Room so small it was difficult to shut the bathroom door while sitting on the toilet. Almost impossible to dry off in the bathroom after your shower :-( we had booked to stay with our two cocker spaniels so the limited space was hard to accept.

The bathroom of the room that we were given first was not cleaned. We got another room but no upgrade despite my Gold membership - rooms are very small, especially the bathroom. At midnight there was a fire alarm and we had to assemble and wait in the lobby for almost one hour. The staff was nice and provided drinks, however, I would have expected something more the next morning. Tired from the night, there was no warm water in the morning. Having low expectations, we didn't even complain about this. Happy that we only stayed for one night.

no coffee/tea facilities, no drinking water, no carpet, no hankies, no toiletries, I do not think I will go back My room had no heating and was cold when I came. After the heating works well. They kindly turn the music when I asked

Nice little hotel very close the the palace with secure parking which is all helps make a trip. Very helpful staff who spoke English which really helped. Rooms are small but practical. Always use ibis hotels

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of February. The room was small, but large enough for our needs and the bathroom was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, cold meats, cheese, boil-your-own eggs, toast and croissants with preserves. Cereals too. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Versailles.

The Ibis Chateau de Versailles ticked most of the boxes for me. Affordable, especially given location, very welcoming staff, nice facilities in the entrance area and reception, small but comfortable room and fantastic 'night porter' - friendly, interested and helpful. Only issue was that the walls between rooms seem very thin so noise from neighbours carries, especially when they're using the bathroom or closing the door. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are very small, the bathroom a very tight squeeze. The lifts need to be upgraded, you can take quiet a while getting up or down, actually the stair case is faster. The location is good, the hotel is reasonably priced.

Really near the Château, good service and not expensive. Excellent choice then. Franco, who works in the bar deserves also my greetings for his kindness. The only inconvinient is that there are no Twin beds. It´s a pitty since the hotel would attrack more clients. But beyond that inconvinient, the rooms are clean and have enough espace for a short stay.

rooms very small and bathroom even smaller. Staff very nice. Location perfect, Room backed up to market and people out till wee hours of the morning though mad sleeping hard. Mid week price of $140, vs weekend price of $65. Was only worth the $65.

ideal for the chateau of Versailles, being just a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast really good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend to all visitors. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Ibis in order to participate in the Paris-Brest bicycle race. The room rates were high during this period and then dropped 30 euros after the event. The room was so small you couldn't move. This was our 5th trip to France; 4th to Versailles/Paris. We picked the location since it is right across the street from the train station. Less schlepping a large bicycle case around town.

Rooms are very small. Front desk staff are not terribly helpful and frequently rude. This is our 6th trip to France and 4th trip to Versailles. We are typically very happy with 2 and 3 star hotels and auberges. Prices are inflated for what you get at Ibis.

Very near the palace, perfect for tired feet! Good service and clean and fresh rooms. Compact rooms, but practical. Tiny bathrooms, not the place to dance the night away. Liked the breakfast, it had everything I want in the morning. Maybe they could add some cucumber and tomatoes to the buffet? Helpful staff.

This is excellently situated for the station, the chateau, the market place and with the bus station also only a few metres away everywhere you may want to reach in the Versailles area is to hand. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was busy but never noisy. The room, though small, was clean and perfectly equipped and laid out, ideal for a short stay. Breakfasts offered a wide variety of items in a buffet style, and the option to get a drink or snack at any time was useful. For overall value this would be very hard to beat

Very good location close to the palace, good service, small but clean and cozy rooms, well equipped, recommend this hotel, it would be better BATHROOM be a little bigger Unfortunately, there is no smoking

We were close to Versailles and the train to Paris. It was a must that we could park our car, and the hotel has an underground parking. We had a good stay, although the rooms arevery-very small. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, but they need to check, that they do not serve old croissants! The evening/night receptionist really did understand english - super - and was extremely helpful. We chose Ibis as our first priority, because we have stayed at Ibis hotels in Germany and France. To be recommended

This was a very comfortable hotel, very practical, most pleasant spacious room.Friendly staff and good breakfast, nicely prepared in a pleasant surrounding.Perfectly situated for visit to the chateau, for rail and bus stations if using public transport (which we were) and ideal, close proximity for restaurants brasseries etc in town.

This hotel, on a practical level, is pretty perfect. It has private parking, great value for money and the location for exploring the Chateau and gardens of Versailles is brilliant. The traint station to Paris itself is a short walk away too.Yes, it is a bit budget but it is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and informative. I would highly recomment it and would stay there again without hesitation

3 Day Visit To IBIS Versailles Hotel was very central, around the corner from the Versaills Palace grounds and across the street from the train station, just a 20 minute ride to Paris Central.Very courteous staff with great advise on the area. Lots of restaurants around the hotel with various flavours both fast and serious dining or have dinner in Paris and 20 minutes back to your IBIS hotel in Versaills. A great and comfortable stay.

We were at the end of a long trip and decided to stay one night in Versailles and see the palace. We booked the IBIS at the last minute. The room was small but very nice. The breakfast was very good and early, allowing us to get in line early at the palace, a 5 minute walk away. There is a parking fee, but it is definitely worth it. We plan on another trip next year, and will book it again.
