Breakfast is very poor, not many options. Room is very small. Bathroom is tight for tall people. Very close to bars, restaurants and public transportation. Staff was helpful in solving problems with out room.
No organisation whatsoever. No reception desk, staff is unprofessional, not caring, impolite, barely speaks French. On arrival there's no indication about how to check in, staff is merely wondering in the hall and doesn't seems to be interested in guests needs. When addressing to guests, they speak in an unprofessional manner and in a language that is not proper French.
The new customer reception is a mess, seems like a new concept but it is awefull. People are not respecting any line queue, its not easy to find the customer representative, they were not all friendly, so of them were some not. When there is a big group checking in or out, its a mess. Food court was always empty, they were not managing it very well, and at the price of the breakfast it is not acceptable. Been to this hotel before and i was satisfied, now i think i am gonna find a new spot in Paris.
It was good enough to sleep, but the rooms and bathrooms were extremely small. Also we didn’t have any air conditioning, which is something I specifically asked about before booking his hotel. The check in/out system is chaotic. No reception desk. Everything done on a phone.
no reception in the hotel, service was bad, no hot water for 3 days and they didn't care because the hotel was full. tiny rooms, not suitable for couple. breakfast was very poor and they charge for everything even for the language storage when you check out
I'm at different corners of the world every month. It was the worst experience of my life. The hotel was very bad with everything. Negativities do not end with count. I definitely do not recommend it.
Reception desk could not be seen and confusing. Number of staffs are less at reception and restaurant. Staffs at restaurant need to be educated about how to serve the customers. Condition of room is so bad and getting worst day by day.
Great location, near cambronne metro station (2 minutes walking distance) and near carrefour city (minimart/ next street) The important thing, it’s just 5-10 minutes to Eiffel Tower (using metro) The room quite small but enough space and also the bathroom. There is no thermo pot. The staff is very friendly.
Access to transportation is very good (subway and bus) But the space of shower room is not enough to move body Other bed, meal, services and kindness of hotel are excellent. Sometimes card key system was out of order.
The hotel location was very good the rooms are average we did have one problem where are toilet was full with paper and it took 6 hours to get cleared after the maid called 3 x and then I finally called the front desk a few times no answer . Then called again around the 6th hour and was able to get it fixed. My spouse was sleeping ill and the maid would open the door even with the no service sign posted. But was ok hotel.
Good for a quick weekend. Location fantastic. But an odd reception area which did not function well on arrival for guests, and the money spent on the reception decoration would have been better spent on the rooms.
An overnight stop before catching a flight. I phoned to request a disabled room as plans changed after my original reservation and my friend was flying with me. We had to share a double bed as there aren't any disabled rooms with single beds and the folding door of the bathroom made wheelchair access difficult. A few extras in the room like a 'tea and coffee' station would have been appreciated.
Fantastic location near to metro, bars, cafes, resausrants. Short walk to Eiffel Tower. Friendly helpful staff. Room small but livable for a few nights. Bathroom really small. Disappointed a further charge to leave luggage on departure by way of lockers.
We found the hotel like home and all front line office are very kind, and helpfull and available all the time, they are guiding on tours and printing anythign documents requested on free of charge. !!
The hotel is located on one of the most charming neighborhood of Paris close to subway and from Eiffel Tower. However serious problems occurred: 1) another guest entered the room at night ! The hotel checked in other guest to my room ! It was scaring. 2) the air conditioning was out of working and after several complaints the technician restarted it and after 1h shut down again. I met the technician who told me that the management ordered to shut down the air conditioning to save energy as outside temperature was 17°C ! It is an absurd and disrespectful to clients that like cold air conditioning even when outside is cold... 3) staff was rude regarding all complaints as it was something usual to them. 4) noise of restaurant staff during breakfast to replace cups and cutters. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant stay as planned.
we enjoyed our stay there, nice location very close to the metro and to the connections to trains and other sites. we can recommend this hotel, we did a direct reservation to Ibis, because we used Ibis in other locations in Europe
We booked this again recently due the pleasant stay in 2013. This time around the staff were unwelcoming and the food in the restaurant was awful. We did manage to get a refund for our meal however we had to ask for this twice. It was a real shame and the feedback seemed to fall in deaf ears
Our room was small and the bed was hard. It was fungus in the shower and the hotell looked run-down. The only positiv was the location. It was about 20 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and close to tube and bike.
This Ibis should be the best reviewed in Paris...however........despite great location and clean fresh rooms (Paris-sized) management is sleeping!.....air-conditioning not working......staff came up..noticed it was not blowing...never heard another word for 3 days.....no problem...opened the window for air at night, the hotel lets people sit in the courtyard at all hours of the night and the noise goes straight up to the room........we had a smooth check-in, but noticed many people very confused by the multiple desk/station check in with no sign or organization for lining up during busy times.....also, as an Accor Gold member no offer of the complimentary drinks was given...I am currently at an Ibis Budget property and I was promptly given 2 free drinks and the Mercure in Frankfurt gave us 4...overall this is the worst let-down that Ibis/Accor has ever given us in our over 80 nights .......management is surely to blame and should be re-trained!
a wonderful hotel. quiet location. next to the tube line. walking distance to plenty of food outlets. friendly staff and breakfast was lovely. easy check in and check out. rooms are very clean and bed are very comfy
