Very good treatment from the employees. At the checking everything was well explanaid. It has a very good Breakfast despite Paris has a lot of cafes. The bedroom is small but clean. I left the Hotel vey satisfied. I would came back in a future oportunitty.
Well looked after, hotel is safe and spacious in a nice area near place de la bastille. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I got last minute so had to pay a lot more that I wanted but for my purpose hotel was sound and metro breguet is nearby.
Love this Hotel, but that is bad there is no a refrigerator inside the roon and the toillet has no higienic shower. Very good staff, mostly if you are brazilian like me, almost all speaks spanish and portuguese languages, as well as english.
A well-situated comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of the Bastille. Very fairly priced. The room was of adequate size, the bathroom small but sufficient. Breakfast was copious and the fruit bread delicious! This was my second stay.
Room satisfactory, great location, great breakfast. Very unsatisfactory service at the restaurant and bar. This hotel needs to dramatically improve its customer service. Restaurant staff did not know the dinner menu, how their Boucher system worked, my order was forgotten, menu items were ordered twice only to be told much later that they were now unavailable. My order was then forgotten.
The bathrooms are way to small. The usually have mold inside the shower. Only one english speaking chanel (BBC). Perfect location for us and the breakfast is very nice too. The lobby upgrade is very nice.
They have recently re-done this hotel and although it was a good standard Ibis before, it is now absolutely fantastic - the decors, the people, the restaurant. I thoroughly recommend it. It has a modern approach to check in
When we arrived after 11 at night we were sent to a room which had not been made up. We were quickly allocated another room, clean but with a bit of mould in the shower. One of the three lifts wasn't working and one was a bit reluctant, The carpet outside the lift on our floor was temporarily patched. So a poor first impression but our stay was fine - Gare de Lyon and central Paris within walking distance, friendly staff, decent cafe and a perfectly adequate room. (Ibis are stingy with towels).
The room was desperately in need of refurbishing. Peeling wallpaper , crumbling plaster. The floor had not been swept. The biggest disappointments. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The location was ideal for our purposes.
Everything about the hotel was kind of good but I was appalled to see the bathroom (shower area) size. If one would even bend over to soap oneself, one would be poked by the tap or hit walls. It is indeed just poor. Dimensions are about 18 inches to 30 inches. On a humorous note, they probably want the couple to be completely embracing each other while taking shower because if they would not do so, they sure will hurt by pokes from all sides.
The hotel is clean and in a very nice location, very close to Bastille square, which is a very lively area with cafes and bars. If you wanna feel in Paris, you have to have a cafe/drink at one of those cafes around the Bastille square. The Ibis chain is nice for almost budget traveler, but not a backpack level. You steal pay an average price for rooms. They have one of the best beds/pillows combination, I have seen through my many travels, i do over the year. One issue I faced is the un-friendliness of the staff at the reception. They did not do anything bad, just seemed not very welcoming and as if they did not want to be there, nor serve you. One thing that Ibis should change is the 2€ charge for storing your luggage, till your flight time. It is not a big value (2€), but it is just annoying when you pay more than 100€ per night and don't want to offer a service that is offered for free at almost all other hotels.
Popular hotel, good location in Bastille, close to transport, restaurants, bars and sights. Small rooms and very small bathrooms even by Ibis standards. Comfortable beds. Convenient onsite parking but expensive.
It was my 3rd time staying there and still as happy as the first time I stayed last August for 2 weeks and now for 11 nights.it is very clean the help very pleasant and helpful and next I am going back to Paris I will stay there again. Thank you for everything . Nicole Illouz
This was my second stay at an Ibis hotel and once again, I was impressed. The first time was in Nîmes. What I loved about both experiences was the serenity of the room. Excellent sound proofing, simple furnishings, and an extremely comfortable bed make for a welcome break from the intensity of touring a strange city, maybe getting caught in the rain (in Paris), getting lost and stumbling on wonderful experiences. I loved that at the end of the day I could return to my Ibis room and simply reflect. The rooms are cleverly designed to make good use of space, and the room was the same size as the one I had spent several nights in in a 4 star hotel costing double the price. The only difference was a smaller bathroom because the Ibis room has a shower only. It's a good one, and I always prefer a bath to a shower, but the great price and excellent location made up for no bath tub. Speaking of location, this hotel is within a short work of Bastille and a Metro station that will connect you to every other part of Paris. Across the street you'll find an excellent Italian restaurant serving the best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had, and at very modest prices. When this email arrived, I was on the Ibis website looking for the locations of other Ibis hotels, as I'm likely to plan another trip around Ibis. Seriously. I also love that they don't have any of that chintzy hotel art that so many hotels have or ugly attempts at decorating. Ibis is very zen, and I love that.
A comfortable friendly hotel in the heart of Paris. I benefitted from a very reasonable rate and the hotel worked very well for my purposes. I could easily get metro or bus into St Germain for shopping
I checked in online and offered a freed rink on arrival, this was not given without an argument and only 1 drink when it should have been 2 drinks, ( 2 adults in one room). The room was the smallest I have ever had, very second hand, and with a mouldy tiny shower room. If it had not been for the friendly assistance of the lady at checkout I would have given 1 star only.
A perfectly located budget hotel. Perfect for a night or two, but don't expect anything high end. Bed is comfortable, staff is nice. Corridors are a bit awful but room is modern and decent. Location is excellent.
The hotel is closed to several metro stations all with different lines. The area is nice offering many different dining options. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a bit too small for the rest all good.
We stayed while visiting Paris with another couple. The rooms were clean and well maintained, however they were small with very little room to spare. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room either, however the breakfast was very good and was good value. The Air conditioning unit was ineffective.
The hotel was very far from everything especially public transport and the prices was very expensive for 2 stars and breakfast should be included the room and bath room were very small no equipments on the rooms at least a refrigerator because at that moment it was very hot in paris
