Very good reception and good city information. Restaurant recommended was excellent. Room slightly small, but good bathroom ventilation, good shower, and efficient air conditioning. Efficient check-in and out.
Excellent customer service, staff very friendly and helpful. Was greeted each time I entered reception and the receptionist spoke fluent english. Clean and quiet and very central for Pau. Would like to have has tea/coffee facilities in room. Lovely comfortable bed, no tea/coffee facilities in the room.
This hotel is ideally located in Pau city centre. Everything is easily accessible on foot. The rooms are comfortable and in good condition. There is a choice of car parking at the hotel. And the staff are very friendly, competent, and helpful.
The hotel had no available parking upon our arrival and little or no explanation of where we could park. We had difficulty unloading and subsequently had to rely on a good natured local who showed us where we could park in a brand new underground carpark for only 2 euros all night. Why could hotel staff not have been more helpful? No restaurant in hotel. Won't be staying there again.
Just stayed the one night in transit on our way back home to Durham following a great week in the mountains at Saligos with friends. We had a good lunch and a walk around Pau in beautiful sunshine Hotel is in a great location and staff were helpful, polite and attentive.
The hotel really needs a face lift, the rooms are small compared to other Ibis hotels. car Park small but on street available , not worth spending 10 euro for parking under the hotel. Bad doors and working systems keep you awake at night !!
The advantage of the very central location of the hotel is greatly offset by the very cramped accommodation. Most the usual amenities that the Ibis brand provides are on offer here, and breakfast was fine. Beds were of good quality, but room space was so limited that with 2 single beds there is hardly room to walk around. Double beds are simply too small for comfort, although there is correspondingly more free space.
Good location, a very helpful young man on reception who welcomed us after a long drive made our reception very easyThe one site parking access was rather tight, even for the average car. I had read other reviews but I have to say this was one of the better hotels in this group.
Overall excellent Quality/Price as normal with IBIS brand. Excellent city centre location, Bar but no Restaurant but no matter there are lots available of all sorts/prices within 200 metres. Parking is problematical, few spaces available and don t try with large car. But public carpark available 5 minutes walk for about 7 euros per night
Although we frequently use Ibis hotels, this one was really very disappointing. The air-conditioning was not working and when you opened the window it was very noisy due to the traffic. So we did not sleep at all. In addition the rooms are very small .
Location in the center is good. First time we had a working AC in an Ibis hotel. But very noisy. There is parking, but after back and forth with several of the front desk people, it seems that covered parking (paying no problem) is only upon reservation and since you can not book it online, the secret seems to be you have to call the hotel itself! The outdoor parking (free), although there are security cameras, does not feel safe enough. The complex has a walkway to a shopping center behind. So homeless are hanging out and drinking under the overhang of the hotel (way to parking in and outdoors) . Also characters passing from the shopping mall does not make you feel so comfortable in this neighborhood. Plastic matrass cover was very wrinkled, did not feel comfortable to lay on. Plastic also makes you feel very warm. Breakfast was good.
Great location near the city center. Hotel rooms small but adequate. Very helpful staff. Multi bus stops nearby and yummy pastries are within a block!! Only one bus runs on Sunday however. Free Wi-Fi helpful.
The hotel and staff were excellent. An English passerby said to put scooter in garage. Even though not in car space. Had to pay full rate. Asked to move once to small space. Pau is lovely nice restaurants buildings and views easy drive to Lourdes
Clean, friendly hotel. Free town centre parking so very convenient for a visit. The room was adequately comfortable but, probably, the smallest I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was very expensive. xxxx
The IBIS Pau Centre is right in the heart of the city centre, among the shopping streets, two minutes walk from a large commercial centre and bus stops with links to all parts of the conurbation. The hotel has no restaurant but there is a very good selection of places to go within a few minutes walk. Some might find the rooms are a little small. Wifi is available, but I could not access the free (low speed) service. However €4.99 is a fair price to pay for the reliable high speed connection.
The service and the staff in the reception was excellent The rooms were extra small compared to other Ibis hotels. I didn`t like the heavy noise from the street even though it was a closed street. I didn't like the substantial odour of smoke in the hotel.
Very pleased with our 4 night stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. The location was ideal and fitted in with our plans. The rooms are a little bit on the small side but this wan not a major problem.
