres from a tram stop and 200m from a tourist information office. Our room was quite small but well designed with a compact pod-like bathroom, and we a great view of those TGVs. We were sightseeing on this trip but also went to football in the evening and the tram line outside took us to the Stade Delaune. The lady on the reception desk during our stay was very helpful indeed and very friendly.

First stay in an Ibis and very satisfied. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast, room on small side but air conditioned and comfortable. Ideally located next to main railway station and easy walking to centre of Reims. Excellent parking arrangement using adjacent facilities at the station. Would certainly use agin next time in Reims.

You always know what you're going to get at the Ibis. Whilst not a luxurious destination it's a comfortable, inexpensive hotel conveniently located for the train station and a short walk to the city centre. Friendly and attentive staff especially in the bar for a pre and post dinner drink. Breakfast is continental with plenty of choice including the recently introduced 'boil your own' egg.

We stayed at Ibis Reims Centre for one night as part of our return journey to the Uk. It was very well located close to the centre with plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel was comfortable but the rooms were small and the bathroom very small. It was ok for an overnight stay
